Real step 0 : Quit your job, avoid social life and btw girl/boyfriend then play 8AM to 4AM, Buy some Monster to counter the natural effect of tiredness. Wp you are Diamond
Its been exactly 30 days since i watched this video. I was Silver 4, ambitious and motivated. I OTP Garen/Ornn, and I am now FINALLY where i belong! Bronze 2
You literally are the most important league climbing channel on TH-cam. I have been here since season 2 and I used to be silver. Now I’m hard stuck iron.
no not anyone here is why (i am diamond and have been 9 seasons) it takes time (not everyone has the free time to practice properly and consistently) it takes usually 300-400 games to get to diamond with 55% win rate this is a massive consistency and requires massive improvement throughout the process. 55% at silver 2 and 55% at plat 2 look completely different. It takes a grind mindset. This means that you have to in a way 1trick (at least 1 trick a role) the more champions you play the more you offrole the more you will go down in win rate and winrate is king. ie getting to diamond is boring and a lot of people play to have fun. getting an arbitrary achievement at the cost of having fun for 400 games is not worth for many. It takes resiliance. Getting to diamond means that you have to push through inters, afks, smurfs, trashbags, cunts, disco nunus, l9 assholes, ratirl wannabe twitch junglers, getting camped to oblivion, flamed on a consistant basis when things go sour, even flamed if you are doing the carrying. It destroys your mental over time. I know many people that have the mechanical skill and game knowledge to reach diamond easily but stay in silver because that mental cost is too high for them. instead they stick to normals and play barely enough games for g4 every season. Now staying diamond is also a pain since there is decay I hit diamond this season and decayd and i don't have any desire to get back to diamond. This means that in OPGG i will be a hardstuck plat 1 player this will fuel the flame aspect from the enemies. Keeping the rank is also not something many want to invest in. The moment you stop playing your understanding of the meta dwindles. You getting back for few games in a month to not decay often means you losing those games which means that if you got diamond at the beginning fo the season and said "i don't want to anymore" that you will eventually demote from losses instead of decay I get that this is a video that tries to inspire those that are grinding but people who have played 1000 games in silver have no concept of improvement. You can tell them and hold their hands until they reach diamond and they will but once you take off the training wheels they will return to the elo they started from this is in a way boosting these people can't play at a higher level It's like fat people being forced to stay on a diet and a workout program they lose the weight but once the sociatal pressure comes off they gain the weight right back up I also get that you are doing this for click/views/money but people need to understand that unless you actually want to get to diamond you won't be diamond You can purchase the rank but you won't be diamond and this is something every diamond player has to go through to get to masters we have to fight through the most insane coin flips because of people that purchase their ranks So please instead of teaching tips and tricks on how to abuse certain cases teach people how to develop, learn and adapt
As someone who's been into economics, getting to diamond sounds like a F- investment option, that yields no return other than loss of mental health. It's like if someone was to invest all their savings into a failing business, stressing over the shares going up and down, just for the business to go bankrupt in the end. The only "profitt" is a broken man.
@@rihasanatrofolo2472 if you look it that way sure but you can't look at it that way there are a lot of people that put too much value in the rank which there is none it's an achievement and a test for yourself of how good you can get soloq broke me s7 when i lost 3 months of progress in 3 days with 20 in a row unwinnable games the profit is just the achievement in which only the person achieving it knows how much value it holds
I got to diamond two seasons ago and then i said f it and took a full year break from the game, I legit developed anger issues because of league. I've never experienced this level of mental drain in any other game, I've reached top 500 in wow rainder io, I've gotten to grand master 4 seasons in a row in overwatch (previously diamond) but League is on another level, I've had 5 consecutive games where all 4 of my teammates go into a hard negative kda
I did the math with my current 61% winrate on my main champ, it'd take me more than 200 games to go from plat 4 to diamond promos... I lose 16 lp and gain 13 because riot hates me
@@jaagupvahtras6232 I know that, I just live having all those skins and masteries and what-not, I wish I didn't have to make a new account for riot to accept that I've grown in skill
''Wanna climb? Just win more games than you lose'' Holy shit I never thought of it like that. 70% of the time there is the 1/9/2 person on the team and 95% of the time you lose that game. ''Win more than you lose'' that's very good advice thank you very much
Yeah, and the team expects you to do good after that, like sure i'll have a dunk off with a 7'11" tall Yone. "League of Legends is like a cruel game of basket ball, each basket makes you taller" - Neace
I don't really care about rank, all I want is to be crazy good on my one trick and I always find obscure/unknown tips in these videos. Plus, the math part was somehow really interesting. Looking forward for more of these !
Back in season 7 I went from a silver 2 player to platinum 1 almost diamond in less then 30 days just one tricking Thresh support & AD sion top. I can 100% vouch FOR THIS
How many Katarina and Zed mains have I seen while I was in Bronze/Silver that perma roam and are like "stfu I'm carrying I'm 10/5" and then have like 40-50 cs at 20 mins and then "I have low cs because I'm roaming so much". Like okay I get you don't know how the game works but don't try to excuse yourself because you got some kills.
The problem most players face is that, unlike their favorites streamers and youtubers, they don’t have time to play 10+ games a day. The lack of elo mobility makes it impossible to climb unless you play hundreds of games per season. And riot wants it like this. Instead of creating a ranked system that has integrity, they created a ranked system that require a massive amount of input to climb. The ranked system works but the lack of ranked mobility keeps players stuck in their same old rank unless they go from 2-3 games per day to 10+ People would filter out of the ranks they don’t belong in if riot made lp losses AND gains bigger. They will never do this, however, because riot wants its players to have to play as much as possible
You know if you played 3 games a day for a season you end the season with around 800 games played you dont need to play 10+ games a day to improve or even play hundreds of games a season.
