I've been trying to find this song for months and months...but I couldn't remember the title. I finally heard it on the radio today...thnx for posting it!!
He was a great musician. It is hard to believe he went from making it into the mainstream music(he was a strong Christian) to leaving the industry to become a Dr. in theology. I would be great if he came back in the music business again.
Thanks for the post of this Video, vintage middle of the road music....remembers this song singing with my ex driving with radio blaring......nice memory...
I thought it looked like Toronto. I was going to comment on it but you beat me to it. Having lived there for many years it makes me a bit nostalgic to see Union Station...
@rightonawesome Same here. First time I heard Hold Me Tender was when I was hanging out at a local swimming pool (While I was still in Kamloops, BC. I was a little kid at the time). After hearing it, I got hooked on it. Paul Janz was & always will be a phemomenal Canadian musician.
@dumbeddownnation If she's related to Paul Janz, it's hardly "polluting". "Shameless self-promoting" is when, say, a bunch of comedians post an irrelevant plug of their skits onto your music-performance video.
@SexyAngel79 I'm pretty sure the pool scenes were either the Four Seasons or the Sheraton Centre as well, I stayed with at least one of them as a kid (though both ring a bell) and I recognized the pool in this video
That girl looks a bit like Juliette Lewis and a bit like Molly Ringwald. And another one of the girls looks like Madchen Amick! Cheesy video, but the song is just about as perfect as a pop song can get.
Paul Janz is one of those artists that you never really knew about, but when you hear one of his songs, you remember how great the song is.
Too bad this tune and album are not available on iTunes :(
God can't believe this unique, fun song doesn't have more views.
My favourite Paul Janz song. A vastly underated artist IMO.
It sure is nice to see that there is some good Canadian talent in which Paul Janz sets a prime example. Great Song.
Takes me back to a time when most of my loved ones were alive....and the times were so good, thanx for the memories! Cheers
how come he doesn't sing anymore? and this song is so underrated.... I grew up with it and I love it
Just heard this sone this morning on FUN FM Vancouver....what memories it brought back!
Something about the chorus is just really, really good! I think it's the chord progression. It's awesome!

Nice vid, the woman is very beautiful, and I find it is cute when an old man make a hug to his lady.
My fave video and song by Paul..and one of my all time fave songs/videos :)
I don't know exactly what it is about this video, but it makes the video awesome.

The lyrics I'm not crazy about, but the chorus is addicting.
PAULJANZ. I fricking love him.
One of his better songs.
The red head is so HOT!
Wow. This is NOT what I pictured Paul Janz looking like . . . .
1:02 is a priceless moment.

Too bad there's no karaoke version available of this.

Hey would you have "Stuck on you" (by Paul Janz, naturally ;) )?? Thank you!
I haven't heard this song in ages, I used to think this was some kinda Christmas song
@TheMoose0863 Probably one of the funniest comments I have ever heard. You were serious, right?
I guess you learned a valuable lesson in life that you should not kiss a maid...lol
Is that Juliette Lewis - 2:16?
@NatalieJanz please stop polluting paul janz's vids with your shameless self promotion. Its embarrassing.
