Hi Sasha love your video very informative about the process. I currently have a signed affidavit from a family member who state they are in good financial standing and says I will be staying by him and he I will be funding me etc. however their funds comes from assets they which is stated is the affidavit like rentals, investment and savings. Would a bank statement also be needed ?
Also after you submit your application. If they need more info would they tell you or would your application be closed ? And the process have to be repeated.
Hello Sasha do I need other documents apart from the one mentioned above? Like; a letter of affidavit of sponsorship and relationship( to prove our relationship) from the court signed by the sponsor, pictures of me and the sponsor and an employment letter from work from the sponsor?

@@itsingridc it depends on the program you are applying for. Some will but some won’t. Please go to the course academic requirements and you’ll see this answer based on each course

You should group both the letter of sponsorship, the bank statements and also the ID if the person sponsoring you into one file and upload these.

He knows he has to provide a bank statement as proof to show the funds exists. Is there a way he can send the bank statement and letter of support to IRCC without me seeing the bank statement. (He is very private with his information). Thank you.
Hello, so you’d have to be the one uploading the documents so no. You’d have to be the one combining the documents in your application then submitting it

If i have two sponsors do I have to write two separate sponsorship letters or I can have one of them write one on behalf of both and just have both of their signatures?
You have to write different letters for each sponsor. So get two separate letters

Hello! He/she just need to highlight which area and the amount they are sponsoring. No need to mention if they are 1st or second sponsor
Can the letter be signed digitally?
Should the bank statement be general? How much months needs to be shown?
If it’s from a sponsor they usual requires a general bank statement showing the final amount or anything showing the last 6 months

Hello sasha what if my sponsor bank statement letter the name shows different to that in her birth certificate? Because she married and using her husband name, and her husband died a year a go. How can i proof this? that her last name changed after she got married
You can use an affidavit to show that it is the same person.
They would have to provide the proof of the marriage certificate, death certificates etc and/or affidavits

Yes that is correct. And also the copy of their ID too.

If your sponsor covering everything then you’ll just need their statement but if you are covering some of the expenses then you’ll need to provide yours as well

Yes you can use the same template. You just have to edit the relationship part and put “Parent/Parents”

If they are using a joint bank account statement with both names then only one letter is needed with both names on it.

Yes but you have to adjust it. So instead of covering tuition, books etc that would be for school, you would put travel expenses, living accommodation etc. Just make the minor changes to fit the visitors visa requirements.

If it's self funded, how do you write the sponsorship letter?
If you are funding yourself then you don’t need to write a sponsorship letter. You need to write and explanation letter instead and then attach your bank statement to show the funds available

No it won’t be an issue

The sponsorship letter can be written by a family, spouse or close friend. If it’s a sponsorship letter for a student then it can be written by someone outside of Canada or inside.
If it is for a visiting visa then it has to be written by someone who has their permanent residency or their Canadian citizenship
@@kavishfakoo9984 you can use your friend but you have to get a letter from that friend with other supporting documents to say that friend will be able to accommodate you for the duration of your stay
hey, what if u do not have the $10,000 but you have $5000 and three sponsors that has more than the required amount, would those sponsors be good or I would have to have $10,000
The 10,000 can come from more than one persons. So if your sponsor + yourself is 10,000 or more, just provide the proof and you should be good

You can use any email you want to use but make sure you have access to the email if needed

@@bigb1113 as long as he writes the letter with both him and his company’s name on it with a brief explanation sharing that he is the owner and provide the proof and bank statements then it should be okay. Just make sure that all information is provided to explain everything

That’s information is based on you and your sponsor and unfortunately I couldn’t tell u an exact amount. Any amount that they can afford and prove.

Yes for sure! Especially because they are family members. Just remember to get their copy of IDs, bank statement and sponsorship letter