@@Connordabro1v9 ur missing the point. Who has time to play 800 games a seeason? yea if ur a good little boy and you worship league, youll get your 3 ranked games in a day for a 365 days straight. But if your a normal person, good luck. if you have a job, good luck. if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, goodluck. If you travel or go on vacation ever, good luck. Do you see my point?
@@NoesKicker Nah dawg your missing my point you said it takes hundreds of games in a season to climb and im saying anyone can easily play hundreds of games a season playing just 5 games a week. Season 11 is ending soon and it lasted 44 weeks if you played 5 games a week which you dont have to be " a good little boy" to do you would have played 220 games. Tons of normal people every day dedicate a hour or two to something. Playing 1 game would probably be a investment of a hour to a hour 15 minutes MAX and if you dont have a hour to spare in a day you need to question how you living. You can climb over those 220 games the same way someone who plays a 1000 games a season would climb you might even climb better because you play less your more focused on the individual games and not auto piloting. Imo it sounds like you just suck at the game and blame not being able to put 1000 games in a season as the reason why when plenty of people climb to the ranks they want without spending 15+hours a day. I work from 4 AM - 2 PM as a residential electrician and go to the gym after and still play atleast 4 games a day mon-sat.
@@NoesKicker If you don't have time to play 3 ranked games a day why would you even care about your rank to begin with? Achieving the top 1% in anything takes a lot of time and dedication. Anyways i agree that riot doesen't want their game to be good but addicting instead, which they did a really good job with.
@@itsmimi115 Some days I do have time to play 3 ranked games, but definitely not every day. Do you think that the players that don't have as much free time don't deserve a competitive environment? If you play 10 games a day, the only advantage that should give you, in a true competitive environment, is more practice and experience. I still think that players that can only play on weekends or not as often should be put in the appropriate rank. According to skill, not time played. What I'm advocating is for a system that is skill based primarily, instead of the current system which is a hybrid of games played and skill. Another thing to consider is that the average age of league players is not as young as you might think. Most players have full time jobs. A system that is skill based alone would benefit not only the majority of players but also the most competitive players. These are just my opinions but you are right. Riot just wants an addicting game.
Theres one huge flaw, the assumption that each player gets and loses 20lp per game, the reality is around 10-15 per win, 12-17 per lose depending on elo or how bad or good you played. Having a game plan also in low elo is difficult to implement since having a positive early game will not directly get you the win, its the mid to late game you have no control over how much or little your team runs it down, afk, out of position or bad champ focus (multitude of reasons) etc. If you play on a new account well then you sacrifice your other champs and skins, so playing on your main will not always be achievable, hence why its only 1-2%, the other 98% will remain where they are until riot implements a hard 20+ and 20- depending on outcome, like copying legends of Runeterrra that does that and makes diamond alot easier. So TLDR, your routine will not work for 98% of viewers.
@@thedevourerofgods8192 I mean.... That what exactly is the logic of putting a "too long didn't read" phrase, in the end of the freaking thing?! You need to read it all in order to get to the "too long didn't read" part... So how did he used correctly my guy?
@@gigos2 because the TLDR is the last sentence, you're not gonna write TLDR and then continue it with a paragraph, it's at the end. However, it would be easier to notice it if it was separated from the paragraph.
the thing abt one tricking is legit true. im a high diamond-gm jgler and have nvr played a lane in 5years. started a challenge with tryn only now im in plat 1 after 3weeks playing in high diamond masters elo. really improved rapidly within my first 10 games i had gained a substantial amount of lane knowledge and rn now im playing well even into losing matchups cause im just more experienced in my champions. one trick is legit the way to gooo
I love these guides, especially now since I am just starting to take ranked and improving more seriously. quick question though, where could one get a playlist of the songs you use in the background of your videos? Much love and appreciation snowta.
Sorry to be that guy but this video is kinda "bad" - and here's why: - The math doesn't quite work that way. Even if you start with a 20 Lp win/loss, your gain will change drastically depending on where you are on the ladder after climbing. You may gain that much in silver (if you're lucky), but in G1? Unlikely - especially not with a 55-58% winrate. - The whole video is basically just "play ~2 comfort picks + grind" - which is something millions of hardstuck bronze-plat players are doing for years now, so no, that's not really a way - The video assumes that winning will just be as easy in higher elos as it is in low elo, which is also not true. Players in silver may not even reach that 55+% winrate and even if they do, they'll lose it again once they reach a higher standard. Of course, from there they can improve again, but it's not likely that this is all happening in one grind to diamond, it's a process that needs time (for most people). It will most likely end up being a grind --> stuck --> grind --> stuck --> grind --> stuck.
exactly, riot has even implemented a very harsh anti smurf adjustment which also applies to a non smurf that suddenly starts climbing, I have climbed from g3 to plat 2 in a month without really grinding that much, just winning most of my games and throughout the climb I realised that im being punished, I started to only gain 12-13lp in plat 3 by winning and losing takes away from 16-19lp, this lp gain starts to equalise once you remain in your elo for a bit and your mmr is even with your shown rank
yea because rank system is a great way to get players to play a game for thousands of hours. Most players will buy skins for the champions they play most because they justify the money by the amount of hours spent.
I am silver 3, 94 lp, and I'm not that consistent at playing because I don't have my own computer, but that won't stop me from reaching my dreams on becoming pro. thanks for this video :>
I know this is intended as kind of a joke, but if you are watching this video, that prolly means that you want to improve. In that case, wherever you are trying to climb to, whether it be plat, diamond or more, I genuinely believe in you and hope that you can do it. I know you can. You just have to know you can.
