(11) Fluid Bloom acrylic Pour with Warm Earthy Autumn Tones on a black base
มุมมอง 8834 ปีที่แล้ว
This pour is a fluid bloom/sheleeart technique created on an 8" primed mdf wood square. I used two coats of Gesso to prime the mdf. If I had used a thinner piece of mdf I would have also primed the underneath to prevent any warping. I have poured X2 free flow (ready to pour from the bottle acrylic paint) mars black base which has been mixed with Pebeo Bindex to thicken it up for the pillow. The...
(9) Fluid Bloom with Black Pillow & Earthy Warm Colours
มุมมอง 1.6K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows you how to create a Fluid Bloom/Sheleeart bloom with a Black Pillow & Earthy Warm Colours. I have used a normal fluid acrylic X2 Free Flow - Mars Black from www.specialistcrafts.co.uk mixed with Pebeo Acrylic Bindex to thicken the base/pillow. I love the earthy warm tones against the silky black base. I am using products available to artists in the UK and possibly other locatio...
(8) Let me introduce myself and show you where I started in the world of acrylic pouring!
มุมมอง 5554 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is about my first ever acrylic pour being a basic flip cup technique. I also wanted to introduce myself to you all and talk briefly about how I got into the world of fluid art. I hope you find this of some interest as I wanted to share with you my first ever dabble into the world of acrylic pouring. This video shows you the basic tips and instructions on how to create a flip cup pour...
(7) Fluid Bloom/Sheleeart technique using Black Pillow Paint for the base
มุมมอง 2.9K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is my take on a fluid bloom using a black acrylic paint for the base or pillow as it is referred to in the Sheleeart Technique. I have used a Free Flow X2 Mars Black acrylic mixed with Pebeo Bindex to thicken it up. I prefer to use these products for my pillow as the house paint available in the UK which I have been using lately produces too many air bubbles which are referred to as "measl...
(6) Acrylic Pouring - Dutch Pour Technique "Pretty in Pink"
มุมมอง 2.7K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Acrylic Paint Pouring using the Dutch Pour Technique. Theme is "Pink" so totally out of my comfort zone with these colours as not my usual choice. The canvas is 20cm x 50cm. I am using leftover paint from a previous pour so the base is a mixture of primary magenta and titanium white. Both paints are from Specialist Crafts in the UK. They are the X2 Freeflow (ready to pour) range. This video is ...
(5) Fluid Bloom acrylic Pour - Valentines Heart
มุมมอง 8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Fluid Bloom acrylic pour Valentines Heart using a red pillow base. Something a bit different using a cross between a Dutch pour and the Sheleeart/Fluid Bloom technique. I do not use house paint for this pour. I do use a pouring medium and cell activator. Products used for the Base X2 Freeflow Primary Magenta www.specialistcrafts.co.uk/x2-free-flow-acryl-2-litres-primary-magenta Pebeo Studio Acr...
(4) Fluid Bloom/Sheleeart Technique - using products available in the UK/Europe
มุมมอง 11K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is about the Fluid Bloom/Sheleeart Technique using products that are available in the UK/Europe and may be other parts of the world. I have taken the Sheleeart Course which was very good and well explained. However, as I am in the UK I have found it very difficult to obtain the exact products that are used in Australia where Shelee is based. Therefore I wanted to share with you what ...
(3) Dutch Pour - Correcting Composition
มุมมอง 1.1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is about how to correct the composition of your Dutch Pour. Very rarely am I completely happy with the first result especially when working on bigger canvases. This is not an easy technique to master particularly when it comes to blowing out the colours with the hairdryer. In this video I show you how to persevere and how to get the look you are after by scraping and repouring certai...
(2) Dutch Pour using "Scary Hairdryer" and how to scrape and repour negative space.
มุมมอง 9774 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is to show you how I use the hairdryer to move the paint..its not an easy technique to master and takes practice. I also show you how I scrape an area I do not like and repour to get more negative space and a better composition. Canvas used was an 8" x 8" or 20cm x 20cm Paints used:- Specialistcrafts Free flow - titanium white for base mixed with some leftover emerald green free flow...

Just paint and water used no pouring medium and no floetrol. Created on a 5" x 5" canvas - start small to build confidence. Lovely but far too many materials and lots of waste so not for me
Pretty but it seems like a lot of wasted paint.
So house paint is gonna stick to plastic and glass and not just take your fingernail. Be able to peel it off
Can you use any acrylic paint or crafting paint.
