If you’re looking to try a new spice, try this with tajin! A lot of the same flavors but with some chilies too, and common on elotes mexicanos. It’s delish (and I’m quite sure it’s vegan!)
My biggest problem with vegan food is the comparison to meat products. Its corn and I bet its amazing. But OF COURSE it is not a rib. And I think this should be ok? Because food comes in all shapes ♥️
That's my issue too. For ppl who claim they don't want/like meat, they spend more time thinking about meat/trying to substitute meat than meat eaters do.

Personally, I don't think of trying to replicate meat with any of my meals. But I do sometimes want an item that slots into the kind of dish or overall flavor profile of something I used to like with animal products in it, though, and for that, replacements are very useful. What else am I supposed to call a black bean disk on a hamburger bun besides a veggie burger? With a little bit of cob still on each section of corn, these look like (haven't made them yet) they eat like ribs. Of course they don't taste like them, they're plants. Just my two cents.

Comparison is how you effectivelly explain flavours, it doen't necessarily mean that because it's vegan it can't replicate it. Most vegans go vegan for a cause and not because they dislike meat.

I tryed it last weekend. Really nice and an awesome alternative. But im sorry, real ribs are so nuch better. Probably Impossible to get something half as good in vegan.

Non a vegan, but HECK YES!!! I LOVE corn ribs. I make mine with dried ranch dressing as the marinade. I also love making them with just the classic butter and salt.
REAL ribs. Dont get me wrong, corn on the cob is delicious but will never compare to a slow smoked, fall off the bone rack of ribs dripping in its own fat with that pink smoke ring on the outer edge of the meat.

Personally I would recommend substituting Lebanese toum out for the vegan mayo, it's vegan, as well as being packed with garlic! It's neutral oil + salt, lemon juice, and garlic, and blended until it emulsifies like mayo

Real ribs are nasty. There’s just no way to get the membrane completely off. They’re tough and chewy because of it.