I climbed from bronze 4 to gold 4 in like 25 games then when i entered gold elo hell struck upon me, it was honestly more enjoyable to play in bronze then in gold elo.. im currently gold 2 0 lp and planing on staying there for the rest of the season, cuz if i derank to gold 3 one more time i swear im gonna break my pc...
I really want to emphasize the point of diamond not being some incredible rank you'll never get. Players there are humans too and not some gods of LoL, you can get there!
i have noticed that my LP constantly fluctuates lately. Like it'll only ever stay the same number for one or maybe even 2 games. But most importantly above all, I have noticed that EVEN IF I HAD A TERRIBLE 3-4 GAME LOSING STREAK, if i take a break for a couple of days and don't touch ranked, my LP gain shoots back up to +20. This actually just happened to me today and isn't the first time. If you ever get super tilted or have a hard loss streak just play with friends, practice in norms, and come back to ranked after a 2 day even 3 day --> (like what I did recently) break, and then go and get yourself 2 wins in a row of +20 LP and then just stop. stop playing. wait till tomorrow. you gained 40 LP in a single day and that's seriously so amazing.
Hardstuck s10 in plat 3 and now im diamond 2 with a 70% wr , and only because i started to use macro -i watched my replays -i watched replays of high elo games -i always question myself why i do something specific to understand it -And some other things
here`s a universal competitions realated fact that no one talks about that goes for any type of competetive thing: The lower tier league (in this case elo) you are in the more hardcore random skill gaps gonna be between each player ... Which means that low elo players are much more dependent on pure luck cuzz of those crazy random skill gaps while the high elo does not have to deal with that cuzz for example diamonds skill levels are extremly similar so in high elos whatever you win or lose depends mostly on skill while on low elos pure luck(if you not playing with premades all the time) is much more hardcore factor and influence matche`s flow with just your personal skills becomes much more difficult if you are not hardcore smurf or something.
This is the kind of thing losers say when they don't have a learning / improvement mentality. "I can't climb due to my teammates" "Games in low elo feel like random" Lots of players have done new account to 50 win / 0 lose streaks into Diamond or Master before. There's no luck involved in that, just skill and knowledge. If someone else can do it, anyone can do it to... they just need to learn the skills, and skills are not based on luck.
@@KurzedMetal like I said in a comment before,if you are hardcore smurf then yes, overhelming skills will make you ignore random skill gaps, but but for a wast majority of people that are in between of being crazy good or complete loser as you say randoms you get can easily drag you down even if you perform on point. I literally had more then one games where me as nunu jungler took 4 dragons, both bugs ,did a solo baron the sec it appeared and that still was not enough, oh and I do my first gangs at 2... If there was no crazy skill gaps like that, then doing just slightly better then enemy jungler on majority games should be enough to win majority games and therefore not be hard stuck lol...
@@lightartis228 if you truly and consistenly play "slighly better" than the average laner you get matched against then you'll climb slightly faster too, until you won't. also low elo players tend to say they played better than their opponent when in reality they just won early and then threw the game. Can't expect much out of mediocrity, if you absolutely need to climb 6 ranks in a week you either need to smurf that shit or get good fast, otherwise you just have to take it easy over the course of one or even multiple seasons like everyone else
Reaching diamond was my goal I peaked D3 and stayed there two seasons. I was flexing on friends then I lost interest. Now I play for fun. Aram is cool tbh my mentality almost broke in high plat-diamond elo. My time to retire and enjoy a game that meant to be unenjoyable.
After grinding using Heimerdinger I got around a 58% win rate. After I got a couple of win streaks and increased my win rate I started getting matched with people many leagues under me and that had no idea what they where doing. Junglers that completely ignored their smite, laners that believed that they could win a fight after losing one multiple times and the like. Which in turn made me go on a complete losing streak until it balanced out again. I checked Porofessor on matches after my best win streaks and I noticed that my teammates where either in some part of Iron, bronze or even unranked while the enemy team matched with people from Silver III up to Gold IV while I am only in Silver II. I think the game matches you with lesser and lesser ranked people depending on your recent positive achievements. I think that the "secret" would be to try to give kills as much as possible to not climb the invisible rank with your scores. Though I guess that winning the game overall does this as well. It seems that the matchmaking tries to get you to 50% win rate whatever you do which is completely bogus in a game that is team based and really reliant on what your teammates do as well.
I've been playing for a month and my positioning games I went 1 win 9 loss streak, I got screwed over by a bot lane who didn't know the difference from being a bad player and a bad person. Caitlyn mid running it down with 10 deaths and blaming the whole team for nothing while pulling random and retarded plays out their anal cavity.
In season 3 I broke out of low ELO, with the batch size games strategy. If I won my first game, que again. If I lost my first game, play norms. A big difference back then was, you couldn't select your two roles before que. So I just went fill. Had 2 champs for each lane. Didn't deviate from that. Didn't matter if they were meta or not, if I couldn't win with Orianna, I probably wasn't going to win otherwise.
