Your "We" describes dumb people unable to think for themselves critically. Im happy not to belong to your group of nonsense-video-viewers that waste time and space by doing obsolete commentary on obsolete videos. Next time just comment something like: "I really wonder how so many people fall for charlatans like the person that made the video!" You would probably get substantial less likes for speaking that truth, lol.
I love the fact that your theory actually gives explanation as to why we get crooked teeth. I generally believe modern medicine is too focused on artificially fixing symptoms, while omitting the true causes.
@@Hay_Bay I still cannot believe this, it works!, I'm 27, I'm a muslim and have been practicing Mewing like what the Doctor said without conscious since I was a kid because islam teaches about this 😂 and I really don't know the explanation except "good for health" and for me at least this method makes easy to breathe" until this early 2024 And now I know!😂 islam teaches Mewing & this study fits well 😂 and maybe that's where my Jaw lines come from, Alhamdulillah (quite gud lookin) I'm pure indonesian (Austronesian), I don't have Arab, Western, or Europe bloodline & My parents have a roundshape like any other Austronesian, I have better tooth shape although sadly I never took a dentist and it's worked! 😂 So good luck!
Been mewing since 2020. My health has improved, my looks have improved, my posture has improved, resulting in more confidence. Thanks Dr. Mew. U changing lives bro 🖤
38 years old. I started mewing 9 months ago. First month was the hardest. I have protuding front teeth. The before and after is amazing! Even though my jaw is relaxed during sleep, my tongue is on the roof of the mouth. But I thought I would need to do it for years before seeing any difference. 9 months...IT WORKS ON ADULTS ALSO!!! I can finally see definition in my chin from the profile. Thank you, Doctor!!! 🤗
@@JoATajNa 38 years old too, I started pretty much around the same time (august 2023), and got amazing results on the cheekbones, palate, and overall symetry. I still hope I can get my maxilla and mandibles move forward since that was my initial goal for starting mewing 😅
Me too! When I was eight, he taught me proper resting, chewing, and swallowing tongue placement and I've been doing it ever since to the point that I thought this was normal and everyone does it. I don't even remember what he looked like, but I am forever grateful for his insight.
@@eniola0 Yes I believe it did help! When you're young your teeth move more easily and through mewing my tongue helped making enough space for all my teeth so the braces could do the rest. depending on how crooked your teeth are, I think it's an investment for life and better than veneers in the long run too.
I had a dentist practically laugh at me and tell me there was no point in trying to fix the fact that i rested my tongue against my teeth/sucked my teeth when i swallowed. I was like 22.

3 years and a half, and I haven't given up on mewing. Thanks Mike, Thanks John, and thanks to the community. One day you guys and this community will be pioneers, and I swear this won't be forgotten. Don't give up on mewing guys. This is not a random trend, this is the future.
It’s not “the future”, he is bringing information to light that we should all be doing already. The mewing tongue posture should be the natural resting posture for your tongue and Mew is teaching this to the generations to come. I will mew and my kids will mew too.
As a " mewer" for the last 14 months, this WORKS!! I've recently seen friends who I've not seen in the last few years, and two asked me if I'd had surgery. I saw this on youtube 14 months ago and began my journey. I've been very pleased with the overall results.
@zylophone777 if you wanna know, this works at any age, the younger you are the faster and more prominent results. If you're older it will be slow and maybe less visible but you'll still notice a difference.
Im a 17 year old girl who just started mewing around 4 months ago. Already I have gotten a very good result and my face is just better looking. My cheekbones are slightly more pronounced and my under eye bags have gone significantly. Thank you so much. Mewing is not a joke. Done properly it works wonders.
I have a question.... Am I suppose to feel my hyoid muscles when mewing (they get tired) or am I suppose to feel my cheeks get a sensation of suction? What feeling am I exactly looking for when mewing?
My lower jaw teeth are recessed, and my front four teeth do not touch my lower teeth because my upper jaw has grown upward. Could you please tell me how to practice mewing? Should I try to touch my lower teeth to my upper teeth? At what position should I rest my tongue, and should my lips be closed? I have severe overjet and overbite. Your response will be very helpful.
Mewing removed my Rhinitis. I was tortured by it since I was a teenager. Thank you very much sir. You're the doctor in my life even if we didn't met. I love how much I can learn from internet.

