I have been binge watching your videos over the last few days to seek the lords face because I was given an opportunity to go out to Yosemite for the next 6 months and I just want to serve the lord and bless him but I know there will be great temptation while living in the park as a single man. Praying I can hear the lord and glorify him!

Pastor “Prez” and his twin Tim (he doesn’t like being called Pastor) If you didn’t know he has a black twin, his name is Tim Ross and I was introduced to the leader’s cut by Tim on his podcast “the basement”. Between them two and a few others they’ve introduced me to. My life has been so blessed and my first and most significant season of pruning has been a blessing because they’ve help me understand the word, dig deeper and build intimacy with God. I love them!!
Such a relevant topic for my life. I’ve listened to it twice in various platforms. Your sermons and podcast has been a huge help in my walk since Jan 2023. I have had so many conversations and encounters with God through these messages. It all seems to come at the right time with the right topic.
This was great! This time was (actually) my second time listening. The first time not much was able to sink in. As the last few weeks the spiritual attack has been more... This message felt timely for me.❤ As I listened to it this second time, I was struck by a few things: 1. The Lord rebuke you. There's power is the name of Jesus, but using the Lord feels different.🤔 2. The difference in how darkness comes. Slow due to sin or a sudden onslaught from the enemy. When I'm in the midst of spiritual warfare, I often don't have the clarity of mind to see that I have the weapons to fight. This was a reminder to me. To start training my mind. Not just by listening to sermons. But also having a daily practice of reading/listening to the bible. Because there are times when the ONLY thing that brings a bit of relief is the Word. 3. Having friends I cam lean on when the darkness comes. When the darkness descends, others have the ability to fight in a way we may not. 4. The enemy is not just coming at me because He hates me but because he wants people to be separated from their heavenly Father. Sometimes I wonder why on earth the spiritual warfare is such a regular thing for me in this season. I felt the Holy Spirit draw my attention to the fact that Jesus is Light. And that as someone who desires to carry and share His light with others, the battles will come. He also reminded me of something someone prophecied over me in the past. It was a reminder that He is always for me, never against me. Thanks for sharing this.💪
I truly believe that when you use The Lord's Name to rebuke darkness that The Lord means He is God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. You are acknowledging Him fully. He is the one and only Eternal Triune God, and He Deserves nothing less than for each of us to fully acknowledge all parts of His Triune nature.
This is why I began to seek Jesus. I saw the evil, felt it, smelled it, and heard it in the natural. I rededicated my life to the Lord and ran out and bought a bible and started studying. I was thrown into the deep end of the pool, spiritually and started going to church to learn about Jesus.

Regarding curses, I’d like to add the following scripture for those who may be concerned about others speaking curses over them: "Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest." (Proverbs 26:2) "How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the LORD has not denounced?" (Numbers 23:8) One curse that does stick is the curse on wickedness. “The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the dwelling of the righteous.” (Proverbs 3:33) A person can break a curse by turning to Christ! 🙌🏽🙏🏽

I prayed for so long for our best friend or somebody that I can talk to about this crazy place that I’m in, first three years of my walk with the Lord felt like a honeymoon stage, and now it feels like I’ve been dropped, addiction has hit me even things that I didn’t have problems with me and I don’t understand what I’m going through. What’s crazy! I’ve had so much loss this past two weeks and I’ve felt lost for a few days but yesterday I started reading the Bible but listening to you because you are such an amazing teacher and has helped me so much!!!!!!!
I just got home. Thursdays are my 12 hour days I end the day with my Bible study now. I couldn’t wait to get home and just get into bed and turn on the latest drop of TLC. I see it’s on Spiritual darkness. Bring it Preston This is 100% for me. I am sure of it already.
I stayed up late to finish this till the end and glad I did! So many great points that shed wisdom on what I thought was previously so 'basic' but turns out to be very layered. And the more Light is shed on darkness we can see ALL the ways it exists. I learned so much. The day I surrendered to Jesus during this pruning season of my life, the attacks started immediately. Lame attempts because I am a daughter of the King, the Prince of Peace and Lord of lords who cloaks me in his light and blood.

Hey, me too. I hope you see my comment. It has taken my complete dedication to pouring Truth into my mind to displace the lies. I struggled with anxiety, depression, and OCD all my life. I'm certain also a level of PTSD from childhood abuse. I don't live at peace 100% of the time, but I can tell you that my peace is becoming greater and greater, and my bad days are becoming less. Our brains CAN be rewired. Biblically speaking, they can be renewed. In Christ we are new creations. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of a SOUND MIND. It takes us believing Him at His Word, and being intentional about devouring His Word more than we consume anything else. You can and will get there, I believe it. Prayers for you now. ❤

After I was off the medication, I did not realize about the spiritual warfare. I was going through a lot at that time, but what I realize now that some of the things I was going through was not even mines to carry because of one of my gifts the feeling of other peoples hurt. I was caring at all, and it had me in the dark. This is making so much sense to me about me, opening up doors to the enemy

I am grateful for your calm presence , strong biblical teaching and encouragement . I have recently realized every area of my life has come under attack . I just kept thinking why is life so hard this year .. why is all of this happening at the same time . Then, watching this, I realized I have been prioritizing my relationship with Jesus more than ever this year and starting to cut out things that hinder my walk with HIM . If the devil is trying to keep us from God....then why does he bring darkness? I have spent so much more time pursuing God during this season of panic attacks, depression, and anxiety. So it doesn't make sense that the devil would bring something that pushes me into Gods presence. So then it would, in turn, make more sense that this was brought on by the Holy Spirit to bring me closer to the Father.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with all that. I know for a fact that God looks down at you pursuing Him first in the midst of all of that and rejoices about your faith in Him!! To answer your question, remember that the Bible tells us that what the devil meant for bad, God meant for good! “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 NLT God is so close to you in the midst of the storm - so keep your eyes on Him as you have been doing! After I was off the medication, I did not realize about the spiritual warfare. I was going through a lot at that time, but what I realize now that some of the things I was going through was not even mines to carry because of one of my gifts the feeling of other peoples hurt. If the devil is trying to keep us from God....then why does he bring darkness? I have spent so much more time pursuing God during this season of panic attacks, depression, and anxiety. So it doesn't make sense that the devil would bring something that pushes me into Gods presence. So then it would, in turn, make more sense that this was brought on by the Holy Spirit to bring me closer to the Father.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with all that. I know for a fact that God looks down at you pursuing Him first in the midst of all of that and rejoices about your faith in Him!!
To answer your question, remember that the Bible tells us that what the devil meant for bad, God meant for good!

Glad that I came across this video. I am currently in darkness and I feel I am being attacked. I feel heavy, overwhelmed, depressed, and anxious. I’ve been praying , got me a new Bible been reading. Praying for a church home. I rebuke satin in the name of Jesus!!!! I’m crying out to God to save me from this and direct me where I need to be. I need stronger FAITH as well.
