Hello Sam, I think it's just too much sun on the Serissa, they like morning and evening sun, the mid day sun is a bit too much for them. Once you get a really good developed root system, they can handle more light.
Proud of ya Sam for dealing with the impossible and coming out the other side functioning and getting back your energy for things you love to do. Good on ya buddy it’s pleasing to see 👍
These vids at the end of winter are really cool! Your scheduling for these things is pretty bang on every year mate! Great to look forward to this stuff every yr! 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Just found your channel and I am amazed at all your yamadori trees! I can't wait to see them when they are all in full show. Plus many trees I have never heard of up here in North America. Thanks!!
A catch up with old friends!! I was wondering about the boxthorn the other day when I pruned my Chinese quince - those are enough thorns for me . . . Good to see the Red gums again, too.
Great video Sam, it's always good to see other peoples collections and even their weeds, we all have them lets face it. You really do have some magnificent trees there, thanks for showing us around and beyond the shed. Cheers TJ
Your large olive at the end of the video is easily the best I've ever seen. You should enter it into every show possible Sam. An award winner for sure!
Thanks for the tour Sam, great collection natives. Im going to my 1st native bonsai exhibition this weekend in Parkville Melbourne and can't wait. You have inspired me 😊 love your dogs 🐕
Thanks for the tour Sam. How long do you leave your olives in the big pot after digging them before you would think about putting into a smaller bonsai pot? I have a few nice ones that I think have been about 18 months, all growing strongly but don’t want to move them too early.
@@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke I'm just kidding, really. your natives/ deciduous are outstanding! I'm grateful for all the content you have made over the years
Your red pine is gorgeous, Your olives are amazing. I bought one for $80.00 and it’s pathetic! But the poor thing is stuck indoors for six months so I should be grateful that it still has leaves. Your benches still look great and the prunous still looks wonderful. Take care Sam, you are always in my thoughts.

Thanks for taking the time Sam to show us around. Stunning collection which shows off your skill and experience!!
Those pots you have Seth and your olives in are awesome!! I can see him telling you not to chop stuff so hard.
Awesome! So far I'm still very keen on your soil mix. Love your innovations.
Cheers Sam - I've been waiting for this bench tour for some time now. looking forward to seeing more great stuff from you :)

Wow have fun. I really wanted to go and almost did. I am part of their club online. Soo many talented people in one club 💙
That's a tremendous collection, there must be years and years of work to get there. I hope you will go over this hard times and find your motivation🌱
Thankyou
It is nice that your daughters tree survived the frost. Fall just around the corner for us.
Enjoy the rest Tom
That ash should bust out soon mate. My collected has just started in the last couple of days.
Awesome stuff.
👍👌🙂
Sooper Noice!
I've got a DJI drone and it is unbelievable their technology with the gimbal for filming. You are fortunate to have fantastic furry friends like that.
They make great products. Yeh they sure are adorable 😍

YOU HAVE THE BEST OLIVES ON TH-cam SAMMY , GOOD ON YOU !

A good year in the pot
Giant quarry olives looking good. Did all the trunks survive in the end?
Nioce one bloke!
Cheers bloke
Bloke, that's a coast redwood, not a giant sequoia.
Well, then he's in for a bit of a fun ride because costal redwoods are much more apically dominant than giant sequioa are.
Cheers mate 😃😃
you need more conifers!
There are enough in the bonsai world and owned by people way more talented. I can't get my head around them 😫