Speaking as someone that's maintained (hard stuck) d4-d3 for 5 seasons, and have over 50 smurf accounts spread between bronze and diamond: 1. Yes, maintaining 55% win rate for 300 games, getting 20 lp per win and losing 20 lp per loss can get you from silver to diamond. However, the ability it takes to achieve 55% win rate in platinum 1 is much harder than achieving 80% win rate in silver 4. Additionally, league's MMR system drops ur MMR as you lose games. Speaking from experience of recent smurfs, an account starts off with maybe 40lp per win and 6 lp per loss. As you progress to about platinum, with about 70% overall win rate, your lp gain/loss changes to +14/-22 and you would need to either win streak to spike to diamond, or maintain a 60% win rate at platinum until your MMR slowly matches your rank and your lp gain/loss normalizes to +18/-18, this takes about 100 games. So no, achieving 55% in silver DOES NOT allow u to hit diamond. 2. Most changes in skill take time, but the actual change that makes a difference is DISCRETE AND SPONTANEOUS. I was stuck in bronze 2 for 500 games back in 2013, there are a lot of things i learned over that period like last hit better, ward more, none of that got me out of bronze 2. what got me out of bronze 2 within 20 games was realizing one day that E-max pantheon kills most mages from 60% health with just E. After that I hit gold 5 within about 100 games. 3. For an average person with an academic life or a day job, all you can commit on this game is maybe 3-4 hours a day. With this time commitment, you would need a strong resolve which usually source from very NEGATIVE emotions such as (personally) jealousy or superiority to actually get anywhere, because realistically, if you are more talented you wouldn't be stuck in silver anyway. See how many streamers and higher elo players have much stronger ego than average players and are much more easily offended, similar for real life elites such as entrepreneurs and politicians, essentially you need to think you are better to actually be better. A thought experiment is try to start the game and intentionally trash talk everyone in the game. By doing so, you would feel shameful if you end up losing or even dying once, which drives you to perform better. 4. Overall, there are beautiful things such as thinking "by doing this you can hit diamond" or "I will be rich one day", but in reality, what it takes to get there is far darker and probably much more difficult for an average person than you might think. Also, if at any point of reading this you think "I don't want to do this because I'm a more decent human being than this", you are part of the reason why elites stand miles above you.
I was Bronze 3 last week with only +11-14LP per gain and -16LP per loss. I climbed from B3 with 43LP to S3 with 50 LP. Climbing is doable guys. My Lp is still decreasing as I climb, however it hasn’t stopped me from having an +70% wr in the past 100 games. Keep your head up!
I cant see any differences beetween Bronze and silver icl im actually gold 2 i have 53% wr i feel like its my peak elo and once i left the bronze elo i just played till i get gold and it wasnt that hard, the amount of bad players and inters are the same if the bad player is on your team just try to make good calls to carry him if its just not winnable because the diff is too high then accept the fact that some people are just tilted or bad (yh its low elo)and go next and dont be tilted because you cant win everygame focus on yourself and NEVER flame your teammates it just bring a bad atmosphere at the game
If you have a 70% winrate over 100games and you're silver thats when you need to realize league is a rigged pile of shit. In any other game that winrate would have you in diamond and up
I play league since 2013 and I finally hit master 15 lp today after all those games all those masters promos fail I can’t even count how many i fail my promos to master i was about yo quit. I can finally say im a master player and ending my run in League was a fun game.
No matter how hard you try at the end of the day of the other landers in your team will go 0-8 against their matchup and end up destroying the chances for the whole team
Hey Snowta. Thank you, with your help i finally managed to hit Diamond in my first season of league of legends. i started playing 7 months ago and found your channel 4 months ago, and it helped me to achieve this unexpected dream (◕▿◕✿)
@@Snowta I mean no disrespect but saying that silver 2 players can go to diamond by just playing the games is an absolute crook. I am gold 4. I otp lux in mid and also play talon and when I need to, I can have 60 proc+ win rate in low silver to gold. I also used to play on friend acc with plat 2 elo and MMR to practice play with and vs better players, I feel like the most useless noob in every single of those games with 40 proc wr only wining bc of the team. declimbing back to gold :D more games are not enough u have to be fundamentally better than mmr u are right now and that involves some hardcore time investment. yes maybe for someone who play league for years and are capable of playing in diamond mmr it is just a question of how many games and how hard you try.
4:00 "If we assume that you gain 20 LP per win and lose 20 LP per loss" That's where it all breaks down. More like 13 for a win and 17 for a loss. That requires a 17/30 ~= 56.6% win rate just to stay where you are. Climbing from Silver II to Diamond IV, a difference of 1000 LP, would require 77 wins at 13 LP over and beyond a 56.6% win rate. In 500 games, that's 77 + (500 - 77) * 0.566 = 317 wins and 183 losses, for an overall win rate of 63.4%.
To be honest I am an apex legends predator , and valorant radiant , but when it comes to league I can't surpass gold it super hare to win special I am always with a team who don't know how to play so the game is really hard no matter what
This only works when you get rid of the MMR influence of point gain. When they changed to fixed gain / loss based on division / tier then yes 50 games but a lot of people are losing more than they gain
I lose more than I gain and it's really pissing me off. I rarely play ranked at all, I play better than half of my friends (most of whom are Gold or higher), but for the life of me I can not get out of low Silver because of the point system. I gain like, 10 LP most times, and other times I'm put on THE most dogshit teams ever, losing 19 LP per game. I main support so it's not like I can carry this shit. It's total crap.
I’m a Pyke main just got up to gold today before the season ends and with this math u used at the end, getting plat and above seems pretty obtaineable, thx bro!
I went 5.2 kda, destroyed my laner and still lose, ok another game, My jungler is a troll, Ok another game, bot fed, ok another game, irelia being irelia, fucking hell
@Brandyn the last thing you said is what I’m about to start doing I’m a loss main this whole season but I started playing league in season 2 and came back in s10 so back in the day all I played was Annie. I recently started playing Annie and it’s so easy to carry games. Predator plus rocket belt starting with a dark seal is easy lp on Annie.
for a silver to get a 55% win rate in silver is pretty attainable, but for a silver to maintain that win rate all the way to diamond is something else...
I'm at 100 % wr in my last 12 games, went from S3 to S1 in one day, also went from g4 to g3 in flex while playing vs high gold/ Plat and sometimes even diamond players XD If you want to have a look Ign: BigS3xMatolf
The MMR is the biggest issue, ive gone from + 17 lp and -15 in a 15 ranked game winning streak, as soon as i unfortunately lost 5 games in a row then 2 more ive been stuck with -17 and +14 lp. i was still 67% wr in the jungle, now it just doesnt seem worth it even after 3 winning games im still getting only 14, what's the point?