Never seen you been SOOO straight foward on orthodontics, i'm 20 years and a dental technician, i studied orthodontics my self in school and always found this types of treatments less problem solving then what they appear to be, i would say it helps in the aspect of stopping people from bad occlusion, but orthodontics comes down with problems like tooth loss in some bad cases because of the stress applied on the roots, it comes down with costs sometimes absurdly high, and with efforts that aren't worth the deed once you know about MEWING, a NATURAL technique that wasn't extremely known but existed since thousands of years ago, something we evolved with, and it doesnt cost nothing, doesnt applies stress to your roots because the maxillas bones are the ones moving. Mewing is just better and i'm glad to you and your family mike for your work of truth and honesty and showing which his the healthy and right way.
@@ikarma8848as long as u do it exactly how he instructed then no. If u do it wrong or follow someone else’s tutorial that isn’t Mike mew’s then u could cause jaw damage
Been mewing since I was 18, currently 26, I had extremely crowded teeth with barely any space in my palate to fit my tongue. I still remember the headaches from forcing my tongue into my palate and the blisters that used to form near my uvula. All I can say is it was well worth the initial pain. Over the past 8 years I’ve seen my breathing improve, allergy problems reduce by 90%, I no longer snore, my face and jaw changed completely, and although I did end up getting braces (with premolar extractions unfortunately) I’m certain the time I spent developing proper posture improved the trajectory of my orthodontic work by preventing recession of my mid face. Seeing the popularity of Mewing grow in recent years brings me joy as Dr.Mew and his Father’s work has truly changed my life and is finally being recognized by the masses, despite all of the ostracization you both have experienced among your peers. Thank you Dr.Mike and Dr. John Mew
@@filippog6024 yes, at first it ladted a while then returned, later it reversed to snoring on out-breath rather than in breath. Finally, after about 4 weeks, with practise it stopped altogether
You are a god sent. I thought my face sagging was due to age. After watching your videos a couple of years ago, I realised that I had been breathing more through my mouth since I moved to the city centre and the pollution has been giving me a constant blocked nose. I had been very conscious of my posture and breathing since that video. Your work has improved my health, both physically and mentally.
As someone who had upper and lower jaw surgery, braces, expander and all sorts of things done to my mouth, nothing has ever fixed the issue of the thrust of my tongue, and my teeth have still shifted even after all of the expensive orthodontics and oral surgery this video literally has changed my life and I plan on doing this every single day now and I can’t wait to see results as a 40-year-old female. I really wish my parents had gotten second opinions and this is the problem with modern medicine as we think everything is only one way and if it’s outside of the “standard of care” it’s frowned, booed and cursed.
Hi Dr. Mew! It's a pleasure to virtually meet you! Im 53 and first heard about mewing on Chalene Johnson's channel around the later part of summer of this year, 2023. So, its a real pleasure to get to hear about it from you!!! Due to my chronic asthma, I have been a mouth breather for most of my life. And as a result, every "before" picture and example you have, is me! In the short amount time of putting mewing into practice, I can already see the reshaping of my jaw line. I am approximately 30lbs overweight, yet my face is starting to look slimmer and more defined. I have less sag under my chin, and my nose actually seems to be reshaping (that's crazy!!!). I purchased mouthtape to help me keep my mouth closed at night while I sleep- (It works). Mewing is a REAL thing that yields REAL benefits and results! I thought it was too late for me. I didn't think it would work for me, but it does and it is!!! Thank you Dr. Mew! Im incredibly excited to be on this journey.
You're 53 and seeing results? I was under the impression that after 16 years old or so, the bones tend to stop moving and Mewing is less effective? Im 45 years old and unfortunately, I had multiple molars extracted when I was a kid to make room for my teeth in my crowded mouth. I now have the common downward, shallow jaw, recessed upper jaw, etc. I'd love to get more projection. I find it very difficult to get a good suction on the tongue - and especially hard to use the back 1/3 like Dr. Mew said to use... But - If results are still possible at my age and older, I'm going to definitely attempt to try!
@ryandinan so perhaps my bone structure is not being changed, but the fat under my chin seems to be tightening. I attribute it to the the mewing cause I'm not really doing anything else differently
Thank you for posting about it as an adult! I'm one as well and I don't think it's too late to have better posture and positive facial changes, like with muscle. I'm going to try this!

