The great part that I love about that you guys find yourself wishing for armrests is that you can buy them separately! I'm looking into buying one and love the versatility that you can change your mind on things like color and configuration without entirely replacing it!
I've watched several of your videos before deciding to buy this sofa. Two years later. I love it! I have a dark gray sofa. The cons is that its low to the ground. It took awhile to get used to getting up. My age 🤣 But you can buy custom legs that will raise the sofa. Also the couch moves apart even with the clamps but getting rubber squares under the legs solves the problem Overall. I love it. And I get a lot of compliments.
Great review, thanks for the info after 5 years. One thing I heard was some people add extra foam under the seat cushions when they get it - could be just the thing you need to make the couch comfier for you. Cheers!
I just got mine and found some websites that gave upgrade options to make it more comfortable. You might look into that to help get some life out of those new cover before buying a new couch.
I have just bought a corner piece of soderhamn instead od buying an armchain :) i xan havw it in a corner of the room, takes up little space, has supporr on two sides so i can uctuallt sit diagonallt and on the diagonal it is so long that i xan strerch my legs fully. And on the sides i have space to put my laptop or xuddle my bunny, all without having an actual couch or long piece, which would take up so much more space :)
We just got one about 3 weeks ago, we like it a lot but it also suffers from the mismatching backs. Cats loved to scratch the covers so had to buy the more velvety type.

I just looked it up and you are right, we were thinking more of a flat lower and wider arm rest. Other than that we do still really enjoy this sofa.

The cool thing with this couch is that you can buy the armrests separately and just install them
