Thank you for making this video! I am very new...just getting started as of a week or two ago! I really appreciate how descriptive you are about what you are doing! That is so very helpful and that makes your video high quality to me! Your content is what makes your video supreme! Please be encouraged and continue making more videos!💖
Excellent video! Very in-depth description and instructions. Oh yeah, I almost forgot...a stunning pour!!! Thanks so much for sharing and hope to see more of your videos.
Well done, Claire!!! so lovely to see and hear you, as well as enjoy your beautiful paintings :-) This is a great way of showing the consistency needed for Dutch pour......can just imagine how very many you'll help by doing this. Thank you xx
Superb video Claire. Don't be so hard on yourself, you will have helped many, many people with this vid, and it was very pleasant to watch. Love the pour btw, great job.
Thank you for your very informative video. Excellent explanation and visual for paint consistency. It has helped me immensely. Oh, and you're NOT rubbish. I loved your straight forward, no nonsense approach instructing. I'll be keeping an eye out for more from you. Thanks from Kerrie in Australia 🇦🇺❤x
Just a little tip..... If you put a couple of drops of your paint mix on a piece of paper and hold it up to see if the paint runs down the paper freely then you pretty much have the right consistency . That helped me a lot . Good luck. 😉😉
Love this Claire!!! Good show! Such a great, down to earth video, complete with British humour! Very ‘real’ which is what I appreciate and there’s nothing hidden. Cannot wait for the next one 💚🥰
Molten Girl thank you so much Pam..all a bit scary tbh but as long as I managed to get across the whole process ie paint consistency and blow technique then job done 😘💜
Well done! I love the way you explained everything and now I’m inspired to give it a try. Loved all the details that you shared. Thanks for your time. 💖
This was a great video, please do some more. Wonderful advice. I think this was fate, I tried a Dutch pour yesterday and got a muddy mess. My paint was too thick 😩. I like that you’ve given alternatives for paints for us here in the uk. Looking forward to your next video.
Really informative thank you I'm desperate to get this technique right I think my issue is too much paint . Do you use a hairdryer too!! Would love to see your technique for that please X Thank you for showing us
Claire, first great video, no need to apologise for anything. Could tell you were nervous, but I would be too. I'm in Suffolk, so will have a look at those paints you used, as you say, very expensive hobby. Looking forward to the next one!
Stop saying sorry lol, you did good. It's nice to hear a British voice doing a video. I think you should do more videos, you explain the process very well and it's really good for us newbies to have a British perspective in a very Australian/American dominated medium. Well done you 😊 Ps. I've subscribed now, so you have to more videos....😉😂🤣
@@claireschaffrath6630 I'm only teasing 😁, you did great. A glass of vino for Dutch courage maybe (pun intended), but great news that you're thinking of doing another vid 😀
Lynette Vickery 🤣 I was so nervous I’ll have a glass of vino for the next one..yeah always use the hairdryer on the bigger ones but that’s another mission in itself 🤣💜
Finally someone from the Uk love all the girls from Australia/USA learned a lot from them ..but it’s difficult to follow their recipes as we can’t get the ingredients here in the UK.. you explain everything so well I have been pouring for a while... still finding my feet and doing well.. haven’t ventured on to iTube yet ..would love to hook up with you Claire to exchange notes xx
Hi Robyn no cell activator at all just paint and water. I do however use it occasionally in my other Dutch pours by literally just sprinkling a few drops of it over the last colour but not in this one as I wanted to show you guys that you literally only need paint and water x
Just running through your videos and I am learning something on each one. Although you apologise abou the quality of the video etc, at the end of the day most people don't need all the bells and whistles and can get a bit distracted or bored waiting for the substance of the video to begin. That's what's great about your videos very thorough but to the point, so you achieve your objective. Hopee to follow you on your journey. Do you use any of the pouring paints in blooms like the mont marte for example or would you need to thicken them yp too much?
The instructions were very clear. Also the info on what to do with the excess paint. I am going to start back with some painting. However, I have a question which may seem funny. Why is it called a "Dutch" Pour? i have not heard that term before. Grazie!
Bea Giver thank you yes always save your paint for sure. I believe it’s called the “Dutch pour” as the move Rinske Douna another great artist who is from the Netherlands sort of started the whole technique hence “Dutch” but I may be wrong 🤣💜
Today you’ve lost me as a subscriber due to comments that your friend Molten girl made on Facebook. Her runaway hostile mouth aren’t doing you any favours 😬

Very pretty! Do you use a cell activator, or it's just paint and water?