Excellent video! I actually don't have trouble climbing, because I only do placements + w/e I need to get gold but this is solid advice that I try to give but people don't believe because I'm not Chalenjour lol. Only thing I would add is simplicity in that Champ pool. If you haven't mastered the game, maybe not play Shaco. I went ez mode this year. Played 8 games of Malphite and won all of them. (Also played my first game of Vex and won but that's not likely for most). I think it was two years ago Maokai was my pick so that's funny to see again xD. Adding some "suggestions" would make this list perfect! Will be saving and sending this to my Silver/Bronze stuck friends!
This year I got to diamond for the first time. After being gold for years. And I can tell that this video is legit cuz I unintentionally did most of the tips here. I've always been a 1-2 Champs player but This year I discovered zwag xerath who's a high elo player that his videos not only entertaining are very informative because he is always sharing his train of thought from minion control to why the builds, not rushing to sell the initial items. And not waisting on red wards unless you are support, how and when to roam when you are pushed. He is always explaining how and why he does everything and almost by accident I got to diamond. and just after I realized it was because of those small changes on playstyle and state of mind.
I was G4 . 51% w/r . +12/13 -16/18 . Won idk how many games in a row to Gold 1 50 LP in like 5 days. Started to get team mates getting smashed enemys going 18/2 15th minute. Sometimes trolls like teemo jng sometimes afk, but all that going on 10-20 lose streak back to G4. And then again idk 30 wins in a row to Gold 1 50 LP and repeat back to Gold 4. My thought ? Fck that +13 LP and trolls. My highest ever acc was Master s8. Stopped playing fot a year but got back on track on new acc. Allways was easy for me to get to Plat 4 - 1 . This season ? Cant get out od Gold with 400 games IN it.
i had 55% wr last season (for a while over 65% even) and got stuck in silver bc i got 7 or 11 lp for win and lost 17 lp. i played w duo, i was in silver2 still when his acc got to plat promos in gold1, twice. it was infuriating and fkn unreal, eventually i started to just spam games and got wr more down but still 55%+. i only played few champs, basically only two and we usually won the lane (bot duo). this season we only played like 17 ranked games and we have one full div difference already xd tho at least so far i'm getting 20-24 lp for wins
But: The higher you climb, games getting more difficult because other people are better as well? So maintaining a 55% WR will get harder the higher you rank up. Am i wrong on this?
obviously that is true. games will get harder as you rank up. I think the point of that section was more to put the climb into perspective. I am a silver 2 player that eventually wants to hit diamond, but it seems like a very daunting task... because it is. Hearing Snowta say that I only need to win 50 more games than I lose is quite inspiring for me and definitely makes it seem a little easier and more inspiring to actually climb. Those are just my thoughts on it though
All of these would work perfectly in an utopic scenario where the company is basically not fucked up and respect their fanbase. 1.You are only getting 13-15lp and lose 15-17. 2.There is no longer the 0lp ''pillow''. Once you lose at 0 lp you are getting demoted at 75lp meaning that you need again 2 victories. 3.Your mmr is way easier to get ruined than fixed. Well sometimes it's not you that is problem, it's your team. Let's say you're a fed top laner but your bot and mid was defeated and since bot and mid was lost, the jungler now has a harder time playing and will be behind because he cannot roam easily anymore.
The problem with soloqing and ranking up in elo hell is that you have to be a lot better than the rank you are currently at, which is a result of either smurfing or just purely grinding literally thousands of hours in the game. In the end both requires you loose your social life and braincells for learning at school. So either get a full team or be prepared to devote your life to League if you want to rank up.
I am slowly climbing to gold if i win a game and gain a reasonable amount of LP i stop playing rank and practice in normals. i dont want to lose LP and int, I was so close to gold and I was silver 1 86 LP i had a 16 Game Lose-Streak demoted to Silver 2 and now i climbed slowly i am now silver 2 90 LP. (P.S i lose more games when i demoted to silver 2 i had 3 LP when my lose-streak ended.)
3 simple steps to get gold fast 1. Buy a level 30 account from ebay. They're super cheap, and legit. I dunno if I'd link a credit card to the account, but none of these ones I've bought have been reclaimed. 2. Play only your best champion in your best role. If you're stomping, push the stomp. If you're losing, just play for team, but whatever you do, don't feed. 3. CLIMB. Accounts use some normal mmr when first putting you into ranked. Since this was a bought account, it was originally played on by a plat+ kid that stomped all his normal games until level 30. Because of this, your LP gains will be MASSIVE during your promos and the first 50 games of your ranked climb. If you are legitimately good enough to get to gold, you will GLIDE. You'll never lose lane during your placements, if you are gold level player. If you place in Silver, your LP gains will be very high, and your team will carry you to wins if anything. 25+ gains, -7 losses I'm talking about. Eventually RIOT will think you are a smurf and put you versus high gold/platinum players, and you will lose games until you fall down to Gold 4. But who cares?! You reached gold.
