Request to author: Great video! We would like to use it in our school's gym class. But unfortunately, it is categorized as "gaming", which actually refers to "computer gaming", which is a blocked category in our school. If you can recategorize it under "Sports", it will not be blocked and we can use it. Thanks!
fouls are given if careless, not just if reckless or with excessive force. if reckless, the foul is given with a caution (yellow card). and if with excessive force, a send off (red card)
The descriptions; careless, reckless, or with excessive force, determine if and what kind of a card is given for the foul. They are all fouls even if done carelessly. If it’s reckless, Blair is cautioned. If it’s with excessive force, players sent off. That’s how the “Laws of the Game” are written.
problem is "excessive force" is up to interpretation, as someone just starting, I have no clue how much force is excessive and I get pushed by bigger players and they tell me it's permitted .. which I find a bit ridiculous .. some are almost twice my weight, it's not like I'm going to push them ... I'm playing soccer, not rugby or american football
It’s going really good! Thanks for asking. I started with little kids just to see how everything works. So far it’s been fun! How as you’re 2 years been as a referee?
What will happen if a player kicks to the opponent goal post for the indirect free kick (for off side) and it directly without touching his teammate and the opponent goal keeper...Is it a yellow card for the kicker or not...
If I understand you correctly, in an indirect free kick 2 separate players before the ball goes into the back of the net. An indirect free kick is normally a roll from one player for the 2nd player to kick the ball thus it is indirect. However, if the 1st player takes a direct kick at goal on an indirect free kick then a free kick is awarded to the other team.
@@madjad22 if the keeper stops the ball and is holding it in his hands can he continue the play by himself by putting the ball in his feet instead of throwing/passing it to a teammate or is it mandatory to only pass/throw the ball to another player?
This video is inaccurate in how to determine if the level of a specific action is a foul. It's reasonably accurate in describing the actual foul. As stated by others, fouls are careless, reckless (yellow card) or excessive force (red card). It's only an IFK for the keeper IF the handling is in the penalty area. If it is outside the penalty area (and of course it can be) it's a DFK,.
Spitting on someone? I can assure you, if you walk upto another player and spit in their face, you will be booked. You will also be arrested for assault so yea, spitting at an opponent will get you booked.
I remember when I was playing keeper I went to grab the ball and once I grabbed it the person who was bout to shoot they stomped on my arm twice. They broke my arm
Calling Football *Scoccer* is the biggest foul.
Loll ryt
Scoccer?
@@nunyabisnuss3746 that's such a stupid foul i cant even spell that shit.
True
then what should we (americans) call, what we consider to be, football?

Nice explanation with the yellow cards, though I notice some could result in red cards.
I love learning about soccer

01:06 in a 1v1 with a keeper after I got a through ball I used this and scored without touching the keeper, does it count
Wait so I cant try to murder and cheat in this game hm makes sense lol
Lol
Ramos doesn't unserstand
After watching the world cup this year soccer is more subjective in its fouls than basketball.

1:16 there is absolutely no rule in the FIFA Laws of the Game that talks about touching the ball first. This is a common misconception.
POV you have a soccer test tomorrow so you are watching this video on repeat
Lmao that's me now
A+
And the same situation it enters the goal post by touching the opponent goalkeeper...Is it a goal or not
no it's not a goal
I can finally tell the other teem fowl for standing in front of the goal
u missed a point.
if a player tries to score a goal after the ref signals offside is an yellow card
not really sometimes players can’t hear because they’re too focus on the game
If it’s egregious a referee may consider it dissent. If so, a cation is warranted.
Fun Fact: "Foul" has the same pronunciation as "Fowl" but have different meanings. (Read as *faʊl* according to IPA)
No the biggest foul is calling the sport “soccer” instead of football 😐😒
It’s an American video made for American refs. We kinda have to call it soccer here ‘cause some ass took the name “football”.

I LIKE IT
Bro I remember I was keeper and someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled it and they scored from it and ref didn’t call
Bro if we push goalkeeper into the post after saving is a foul
Pls clear my doubt that in direct foul which card is use red or yellow.
It depends. A straight red is given for serious foul play. A foull is not necessarily a card of either colour.
There are way more fouls that result in an indirect free kick.
Offside, playing the ball twice from a set play.
@ many many more. 20+.
The biggest foul in the game is calling football soccer
Looks like the English, who invented the game (and the word soccer), were fouling for the 120 years they called it soccer for then eh?
@@blackfalcon1324 they are not fouling anymore
It's almost like an American made the video. Wow crazy 🤯

It's not soccer. It's FOOTBALL. Not that Handegg.
Stype is that you?
this one player got a red card for say the no no words at me
🤯
Not a very good video. This video makes it seem like you only get yellow cards for indirect fouls.