As someone who got double jaw surgery and lives with deep regret of it everyday due to the health problems it caused me, I cried readings y’all’s comments seeing this worked. The pain I went through for years not only to prepare for that surgery but also afterwards… and to know I could have just done it from home? And I would have recognized myself, instead of feeling like I’m looking at a stranger in the mirror… all I can say is to those of you finding this video early on, you are extremely blessed. I wish I had it when I needed it.
If you had to go through surgery to fix whatever you had then mewing won't magically fix it for you. Mewing is just fixing a bad habit and if you force it you could have side effects like swelling and strengthening face muscles which causes a desbalance, headaches and poor sleeping breathing.
I've been considering double jaw surgery to fix my facial lateral asymmetry. Could you share a little more about your experience and why you regret it so much?
Im in a similiar spot. I got braces when I was 16, shortly afterwards I got clicking and then a tmj problem and headaches and facial pain and everything feels off with my jaw structure
Mewing has changed my life! Thank you, Dr. Mike Mew, and your pioneering father, too! Not just beautified jawline and facial bone structure, but better posture, including while eating which improved my digestion; better sleep (no mouth breathing or teeth grinding) which increased energy and physical strength during workouts and daily activities; improved upper respiratory function as a result of breathing through my nose - no mouth breathing! And even improved public speaking due to strengthening of the jaw, throat, and neck muscles in addition to better lung function which strengthens the vocal cords and beautifies the voice. Blessings to you and many thanks. xoxo
I'm 25 years old. I came across Dr. Mike's mewing video in 2018 and it clicked with me. I started mewing shortly after and have been so ever since. although in 2021 I was particularly consistent with mewing and chewing gum daily for 4-6 hours. My facial structure changed dramatically even though I always got compliments for how straight my teeth were even though I never had any sort of orthodontics done. recently met with a high school friend that I had not seen for almost 5 years and he accused me of having a Texas jawline surgery done; of course I took it as a compliment, most likely the best compliment I've ever had. All in all, Dr. Mike is onto something very true and we all should benefit from it. Never stop mewing.

@@jimmygui617 I had a well developed jaw bc I had firm foods in my diet, but my issue was my mid face and area below the jaw. My tongue was not on the roof of my mouth so my upper jaw was too narrow to fit it comfortably, so my mid face was under developed. I would mouth breathe and my tongue would fall, so my face lengthened and “melted” and the angle between my throat and lower jaw was an obtuse angle and not an acute angle. I had poor posture and TMJ. Now, all of that has been fixed, or at least closer to being fixed. It’s slow and still a work in progress but I feel so much more confident now. @@Chopper66811sorry, but any changes you've noticed are mainly from genetics and possible fat loss especially since you're still actively developing until you're around 20. The tongue can't generate that much force to alter bone structure that large.

@@numberonedad hello, Im a dentist :) and face paralisis is caused by the facial nerve, which goes inside the buccinator muscle, which nothing has to do with mewing. Most of people that has bruxism could mew without knowing, and there is no correlation between bruxism and problems on the facial nerve, neither between mewing and paralisis. It could be probable that he has another illness, maybe something on the nerve itself or maybe some kind of tumor affecting the neurons in the path to move the muscles of the face. But putring your tongue on palate? It wont make you anything to your face nerve, its impossible (unless your dad has some kind of really weird anatomy malformation). If he really does have paralysis, he should be worried because it is no normal and it wasnt caused by the mewing, and if it did, he might have a malformation and he should take exams to discard it.

