I needed this so badly today. I’ve been at a job almost 4 years now in constant chaos, no resources and no support but an overwhelming amount of work. I keep saying I must be here for a reason but yesterday I was really really to just walk away. I was frustrated with the wait and honestly frustrated with God too (and I told Him that). I kept hearing “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want” in my spirit. This morning, my Bible app’s message was Psalms 23. God is faithful & He absolutely can and will do whatever He wants, when He wants… I trust Him to do just that
“You will always be the underdog”
• “What %of things which you have done for God could not be done without God?”
NOTHING! Everything I do is only because of his hand on me.
This message was God sent.
He’s calling me to do something that, for me, is what Peter probably felt stepping out in the water.
I prayed about it this morning - it’s been echoing in my spirit for a week. God finally said this morning “obey immediately “ - it’s Urgent.
•Don’t wait for perfect weather.
He’s pushing me out
I hear you Father.
On the stairmaster giggling out loud “here…hold my soda water…” 😂 that is SO good! When we boost up God as the amazing Father He is He Will DELIGHT in boosting US! 🥹😩😭🤍

@29:41 "When you walk by faith, God always responds to it."

I was always taught that Peter fell because of the waves and the doubt, but not till this, did I think of the fact that he doubted Jesus too. Wow. I got this visual... It wasnt that Peter was going to tread on water but rather that complete connection to Jesus would hold him up, like there is something that Jesus would impart to him like when He GAVE them authority to heal.

26:31 wihholding worship... Holy Moly Preston. This is a concept i never considered. We go through life, and it gets rough and we get caught up it the mess and we get all up in our feelings trying to deal. Unintentionally, we direct our faith to the problem as opposed to the Liberator.
And I can actually testify to God has never not delivered me.
Thank goodness this is recorded because ive needed 10 minutes just to allow what ive received thus far to settle. Plus theres a big lump in my throat...

QUESTION: When do we get up and start walking by faith by our own volition and when do we wait on God to tell us to go? I don’t want to be waiting for His signal to go when I should have started walking a while ago, and I don’t want to go before I’m sent.
I cant help but wonder, did Peter sink because he anticipated the how, and when the how did not align with his anticipation, is that how he and we create the doubt within himself?
Because with every other miracle, there was a certain type of empty mental and emotional not knowing how but knowing that He is Going To, space, that held which seemingly is the limitlessness allowance required for Gods ways that are above our ways.

I have a question for you though, do you memorize your content in preparation or how do you do that? You seem like a busy man with many responsibilities so is there a way specifically that you memorize your content?

God is love.
We all fall short and sin.
Love is just and merciful.
Because God is loving He must judge sin, we all stand judged and are due to face His wrath as slaves of sin.
Because God is merciful He provided a way out from under the weight of the law and His wrath and a way for us to be regenerated.
If we trust Jesus shed His sinless blood, died and rose from the grave He forgives us of our sins and gives us a new heart that wants to look God as our Father genuinely and delight in Him, freeing us from being slaves to sin.
The rest is our mind catching up with that reality and taking hold of His teaching and truth until He returns, or we die.
We aren't saved or kept saved by obedience, intentions to submit to Jesus. We can only be lost through unbelief (trusting in our own righteousness, to be or remain saved) or blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (attributing clear works of God, healing/deliverance, to demons and Satan).

8:27... Imagine, Peter had THE MOST faith, enough to attempt to walk on an open water body, enough to know it was possible with with Him to 1) ask and 2) go for it! And then a moment of doubt, and he had to cry out to Jesus who still responded saying it was SO little.
Its like we simply do not know what we can do in faith. Sho...
Lord, may all of us that watch this, have the courage to step out IN A STORM, EVEN if we need rescuing after we do.
