    Aim to increase the percentage of raw food/unprocessed food from wherever you're at now, to 80% or so raw. Probably best to do it over time.. slowly adding more good items and dropping more bad items.. nuts are high in fat, but not the same kind of fat... greens have building blocks of protein that your body puts together.. especially with a squeeze of lemon juice..

    I think I would do a "mostly" raw food diet and I'd just eat cooked beans... soaking them would take too long! Garbanzo beans and black beans are my favorites.

      Cooking makes food toxic and denatures it stripping it of its essentials

    I was told that leafy greens are made up of protein (amino acids). And if you eat a variety of leafy greens you will get the essential amino acids (protein) that you need.

    Careful with uncooked rice eating. My sign other ended up going to a doctor because of stomach pains after eating uncooked rice all week. It is terrible for birds because it swells in the stomach. People are cautioned to refrain from throwing rice at weddings now.

    I agree with everything except the protein "Myth". Humans do not need to seek protein. Proteins are chains of amino acids. There are 24 amino acids essential to the human body, 12 of which we produce ourselves and the other 12 we need to consume. Raw Fruits and leafy Greens have all the amino acids we need in the form of live enzymes. There has never been a case of protein deficiency in medical history, and excess protein has been linked to many diseases. Living food for the living body

    see she knows more than me but I know something she doesn't know is that the body only needs about 3,4, or 5% of protein, well here is the kicker plants all have veggie plants I do not know about fruit, but vegi plants all have 5% protein what we need, wow wasn't our creator smart

    Food is so high now. The amount you'd spend on fresh raw food would break ya. Hell I'm struggling just to feed us anything at this point.

    @RosieLeighGreen You miss the point. The point is that vegetables have alot of protein in them.

    Pesticides are in most non-organic fruits and vegetables, so you need to plant you own or buy organic always.

    second reason is incorrect, our body absorb more energy from raw food than from standard foods, that's why you can eat much less and having more energy. however, calories are becoming irrelevant on raw food diet.

  • @RosieLeighGreen
    @RosieLeighGreen 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @LeppardPrintAnimal I got the point, actually. I think you missed my point, the point being that some people enjoy a varied diet.

    Does it really matter if you denature the enzymes by cooking the food?? Because I'm pretty sure that as long as the amino acids remain intact, you'll have all the proteins you will need...

    • @chanceadawg5526
      @chanceadawg5526 ปีที่แล้ว

      What about the other nutrients and you need the enzymes to aid digestion and promote healthy chemical reactions in the body

    • @undergrace1808
      @undergrace1808 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah like a Lego set put together now ur body has to break it down. More work on the digestive track. Also animal protein is not the best quality protein for our body.

    For protein try Hemp protein powder. Its amazing, has all the amino acids (important for building muscle) and lots of other nutrients.

    Protein in veg lots of info in raw food communities like raw food rehab, raw food kempo master, life regenerator

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal
    @LeppardPrintAnimal 14 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @RosieLeighGreen then your original comment missed the point. You can have an extremely varied raw diet, and alot of people want to eat this way. If you prefer to keep on stuffing your face with poisonous rubbish, go ahead.

  • @trini2sweet4u
    @trini2sweet4u 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @beshnola Hi ... It is not only eating meat that contributed to a larger brain but cooked food ... because it took less energy for our bodies to digest and process these food. Over the evolutionary process there was now more energy available to develop other organs and functions such as the size of our brains and intelligence. (As the theory goes). I am not a raw foodist but just inquiring on the potential benefits and weight management.

    letting the rice soak over nights just to eat and save nutrients in it sounds sort of pointless to me.. Just cook it lol. You'll be getting healthy carbohydrates from it anyways.

      Soaking it gets rid of starch in case you are a fatty, and also the arsenic.

    The DNA of raw food has been changed, there are lots of videos about how the nutritional value of food is far less than it used to be

  • @bluesquirrel38
    @bluesquirrel38 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Raw foods DO contain enough protein! Vegetables have protein and most American's eat too much protein, which cause problems for the body - so this video is not a great source of information .

    ...I think you need to do more research. Gaining weight = consuming more calories (energy) than you expend. Losing weight = expending more energy than you consume.

    Vegetables have protein - so not that hard to get protein from raw or traditional vegan diet. So tired of "experts" not saying this....it's easy enough to look up.

    • @freshfade28
      @freshfade28 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ikr! They kill me saying that and everybody says it. As if meats and nuts are the ONLY way to get protein smh

  • @chongmanack1343

    Bean snd vegetables has enough protein..too much protein give health problem..all vegetables has protein.

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal
    @LeppardPrintAnimal 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    The protein thing is nonsense. You don't NEED seeds or beans for this. Gorillas, horses, etc get all the amino acids they need from veggies. How does she think a cow gets so big? It didn't get the protein to grow so big by eating another cow, or beans did it? It got that big from grass.

  • @RosieLeighGreen
    @RosieLeighGreen 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @LeppardPrintAnimal Yea but no one wants to eat grass.

    Why would anyone want to eat raw rice? Irish people died from this during the potato famine. There are so many fruits, vegetables and nuts, I cannot see why anyone would even consider raw rice.