@@mrtfff you need to go and get an adequate diagnosis, that crack sound isnt a good sound, we have what we call clicks and pops in the joint, they are bad enough. But a sound like crack or sand against sand? Isnt a good sign, go and get a diagnosis! Yes, it might have something to do with bruxism, and it wont be solved just by yourself, you might need a device made my a dentist to avoid that pressure. There are some positions of the muscles that those devices can guarantee where those muscles cant and wont be making a big amount of pressure. Spanish is my native language, btw, so dont expect a lack of mistakes in my grammar. First, try sleeping without any pillow in case you are, so you dont press your jaw between your neck and head. Dont sleep putting any pressure over your joint or jaw, dont sleep over any side of your face and never face down. If its hard, try with a pillow behind the knees, if you feel any weirdness in the posture on them. Hopefully you dont need that, but that will make harded also for you to sleep in any of both sides, because it will be harder with the knees like that. Go to any dentist with special knowledge and studies in TJM (Temporomandibular Joint Disease)

Thank you for sharing your experience as someone who had highly likely grown into his facial structure when they started. I'll soon be 28 and want to do this deapite that I really like how I look but I do feel like my teeth are ever so slightly crowded, I have enough space but it seems barely, and I feel like this might improve my singing technique so I'm excited for that. Also the idea to straightened my nose and overall improve my health is very appealing. I have forward neck posture (maybe slight kyphosis but not sure) and a slight scoliosis and I feel like mewing will probably help these issues at least indirectly. I'm very excited. I was also never a sporty person but I'm convinced in the gealth benefits of exercise and want to build a routine of consistent at least mid-intensity cardio and strength exercise so I bet all the hormonal benefits of that will be benefitial to the mewing too.
Speaking from Brazil. I was very ugly, VERY UGLY, people said I looked like a rat. Not only that, but I had sinus attacks, had to blow my nose all the time and always looked like I had the flu, until I started mewing. Today, 3 years later, I don't even look the same, I get sincere compliments all the time, and since I started mewing, I've never had any more problems with my nose. I haven't become a supermodel, but now I don't look like a rat like people used to say. That's just with the mewing, because I'm going to start exercising my jaw now. So you can see that this isn't just a question of aesthetics, I was already preparing to have surgery for a deviated septum, as I couldn't breathe properly, and today that's no longer necessary, as after the mewing I've never had any more problems breathing Edit: I am 20 years old. For some reason I can't reply to anyone in the comments, the comment just disappears. To mewing, say "king" and keep your tongue where it was when pronouncing the K.

I’m 19 now and have been mewing for over a year now, and it definitely has had an amazing effect on my face. Only a couple months in one of my friends made a completely unprompted comment about my jawline looking sharper and it stuck with me giving the motivation I needed to keep mewing as hard as possible.

@@kaywire6099 You should look into neti pots. You fill it up with boiled (but cooled to body temperature) water, mix salt into it, pour it into one nostril, and it flows through your sinuses and out the other nostril. Helps with allergies. And finally, ensure the salt is for nasal irrigation, don't just use table salt, as the extra minerals in it may be irritating
I started mewing at age 17. It straightened my upper teeth noticeably, improved my breathing a bit, and my cheekbones also started to seem more defined shortly after starting. Now I’ve watched the video. what an explanation! I started doing this in meditation and the explored the pressure and it took away headaches and my nose felt better and even stood up better. My eyes feel clear. I’m older and don’t look it but really it was the clarity it gave to me head that made this a regular practice. What a surprise to find this video!
Mewing has been used as a technique to utilize during meditation for thousands of years because of how it opens the always and helps to prevent saliva from buildup.
You are not just a doctor, you are content creator, story teller, eye catcher, social strategist, know how to get people's attention. Everything was perfectly explained and well designed video and its assets too. We need more doctors like you who encourage to avoid the social dilemma.
Not all MDs have the ability to do this or want to. My GP had no time with her schedule. For her to make time she’d have to give up time with actual patients who need them. Let’s hope that doesn’t become a trend.
Didn't know what this was but I've been doing it for over 10 years at this point. It started just from trying to stand up straighter then it became a question of Can posture be perfect? Usually massive adjustments that affect your face are from neck adjustments, but your lower back significantly changes the way your head is seated on your neck as well. This allows more nose breathing, which requires you to raise your cheek bones(if you're ever doing cardio you'll notice an urge to perk your head up and tilt it foward) if you look in the mirror and align your ear lobes with your cheek bones, keep that orientation and adjust your back posture until that is your resting orientation. It's not easy, there's usually some chiropractic work in the way of doing so, but that's what you gotta do if you want to look better.
I have went through having braces because I needed to get implanted teeth (missing teeth were from the genetic condition), however I never used a retainer and only did mewing. This actually made it so my teeth stayed in their correct place after the orthodontic treatment without the irritating retainer.
I’m 39, 2 years ago I realised my chin was receding, it made no sense to me as I regularly exercise and stay in shape. After researching the subject I found this community and have been mewing ever since. Mewing 100% works even at my age, although progress has been slow, my face looks sharper and my eyes look more open. That said, it’s not an easy journey, I’ve cut the inside of my cheeks multiple times with all the “sucking” and I’ve been caught so many times pulling really strange faces in public, but it’s all been worth it. Thanks Mike for your all your efforts