Im gonna be honest with you, I climbed from bronce 4 to gold 3 in like 2 weeks and I felt great but then Riot said “fuck you” and sent me trough a loop of misery. It took me 3 matches to climb back to Gold 3 and took me 2 to be demoted. Games that where lost already at champ select bc the mid saw a video of Ap (insert champ here) mid and wanted to try it, games where an “smurf” was ganked at lvl 2 by a Nunu and decided to run it down while saying slurs to everyone on the team, games where I hard carry just to read a mf saying “you don’t deserve win” and start to run it down while revealing for the 25 minutes of the match the positions of all our team on /all and many MANY MORE. Dude climbing it’s all about mental strength, yeah you can spam the most broken shit but even those champs needs some help sometimes. What you truly need is to harden your mind cuz the type of people you will have as allies or enemies could make the match the most pathetic and uncomfortable experience achievable lmao
Yooo. I was G4 last season was hard stuck. I hated it. I had been mainning Camille for some years already. I went from conqueror to grasp. The following 57 games was only 5 losses with 46 of them being grasp Camille, some fiora and some kayle. I finished diamond 3 last season because i didn't want to be gold anymore and now I'm good. And it was actually in 31 days. My MMR got So good that i gained like 22-23 and lost 15-16 lp. I know this is a bit unusual but, if you pick yourself up get some action going on the map in all stages of the game. Get some outplays and some good picks. Diamond is attainable for you. Just die less and you will see how the streamers and the pros can farm so much more than you can because they play with good wave management. Have your game to be more intentional and play more proactively, then you will wiew this game so much more different than just going to lane and ping ponging the wave and being randomly killed without something big happens.
Something is off with the math. There's a player on NA, zaun jg, who is currently Bronze 2 with a 53% win rate and 280 games played, for a 14 game win differential. They have never played a game this season outside of the Bronze 2 or Bronze 1 rank, but that win differential should be enough to elevate them nearly 3 ranks.
cool inspirational video and all, However, You seem to forget that as you go up, the games get harder, you might need 55-60% winrate to start going up but that winrate will never stay the same on the grind and it will start going below 50. and thats going to happen almost instantly. Someone that was silver just 10 days ago wont be able to suddenly just start beating diamond/plats or even golds
he also calculated with 20 lp gain and loss.... riot doesnt do that, u see i currently have a g 1 acc with a 51% wr (i was dumb and played off role with a mate just so we could play together, we had a 40% wr and mine tanked) it gets +13 - 17... i also however have a new acc, it gets +18 - 19 in p2 with a 50.6% wr, so on one hand riot believes im a p2, and or p3 so it gives me less to slowly "recalibrate" me to my "acutal rank" of p3, but somehow also thinks im a idk g3? since its giving me -17 +13, so its "recalibrating" my rank to my "acutal" rank of like i guess g3. idk seems they have too much finichy calibration algorithms in it for no reason. should be win +20, loss -20, wr > 55% skip promos, clearly not their skill level, etc. that way going on a 3 game loss streak becuase of a mix of your own tilt, and getting tilted allies, doesnt punish u by mmr lossing you to suddenly lose more lp than u gain
@@elementalgolem5498 You know riot doesn't personally know you? it doesn't matter what rank your main is. If you lose to g3 players the game is gonna think your gold 3.

This is a fact ^ I swear the amount of smurfs between gold and platinum is absurd, you either get ridiculously gapped in your role by a player who is diamond plus abusing a busted champ or they are on a smurf account and they use your ranked match as practice tool and just int and troll away, it’s so ridiculous.
How to climb as a midlaner. 1. Play with a jg that plays reksai or something that can gank lv3. 2. Play early-mid game carry that can snowball hard. 3. Don't play adc. 4. Don't play sup. 5. If feeling laning is difficult (somewhere from gold, the enemy mid will become somehow not that braindead in lane) strat to learn the favorite champ used untill now and start learning about it. 6. Learn how to snow ball.( don't just win because you are using a snowball champ and getting advantage every single game because you are getting a kill lv3) don't be a brain dead just randomly plays and hope getting head on a coin flip.
So secondary choices would be top. Its the same on mid or top, which your jg can gank lv3..... and don't ever play bot lane. Its hard to snowball, hard to solokill, hard to carry because everyone (including support sometimes) can oneshot you.
Ok, I'm going to give this a shot. I'm 🥈 34LP. I've never been gold, and I've been playing since the end of season 1. The highest I've ever been is silver 1 8LP as a support main. I'm playing mid this season, I'm going to lock in my 2 champs as Quinn and lissandra. I'll report back in 30 days and tell you how it went. See you on 7/15/22. EDIT! V It's 7/16/22 I'm now silver 3 53LP. The highest I made it was silver 2 70LP. I played 58 ranked games in a month (I have to work too ya know). I actually switched Lissandra out for Lux after every normal game I've played with Lissandra just ended up with me useless or the epitome of the "I'm helping" meme. out of those 58 games 25 I won, 33 I lost, gaining and losing about 14-16 per game I que up as mid/supp. This puts me at a 43% WR for the month. I was a 47% when I started, it's now 44.7% for the season. Mid Quinn 22/30 Mid Lux 1/0 Support Lux 0/3 Support Pyke 1/0 (a duo friend asked me to do it with him because he was playing swain and wanted the double pull lane) Top malphite 1/0 ( someone asked to switch mid, went Yasuo and asked for knock ups, they ended up being incredibly mean) A masters friend of mine is going to help me review my champion selection for mid and make better choices, he doesn't think quinn has the agency in midlane and that I'm giving myself a disadvantage even though it's my best champion by far. Things I've learned -Quinn can't play the game vs Akshan or Azir -Better mechanics for my favorite champion -The value of vision (especially against Zac jungle, HOW DO YOU WARD VS THIS GUY?!?! THE GAME WON'T LET ME PUT ENOUGH WARDS DOWN!!!) I don't really know what else to say, I really thought maybe I could get to gold. Also don't say "iT's BeCaUsE yOu'Re PlAyInG qUiNn". You know good and damn well that faker could play Yummi mid on a smurf and make it to gold before he left his promos. Sorry snowta, I let you down.
