I am one of these peoples that is happiest in rainy weather. Nothing better than waking up on a rainy day. Unfortunately I live in Southern California so not many of these days - LOL. Time to move back to Europe.

I liked watching these videos in between my trips to London, especially Mayfair, SoHo, and Covent Garden. You can see new business that have opened as well as old places that have closed up. Great camera work always. Enjoyed seeing HMV opened on Oxford Street which was my first stop on the most recent trip.

It goes very slowly. It stops a lot. In it it’s like being in a skyscraper - no sense of movement at all

What are you talking about???? Apart from a few grey ish days, apart from some occasional showers in town, a couple of brief downpours perhaps it’s been a good sunny summer. Clear sunny days for both Wimbledon (most unusual ) Lords, and Henley. Not as hot as some previous, but weeks and weeks of summer weather.
Maybe you should find somewhere else to play!

Oh dear memories of typical summer weather in the UK please to say bit different in New Zealand. Having said that my son and his wife were in London two weeks ago and the weather was perfect lots of sunshine lucky for them
Don't try and portray NZ as some kind of tropical paradise. I lived there in the 90s and couldn't believe how cold it got. Add to that most houses there are poorly built and unheated. It was almost third world.
@@DarrenGregg-j3e hello to you I wasn’t trying to portray New Zealand as tropical it does get very cold particularly in the south Island but mostly the summers are very much better than the UK. I would hardly describe it as Third World! My words were a bit better.
I was here on on Wednesday to Friday and it was so busy! What a difference the weather makes 😂 love London miss it already 😢

Request for you: The next time you do a walk through the rain - could you find as many places to hide from the rain as possible? Awnings, archways, etc, where you can still see and hear the rain without being in it?

@@WatchedWalker I'm not sure - but I find it gives a calming effect to be near the rain, but not in the rain. Almost as if you're currently safe, but watching the thing that can make you wet and cold from a place of comfort.