I then went to the mirror and noticed how sucking your tongue to the top of your mouth instantly reversed all of that. But it was so uncomfortable that I thought it cannot be the soulution. This video just prooved that I was on the right track
I've been struggling with nasal spray addiction for the past 2 years. I did this for a few days and I didn't even need to spray anymore. I always blamed the dry and polluted air in my city.. turns out the culprit was my posture all along. Jawline improvement or not this is definitely something worth doing. I can't even begin to thank you!
I was also addicted to nasal spray, i found routines for expanding airways and all of them included applying pressure to the top of your mouth and massaging face, after three days i didnt need spray anymore. Sometimes i use some ocean water in spray bottles for cleaning nose, but thats just water, cant get addicted to that i guess? This was more than a year ago(i learned about mewing just today), i still need to do it almost every day, before sleep but after learning about mewing i think i will do it more often. Gonna report here if i remember
Last year I took my 15year old son to the orthodontist for braces treatment, two months later I stumbled with Dr. Mike videos, next day I got my son out of brace treatment and put him on mewing and chewing gum regimen. Thanks Dr. Mike for saving my son’s beautiful features!!!!!
I wish I had a doctor that knew about this when I was a kid. My orthodontists gave me top and bottom palette spreaders when I was in the second grade, and I had them until high school. It was unbelievably painful. I have been trying mewing for some time now, but I struggle to keep up with in consistently. Looking forward to this video!
This is a great shame, it is not like we (my father for the last 50 years, and now me for the last 20) have not tried as hard as we can, but it is not as profitalbe as traditional orthodontics
Oh my goodness, this is exactly the video I’ve been looking for since I learned about mewing about 2 years ago! Nothing better than an in depth lesson on how to mew by Dr Mew himself! (Instead of all those influencers on social media) thank you thank you thank you!!!
I have been waiting for this video for years. I found this channel several years ago, and wanted to share all the information with others, but there wasn’t a concise summary of everything. So grateful for this!
regardless of the tiktok trends and all these hype, this guy is a true professional. I m looking forward to improve jaw and posture and he just gave not only the whole package, but also the context of beauty and thus. Truely in-depth thank you very much sir
I noticed I did this constantly with my tongue a long time ago just naturally. I always thought it was a weird habit I had. Glad to hear the benefits of it. I think he’s absolutely right. Especially about it straightening your teeth
Thank you Dr Mew for all that you do, and allow your professional knowledge to improve health and facial development available to all, instead of keeping it exclusive for those who can pay a high price, with lots of orthodontic visits over a span of years. I have followed your channel and mewed for 5+ years. I had teeth grinding issue in the past and the dentist made me wore those nightguard that caused me jaw pain and made my jaw dislocated (clicking sound). I practice plastering my tongue on the roof of the mouth and my issue was gone. Your community is massive and we can easily debunk the naysayers, because we all experience the benefits that mewing brings. Much gratitude.
I have been following you for the last 13 months. I must say you have positively influenced my facial health. I am enjoying a healthy younger face now. It was hard in the beginning to consciously focus on the nose breathing but later on it became a part of my habit.
The stickers to put on your mouth while sleeping combined with plasters for on your nose that open your nostrils are a must! You only need to use them for 1-3 months daily then you won't need the mouth sticker anymore! The nose plasters are actually nice to have as well because if you have stuffed nose because cold or whatever you can use one and it helps a lot. Also I saw some sporters use them while performing I guess for more oxygen intake which is a pretty cool fact. Neymar is one example that I googled just quickly.
Yes def, i became 38 and just started to get my tongue posture nose breathing aright and whooaa i already see a big difference.Go for it- its works @@ahmedsamir-ic5tq
