This is one of those songs where the guy's voice actually shines, and his voice did. I love his voice. She's amazing too.
I saw the movie 15 years ago, and this is the song that made me cry, and 15 years later, I'm still crying. The guy's voice is just pure heaven ❤❤❤
I attended this concert in person. Andrea Lykke and Diluckshan Jeyaratnam were such a perfect match for the musical pieces. An astounding performance!
Oh what a moment did you have!! 😍👏👏
And now her twin sister is hopefully winning DMGP2024 and entering ESC2024
The original by Ewan & Nicole, tears me up every time I hear it. This did exactly the same! Both singers nailed it, pitch perfect and emotionally sensational.
Exactly
Watch the expressions on the orchestra member's faces. All smiles and they are singing along. You know there is emotion in the music when they are moved to sing and play. Bravo.
He exudes so much kindness...
This version is close to what I have watched in the movie.
I love it!! Can you hear how the guy nailed the song?!
His voice really complimented the girl's voice. Bravo! Bravo!
Andrea and Diluckshan are the best younger ( musical) stars right now, just brilliant voices and true star power🤩
This is Music for the soul!
I always love how the orchestra really buys into and enjoys the modern story telling of the movie and video game music. Sometimes, with other traditional orchestras and symphonies of cities and countries, you still get that condescending feeling when they do modern music. Like a body language that says, "omg another movie night concert, whhhyyyyy?! I'd rather play Tchaikovsky."
This is my favorite version of the song since the movie.
Aside from the vocals, I really love the orchestra. Considering Satine is known as the sparkling diamond, I love how they have these crystal sounds in the beginning that just drew me in, evoking imagery of precious jewels. It really captured Christian's unchanging love for Satine such that to him she's worth more than any precious jewel.
Perfect music from a perfect film...... Excellent performance
2 Beautiful Voices and Wonderful Music. Thankyou so much.
Lovely pair. Both look and sound gorgeous!!!
WOW - just wow - what music - what voices - what an orchestra - who needs hip hop ! ! - critical listener Philippines *
Oh my God. This was so beautiful. The symphony and the voices gave me goose bumps. Thank you so much for posting this.
I think I’d pass out if I was in the front row! Wow
This is the best version that I have heard. Simply brilliant.
Version 0ne live
Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to vanish inside your kiss
Every day I love you more and more
Listen to my heart
Can you hear it sing
Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change
Winter to spring
But I love you until the end of time
Come what may
Come what may
I will love you
Until my dying day
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly it looms with such a perfect grace
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
All revolves around you
And there is no mountain too high
No river too wide
Sing out this song and
I will be there by your side
Storm clouds may gather
Stars may collide
But I love you
I love you
Till the end of time
Come what may
Come what may
I will love you
Until my dying day
❤

I want a Star Wars event where Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman go on stage dressed as Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi and Duchess Satine Kryze. And then just do this song exactly. No further explanation. It would be so damn amazing.
Merci c'est trop bon 💘💘💘💘💘💘

Diluckshan, the best Alexander Hamilton ❤
He's lucky that he has that high key . How i wish i had it too
I love you, Nazeli ❤😂
Better than the musicail and movie version I think with that sweet orchesitra behind them.
I love it when the Chinese sing land of hope and glory.
Is it the audio encoding? Was there some sort of autotune on the vocals? There are a lot of parts that sound weird, like @1:45 when his vibrato hits, it's garbled. That said, I love this song, love that they did it with a big orchestra, and the singers did a great job.
Look for the version by Luke Evans and Charlotte Church. you can thank me later. Luke Evans did a lovely version of YOU RAISE ME UP on a cliff. He has his own channel.
Mình có ₫ôi cánh ₫ể bay
It kinda sounds like it’s auto tuned doesn’t it?
0:45 1:20 then 2:15 2:20 and 2:37 maybe I’m crazy but it kinda sounds like those auto tune microphones i had as a child 😂
I was thinking there was some live auto tuning going on here as well. I wish they hadn’t done that. They seem to be fantastic singers, and it would have been better if their vocals were left natural with any imperfections. They would have been very small imperfections. I’d be so pissed at the sound people if I was one of the singers here.
It’s DNSO they don’t use auto tune, it’s raw talent.. otherwise they wouldn’t sing with DNSO.
Wow. Fantastic orchestra, although sometimes they drowned out the singers. The male singer was phenomenal. The female singer had potential, but seemed timid at the start and end. This demands "presence" and the ability to belt it out when it climaxes.
Try the version by Luke Evans and Charlotte Church. Luke did a lovely version of YOU RAISE ME UP standing on a cliff. I was waiting for it to break.
Similar to Ewan's voice
Is it just me Or does the make vocal timing seem about of on the beginning.