My issue is that I can only do well on champs when I’m having fun on but I lose interest in 10 games then build options is limited due to how riot made new items

a lot of good advices, but the thing is you don't need a 60 wr in 500 games, you need around 70% to get to dia usually, becouse the mmr is broken and doesn't work properly, also mmr doesnt reset on season, only ranked does and if for an example you were plat before the season end and you drop to gold, when season starts you will be considered gold for the last season
What if you're good enough to win your lane but most of the time your teammates just run it down especially that the role you play isn't that much of a solo carry.

I made it to gold for one day at my peak. I’ll be there again some day.
=)))))))
i used to be gold and now im iron as well
no
not anyone
here is why (i am diamond and have been 9 seasons)
it takes time (not everyone has the free time to practice properly and consistently) it takes usually 300-400 games to get to diamond with 55% win rate this is a massive consistency and requires massive improvement throughout the process.
Now staying diamond is also a pain since there is decay
I hit diamond this season and decayd and i don't have any desire to get back to diamond. This means that in OPGG i will be a hardstuck plat 1 player
this will fuel the flame aspect from the enemies. Keeping the rank is also not something many want to invest in.
The moment you stop playing your understanding of the meta dwindles. You getting back for few games in a month to not decay often means you losing those games which means that if you got diamond at the beginning fo the season and said "i don't want to anymore" that you will eventually demote from losses instead of decay
I get that this is a video that tries to inspire those that are grinding
but people who have played 1000 games in silver have no concept of improvement.
You can tell them and hold their hands until they reach diamond and they will but once you take off the training wheels they will return to the elo they started from
this is in a way boosting
these people can't play at a higher level
It's like fat people being forced to stay on a diet and a workout program
they lose the weight but once the sociatal pressure comes off they gain the weight right back up
I also get that you are doing this for click/views/money but people need to understand that unless you actually want to get to diamond you won't be diamond
You can purchase the rank but you won't be diamond
and this is something every diamond player has to go through to get to masters
we have to fight through the most insane coin flips because of people that purchase their ranks
So please
instead of teaching tips and tricks on how to abuse certain cases
teach people how to develop, learn and adapt
And players who refuse to be carried because they want to carry themselves, probably the worst out of them all
This comment deserves major upvotes! Spot on
As someone who's been into economics, getting to diamond sounds like a F- investment option, that yields no return other than loss of mental health.

The ranked system works but the lack of ranked mobility keeps players stuck in their same old rank unless they go from 2-3 games per day to 10+
People would filter out of the ranks they don’t belong in if riot made lp losses AND gains bigger.

Cool. So 5-6 hours a day. Lemme just quit my job real quick.
Sorry to be that guy but this video is kinda "bad" - and here's why:
- The math doesn't quite work that way. Even if you start with a 20 Lp win/loss, your gain will change drastically depending on where you are on the ladder after climbing.
You may gain that much in silver (if you're lucky), but in G1? Unlikely - especially not with a 55-58% winrate.
- The whole video is basically just "play ~2 comfort picks + grind" - which is something millions of hardstuck bronze-plat players are doing for years now, so no, that's not really a way
- The video assumes that winning will just be as easy in higher elos as it is in low elo, which is also not true.

I climbed from bronze 4 to gold 4 in like 25 games then when i entered gold elo hell struck upon me, it was honestly more enjoyable to play in bronze then in gold elo.. im currently gold 2 0 lp and planing on staying there for the rest of the season, cuz if i derank to gold 3 one more time i swear im gonna break my pc...

yo dude. this is such an awesome video. so nice tbh. im currently plat 3 and im aiming for diamond for the first time in my life. wish me luck!
How is it going?
Did you make it?
i have noticed that my LP constantly fluctuates lately. If you ever get super tilted or have a hard loss streak just play with friends, practice in norms, and come back to ranked after a 2 day even 3 day --> (like what I did recently) break, and then go and get yourself 2 wins in a row of +20 LP and then just stop. stop playing. wait till tomorrow. you gained 40 LP in a single day and that's seriously so amazing.

here`s a universal competitions realated fact that no one talks about that goes for any type of competetive thing:
The lower tier league (in this case elo) you are in the more hardcore random skill gaps gonna be between each player ...
"I can't climb due to my teammates" "Games in low elo feel like random"
Lots of players have done new account to 50 win / 0 lose streaks into Diamond or Master before.
Speaking as someone that's maintained (hard stuck) d4-d3 for 5 seasons, and have over 50 smurf accounts spread between bronze and diamond:
Can you go into more detail? What lane? What champs? How much did you play?
In any other game that winrate would have you in diamond and up
Solid content bro, 10/10 will recommend to others. Appreciate the work and keep it up my guy

4:00 "If we assume that you gain 20 LP per win and lose 20 LP per loss"
That's where it all breaks down. In 500 games, that's 77 + (500 - 77) * 0.566 = 317 wins and 183 losses, for an overall win rate of 63.4%.
yesterday i was in my promo to plat, and in my last game i was against 2 diamonds and 3 plats, and my team was 1 silver, 3 gold and a platinum

This video has some really good tips. Im already master but i can maybe use some of these when going for challenger. Thanks!

You can make a streak of wins and see almost 0 improvement while with a streak of defeats your account can be rigged.
4.Matchmaking pog
Well sometimes it's not you that is problem, it's your team. Let's say you're a fed top laner but your bot and mid was defeated and since bot and mid was lost, the jungler now has a harder time playing and will be behind because he cannot roam easily anymore.
The problem with soloqing and ranking up in elo hell is that you have to be a lot better than the rank you are currently at, which is a result of either smurfing or just purely grinding literally thousands of hours in the game. In the end both requires you loose your social life and braincells for learning at school. So either get a full team or be prepared to devote your life to League if you want to rank up.
should i do it on another account if i get +16 and -20?