@@ahmedsamir-ic5tq I learned how to mew with suction hold. But I was mewing yesterday by suction holding. I sucked up all the saliva until it became vaccum. And it worked. My toungue got attached to the roof with any big effort. And I started to swallow saliva whenever the saliva comes up or the hold loosen up. It was going well and then suddenly I started feeling strange under my toungue (the salivary duct) and felt a small bubble forming up. I checked and googled. I just formed a ranula under my toungue. However its a small ranula. What should I do? Should I continue mewing?
Apart from significantly sharper and larger jawline/ramus, Mewing also significantly increase my brow ridge size and projection too not to mention nose projection and under eyes area becoming compact. All of this facial structure changes I think is mainly caused by fixing the maxilla position from mewing to cause upward and forward growth of the bone. I started doing it when im 23 now im 27 . I do hard mewing since then. It works in post puberty too
Been mewing since 15, from the start my facial development has come a long way which has drastically improved my breathing and overall structure. Thank you for changing my life Dr. Mew!
😂 because your skull keeps growing. 15 is basicly a child. Everyone looks different from that age. Not to muck, but I have yet to see any proof of this thing and why it would actually change your nose and bla bla blah.
On top of mewing chew gum for a few hours per day as well. The forces of chewing give you wide jaw and wide upper pallette/straight teeth. I told my younger cousin to start this at 15 and now he's 17 with a male model tier face and jawline. Do it before you reach adulthood and your growth plates close.
I do it like this: first, relax your face, all the overworking muscles especially. Then focus your thought on the Ajna chakra, the place between your eyebrows and feel how the posterior 1/3 of the tongue lifts up. This is the most important thing and the most difficult. Then, if you feel there's still pressure in the masseter muscles on both sides, release the tension. You feel like the sides of the tongue are also completely lifted and the tongue is flat on the roof of the mouth, resting there. To keep this position is easy and pleasant. You feel your face becomes shorter, your tissues, muscles and skin are lifted. Finally you are doing it and it feels pleasant. And it can go on forever. 👍
How should out teeth be positioned?? I can touch the front bottom and top teeth but the rest of the jaw isn't in contact. But when I bring the jaw together, the front top and bottom teeth don't contact.
Interesting. This is the exact posture requiered during zazen i.e. Zen buddhist meditation, invented thoussands of years ago. And I mean exact: straight neck, chin tucked in, tongue against the roof of the mouth, lips together, only breathing through the nose, back straight, belly breathing, etc... I'm now going to look at photos of Zen Buddhist monks to see what their faces look like
I am doing that since I'm nearly 18 (21yo now) and it became a conscious reflex and I would be doing it even unconsciously. It completely changed my face. I just ordered now jaw trainer because I feel like my jaw is a bit assymetrical. I don't necessarily believe in those but it was fairly cheap and I'm already pretty happy with my face shape (especially compared to before. I have severe asthma and acarians allergy.) I wish to now have a wider jaw because of how skinny i am. But I'm totally grateful for this. Thanks a lot!
He makes a lot of sense and finally science or Dr Mew is proving this. I had a my wisdom teeth removed because they were growing angled. Till date no doctor or dentist have been able to explain why and what I should to resolve it. Their solution was to remove it. The GDC should NOT have removed his licence. This is an injustice to future health and development of oral health and the development of a natural jawline.
Once when I went to the dentist, he told me if I had ever worn braces in my life because my teeth were perfectly aligned, and I never want to wear them. Once again, thank you so much for helping me reach my best.
When i put my tongue in this posture, it feels like my lingual frenulum is going to be cut off, i mean when i put my tongue back third and lift the front. Is this ok, I never tried mewing before. Hope you'll reply
@@for_glorious_purpose bro, there are people who have a shortened lingual frenum, from what I know it is necessary to go to the doctor so he can analyze and possibly fix this shortening, but if that is not an option, try as much as possible to keep your tongue in the N position

