I bought them !
I drive them with a Galactron 3020 an italian ss integrated amp.
WoW the combo is really great and these loudspeakers are neutral but really dynamic …..with deep bass !
Good job Pmc ❤
MOST EXCELLENT COMPADRE!!! Very balanced presentation, I woulld say that's an understatement. I am close to 64 and I made a successful pair of transmission line loudspeakers In the late 1980's. N.othing beats it as far as clarity and transient response. Thanks for the wonderful presentation.! John C.. C. Peace!!!
Nice demo, great choice of tracks. Kef LS50 meta vs pmc prodigy 1, who wins for you?
I own a pair of PMC TB1 and a French JMR Cantibile. Both are transmission line loudspeakers. By far the best sound at medium levels. I will try these soon. Very few distributors…….
Amazing sound,thank you!!!
Difficult to judge on youtube especially with unfamiliar recordings but it sounds like a small, bright speaker
Which one did you like more, KEF R3 Metas or the PMC Prodigy 1?
@AyushP306 The Kef R3s where better for me , they just get lower for that lower end mids
Right now I'm looking at these, against the Amphion Argon 1, a gently used pair of KEF R3 Meta's, the GR Research X-LS Encore, and the Dali Menuet SE. Obviously the Dali's are going to need a subwoofer but the room is relatively small and all concrete (South Asian style construction). Anyone have any immediate thoughts?
On Friday I have a Kef R3 meta sound test going live at 8am UK time , have a listen and compare 👍
@@FatpigeonAudioReviewsWhat is your preference for a smaller room?
These PMC Prodigy 1s have so much personality!
I'm just concerned they're hard to drive and need like 150-200wpc
@@MadLadsAnonymousI have these driven by an Exposure 3510 and it drives them easily. I would suggest anything over 75wpc would be fine.
@@thebingaling1105 And how are they with low volume listening?
@@MadLadsAnonymous very good to my ears. 90% of my listening is lowish volume when the kids are asleep. I would say the better the amp and more power will help with this also. I know that sounds obvious. I also used a CA Evo 150 with them and they were great with that too. What amp are you using?
I think your front wall has too much reflex sound to mixed the whole space... try some zero reflex matiera
And audio continues to shave off value by not including a stupid grill.
Next - Tweeter sold separately.
AFter that - woofer and tweeter sold separately.
Cheesy, cheap crossover and steel binding posts - all sold searately.
Screws to hold stuff together--yup, on its own.
A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON DEPARTED
Are you that poor you can’t afford these speakers ? 😂
no. i'm just not stupid enough to buy them@@Gadgetdad007
Less than 10% people will ever use grills anyway
