    Great review video!
David Mamet's 'True & False' is my favorite book on acting. I have read it once every year for the past 15 years of my acting career. Mamet's book has helped me have the confidence that I am competitively competent as a 4th wall performer. I am a poor, working class, blue collar, kind of guy - so I really connect with Mamet's work. I could barely afford my dumb college degree, and I hated the mostly impractical, cult-like, pretentious, philosophizing of my academia experience. Mamet's 'True & False' book was practical and it really helped me. And yes, whenever it did piss me off, it really did remind me that in real life, you always gotta be your own motivation for success. You cannot expect other people to motivate you...which is funny because in a scene - it's the opposite. But yes - I love the book.