I am slowly climbing to gold if i win a game and gain a reasonable amount of LP i stop playing rank and practice in normals. i dont want to lose LP and int, I was so close to gold and I was silver 1 86 LP i had a 16 Game Lose-Streak demoted to Silver 2 and now i climbed slowly i am now silver 2 90 LP.
(P.S i lose more games when i demoted to silver 2 i had 3 LP when my lose-streak ended.)
3 simple steps to get gold fast
I'm stuck at Bronze because of unknowledgeable teammates.
Thats not the deal mate. If you are a diamond material player u can carry bronze games easy most of the times
Pretty much this is what helped me grow in Valorant.
"we assume that you gain 20 lp per win and lose 20 lp per loss"
Man I would love this kind of gain
Im gonna try this strat starting today. I’ll let you guys know if i make it to diamond or not in 30days.
i did all of that, but i m a support main and get noob teams ALL THE TIME. from slive 2 I dropped to bronze 4 :) I think I should learn another lane.

On which skills does Yasuo windwall works on? Does it work on Fiddle Q (it does not surprisingly) or on Hecarim ult(it does surprisingly)? Heimer can solo nash at min 20.
-Intuition: when is a good time to go in. Can you outplay an opponent that is about to dive you? Where will the wave be when the enemy jungler has his lvl 3. Can my jungler countergank or will we loose 2v2. What is our winning condition. How do i recover from a hard lane. When is the right time to push and when to do objectives.
-Counterpicking
-Wave management
-Gameplan: Will you win teamfights? Is it worth the risk? Can i plitpush or will my team die to their heavy engage?
-Matchup knowledge (at least for the champion you play)
-Vision management (buy pinkwards)
-Using the vision (look at the map!!!)
-Which summonerspell is good? Cleanse vs Veigar, Exhaust vs Zed, Ignite vs Mundo, ff15 against Darius.

@@apmaz6112 i had a 6 game streak with either a lvl 30 smurf as enemy or an afk in my team, then i stopped playing for a month and now i only play normals, and im 100% serious
wait you get 16?
This is a fact ^ I swear the amount of smurfs between gold and platinum is absurd, you either get ridiculously gapped in your role by a player who is diamond plus abusing a busted champ or they are on a smurf account and they use your ranked match as practice tool and just int and troll away, it’s so ridiculous.
Actually solid advice!
@Snowta Bro tell us how to win game with adc 1-8 mid 0-9 and jg 0 4 in 10min of game?
Ok, I'm going to give this a shot. I'm 🥈 34LP. I've never been gold, and I've been playing since the end of season 1. The highest I've ever been is silver 1 8LP as a support main. I'm playing mid this season, I'm going to lock in my 2 champs as Quinn and lissandra. I'll report back in 30 days and tell you how it went. See you on 7/15/22. EDIT! V
It's 7/16/22
I'm now silver 3 53LP.
Mid Quinn 22/30
Mid Lux 1/0
Support Lux 0/3
Support Pyke 1/0 (a duo friend asked me to do it with him because he was playing swain and wanted the double pull lane)
Top malphite 1/0 ( someone asked to switch mid, went Yasuo and asked for knock ups, they ended up being incredibly mean)
A masters friend of mine is going to help me review my champion selection for mid and make better choices, he doesn't think quinn has the agency in midlane and that I'm giving myself a disadvantage even though it's my best champion by far.
Things I've learned
-Quinn can't play the game vs Akshan or Azir
-Better mechanics for my favorite champion
-The value of vision (especially against Zac jungle, HOW DO YOU WARD VS THIS GUY?!?! THE GAME WON'T LET ME PUT ENOUGH WARDS DOWN!!!)
I don't really know what else to say, I really thought maybe I could get to gold. Also don't say "iT's BeCaUsE yOu'Re PlAyInG qUiNn". You know good and damn well that faker could play Yummi mid on a smurf and make it to gold before he left his promos.
Sorry snowta, I let you down.
How is it going so far?
@@william.l2638 I'm going to write a report on the 16th in the comments. Thanks for asking 🙂
7 days until season resets, currently Gold 2 72lp. My goal is just to be platinum. Hope i achieve it ill tell results here in 7 days. Wish me luck..
I've actually solo killed a diamond player before. I did get destroyed afterwards, but it's still an accomplishment.
My biggest problem is role and champion swapping. I can’t choose what I want to main
My issue is that I can only do well on champs when I’m having fun on but I lose interest in 10 games then build options is limited due to how riot made new items
5:00 bahahaha that vlad is fuckin FUMING.
I have a 58 percent win rate in silver 1, is that decent ? I know once I get to the higher elos my win rate will probably drop ?
I dont have much time for League (5-12 matches/week) (TOP) any suggestions?

yeah the problem is i just can't decide on what champion to one-trick cuz i get bored easily
Aram as warmup is best tbh, it teaches you teamfighting
I get it all the plan is 100% helpfull but do you have a tip for dumb team mates....that is the reason why im S4...I hate every team i have and they play ranked and don't even try to win and i get Tilted because of that so im getting no where....Advice?
a lot of good advices, but the thing is you don't need a 60 wr in 500 games, you need around 70% to get to dia usually, becouse the mmr is broken and doesn't work properly, also mmr doesnt reset on season, only ranked does and if for an example you were plat before the season end and you drop to gold, when season starts you will be considered gold for the last season
What if you're good enough to win your lane but most of the time your teammates just run it down especially that the role you play isn't that much of a solo carry.
I’m plat 4 60% wr 200 games and i only get like 13-15 per win on average and lose 14-17 per loss. Any help on how to fix this and climb?