Hi Dr.
Hi!!How long did it take for any changes?
@miapax1962 they are subtle changes...but I'll say, about 2 months

It’s slow and still a work in progress but I feel so much more confident now. my dad started mewing based on the advice in this video and now he has facial paralysis! he's also much uglier than he was before
@@numberonedad hello, Im a dentist :) and face paralisis is caused by the facial nerve, which goes inside the buccinator muscle, which nothing has to do with mewing.

Do you have a before and after by any chance?
Speaking from Brazil. I was very ugly, VERY UGLY, people said I looked like a rat. Not only that, but I had sinus attacks, had to blow my nose all the time and always looked like I had the flu, until I started mewing. Today, 3 years later, I don't even look the same, I get sincere compliments all the time, and since I started mewing, I've never had any more problems with my nose. I haven't become a supermodel, but now I don't look like a rat like people used to say. That's just with the mewing, because I'm going to start exercising my jaw now.
So you can see that this isn't just a question of aesthetics, I was already preparing to have surgery for a deviated septum, as I couldn't breathe properly, and today that's no longer necessary, as after the mewing I've never had any more problems breathing
Edit: I am 20 years old. For some reason I can't reply to anyone in the comments, the comment just disappears. To mewing, say "king" and keep your tongue where it was when pronouncing the K.

The stickers to put on your mouth while sleeping combined with plasters for on your nose that open your nostrils are a must!
You hit puberty

Bro is out here helping so many people.
This is an injustice to future health and development of oral health and the development of a natural jawline.
i love you dr mike you changed my life for the past 3 years thank you
Once when I went to the dentist, he told me if I had ever worn braces in my life because my teeth were perfectly aligned, and I never want to wear them. Once again, thank you so much for helping me reach my best.
When i put my tongue in this posture, it feels like my lingual frenulum is going to be cut off, i mean when i put my tongue back third and lift the front. Is this ok, I never tried mewing before. Hope you'll reply
@@for_glorious_purpose bro, there are people who have a shortened lingual frenum, from what I know it is necessary to go to the doctor so he can analyze and possibly fix this shortening, but if that is not an option, try as much as possible to keep your tongue in the N position

wow this is actually very interesting and answered a lot of questions I've had about these different issues. Thank you for the great work!
mewing really works.
I started at age 24 nd now i am 28, my facial structure has changed drastically.
be honest please...has it really provide significant improvement?

What do you notice? Do you suck or do you press your tongue?
@@danmcclaren5436 At least he believes it did. That doesn't tell much.
Hi, did you get an upswing face? Did your maxilla change? Thanks
Too hyped to wait!! I can't wait!
39, been mewing for a month. have noticed very subtle (but clear to me) chin and cheek improvement and tighter skin on the neck under the chin - that's just after one month and pushing 40. it works for any age - you just may not see the more radical changes as quick as a developing body
That's bullshit man. You are 39 cheekbones do not change and muscles do not develop so fast. Accept you are just getting older and stop misleading people
No evidence mewing works as an adult. Show me a single case of someone with crowded teeth being able to mew as an adult then getting straighten teeth.
@@83442handle wtf is this weirdly angry, oddly specific, and very entitled reply? do you know how to talk to people besides your poor mom?
@@360.Tapestry you made a claim that mewing works for any age. so where is your evidence?
@@360.Tapestry Sounds like you are the one 'weirdly angry'. You actually replied to me twice and deleted the first response which I see in my notification history;

How long does it take to see a change and for it to be more permanent? Is everyone different.
Please help Mike Mew. Thank you.