I think I would try blowing with straw after each color poured 🤔🤔🤔
I think it would be easier to dip the ball in a deep cup then tip upside down on wooden dowel or skewer, you wouldn’t waste all that paint 😳
Just discovered this channel today, 18 April 2024. What an informative and useful one, especially since I live in the UK too. Shame there are no more videos… hope you are ok, best wishes 🙏😊
These are stunning.Great job.Only thing that gave me anxiety was all the wasted paint! Can you not quickly scrape it back into the jug after to save waste? They will look fabulous on a tree.Beautiful job!
Claretaylor6125 basterebbe immergere la pallina nella vernice, zero spreco😮
Love the stars‼️‼️‼️just beautiful ‼️‼️
Wowww so beautiful ❤❤ i love it so much🤎💛🤍🖤
L😍 VELY ❤
do you use Australian floetrol?
Très joli
These were gorgeous I love the colors
Get yourself an enema bulb, save you blowing like mad
Hi What about a sticky dot on the end of the stick inside the bauble to hold it a bit steadier, if it doesn't come out it won't matter 😊
Beautiful.. I use a lazy Susan under all of my projects. Makes turning your items easier.
Wall paint is a bit expensive just to coat a bauble isnt it?🤔
Super ❤
just beautiful!
Is the cell activator only mixed into the last paint color used? 🤗The ornaments you created are gorgeous!
Gorgeous and explosive like first love.
Drop me a line if you want to share info.
Hi Claire, have been getting very frustrated in using bloom technique as all recipes in America, really great to find your video using UK products! THank you so much.
Put a cup in bottom of small paper cup to catch run off and a bit later take stake and bulb up
Hello, Claire, Pretty Valentine! Love the Primary Magenta! I don't know if you read old comments (it is 7 Feb 2023), but I just wanted to share that using Carbon Black as the paint for your cell activator is not likely to make many cells. The density of that paint is only 1.8 which means it will not have the effect of a higher density black like Oxide Black (density of 4.4) or Mars Black (density of 4.6). The denser pigments in paints cause "Rayleigh Taylor Instability" whereby the denser paint sinks, causing the less dense paint to rise above pulling in colors of adjacent low density colors, creating cells (when the greater density paint is swiped over the lower density paints or spun on a spinner). You won't find all of the colors on the following chart, because many are a mix of pigments, but when a pigment alone is used, you can find much of what you're looking for in this area by searching online for the Golden Acrylic Paints' density chart/list: goldenhub.goldenpaints.com/storage/uploads/pigment-density-of-golden-artist-colors.pdf
I'm such an idiot! I tried to copy this beautiful painting. It all went completely wrong? I had the base colour perfect, then the rest were so heavy and gloomy. Can anyone please tell me what I did wrong. I'm so upset, the canvas was massive 🤔❤️🇬🇧🏴
Hi Claire I love your work. Can i ask which resin do you use and do you have any issues with it being cold in England. The resin I have bought says it needs 21 to 24 degrees to dry properly! 😐
What do you do with all the paint that rolls off? I’d it wasted? Can it be saved and reused ?
Love how the stars look like marble.
Love it! I have TONS of latex paint that I picked up from the local paint store that is called “oops” paints. I have dozens of cans that I use for painting flips and anything else. Now it’s going to be making this beautiful project you have here this weekend! I Love the stars, I have wooden ones that I was going to decoupage a paper photo of the family members that have passed away.
You waste a lot of paint
too long. we get it, two bulbs upside down.
Wow! Just gorgeous. Beautiful colors. Watching in 2022 from Texas, USA. Your channel popped up in my feed and so happy it did. This is exactly the way I want my ornaments to look. Love the stars as gift boxes. So fun in a stocking as well. Love reusable things. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely stunning!!
have you tried using a rubber tube for blowing the paints? seems like you would have a more controlled pattern.
awesome !
I want to scrape and use the excess white paint. Live this technique
Gorgeous!
So so pretty. 😍
Here it is 2022 still loving your creativity. I'm trying the star shape bauble this Christmas. I love your Brit accent especially when you say 'pretty' Merry Christmas Claire, from Canada Free!🚚🚛🚜
Elegant!! Love it❤️
Beautiful!!those are my favorite colors. 😉👏👌👍
I can’t actually believe I’ve FINALLY found someone who can give me an alternative to house paint as my pillow. THANK YOU 😊
They are amazing Claire does the activator make the cells sorry I’ve never done this type of thing before. Thanks
Could you use keyboard compressed air to avoid any possibility of getting saliva in your ornament?
Hi Kim I wouldn’t worry too much about getting saliva on the ornament. You will be finishing the ornament once dry with a coat of varnish spray if you are concerned about any contamination. You don’t tend to get saliva on it when you blow out the bloom x
what's in the cell activator?
All the ones I have seen on amazon are fillable so come in two parts
Please can you tell me where you ordered glass baubles from
A great video, Thank you
