I remember seeing these credits as a kid, always questioned, why he couldn’t go through the window, lol. This idea was also implemented later on and he still didn’t do so😂😂
My childhood! spending the night with all your cousins on Saturday! We all fell asleep with the tv on. You woke up and you would hear this at like 5am. And go make a bowl of cereal while everybody was still sleep. Good times! #nostalgia
MeTV now uses the remastered ones while Boomerang continues to use these prints to this very day for some reason. I'm not lying a single bit. You can still see these credits and these logo's, including Turner on some, it's just slightly sped up unlike here. -Cesar
The current episode on Tubi replaces the Hanna-Barbera & Turner logos with the WB Television logo, while keeping everything here before it thru the Screen Gems credit. The original run had a final "ABC Television Network" screen in Flintstones style; it can be seen in another TH-cam video but is omitted here.
@ 0:09 Yup. It's the original outro from the early seasons of *The Flintstones* with "Mouthless Wilma" sleeping already. It's quite surprising that the Warners (it's current owners) haven't corrected such a major goof already. Not even digitally at the very least. #Incredible
I still remember the ending credits and this is the second ending credits but always wondered why can't he just entre through his window he was not that fatso to enter ..........
Any idea why MeTV STOPPED running this colorized Season 1 & 2 opening and closing? Earl Kress and co. must have done a painstaking job to do this. Now it’s just the tacked-on “Meet the Flintstones” theme from Seasons 3 to 6, thrown onto season 1 and 2 reruns on MeTV.
Maybe it was an iconic theme song that got stuck in people's heads, but at least Boomerang still keeps the "Rise and Shine" intro and outro during all their airings of the first 62 episodes.
The Flintstones series was filmed (so to speak) in color from the beginning, even though the first few seasons were aired in black and white in the early 1960's
I think more people recognize the main theme, so they just opted to use that for the whole series instead. It’s the same reason the original intro/outro for seasons 1 and 2 got plastered over once the series became syndicated.
FRED JUST ENTER THROUGH THE WINDOW
I remember seeing these credits as a kid, always questioned, why he couldn’t go through the window, lol.

He’s obviously too fat to fit through the windows, lol.
Because he might look like a burglar to some neighbor.
Thank you😂
@@Madbandit77 This happens literally every night, they know where Fred lives-
"Wilma! Wilma! C'mon Wilma open this door! WILMA!!!"
It was so cosy little town and home.
I always watch it when i am tired and going to bed.
More peace and quiet bedrock is than my own hometown
I doubt the animators back in the 60s would have known that years later, people would come to envy Fred Flintstone.

I have been trying to find this clip for over 30 years.
0:45 | "Wilma!!!" 🤣
I always loved the way the lights seem to "bounce" the first time they come back on.
The Neighbors: Will you shut up?! People are trying to sleep!
Damn. MeTV airs The Flinstones now?!? I guess the show's getting back it's reputation of being more than just a kid's show.

Surprised WB haven't been putting their 2005 animation logo over these

I remember the HB logo (many times actually), but it *never* had the Turner logo afterwards.
Really? I recall seeing this logo combo many times on Boomerang many years ago.
Usually appears on the Jetsons too.
Wilma? Wilma! Come on, Wilma, open the door! WILMA!!!!!!!!!!!
Today many can't believe in its first run The Flintstones was sponsored by Winston Cigarettes.

I think it's just the style of the artwork, not a goof.
This theme sounds similar to I Love Lucy but most people are familiar with the Meet the Flintstones theme.
mi infancia
They had separate beds, maybe Fred snores and hogs the duvet.
What's with the bird on the cage and why did Fred have to zip it's body?

They either used the syndicated prints
