The sensitivity you are getting may be related to olfactory fatigue. Especially your experience with the coffee. Since the pumpkin spice scent was in your wife's car, you have much less of a chance to get olfactory fatigue for that scent. Just something to think about.
As the guy who's manufactured over 6 million of these over the years, the answer is yes. You could make the wood part yourself. Buying these magnets one at a time is expensive. Not sure how you would do the clip yourself. And you definitely don't want the essential oils to touch the interior of your car, for sure. Other than that, yes, creating one or two of these is a perfectly achievable home activity. Making hundreds of thousands of them a month is a bigger challenge, for sure.
Do NOT waste your money folks. Just opened my new stone Teak scent i ordered from Amazon. Hardly no scent whatsoever. Ill never support this brand again. Worst 16 bucks ive ever spent. Looks cool. Sounds like a great idea. Just doesn't work.
Hmm did you email the company? I’m sure they would send another one. I will say that I thought the scent was quite powerful and other people thoigh the only in my car was a little weak so everyone will be a little different
The rigamarole of setting the wood chip somewhere to clarify before applying it to the holder is absurd. They should take care of all those details at the factory so one can simply open the package and install it.
I even kept the packaging it smelled so good luv this
Cool idea as an air freshener. Have you ever tested to see if you could "recharge" it using your own choice of scented oils?
I actually thought about that too. I don’t see why you couldn’t
Would you just soak it in the oil fragrance of your choice
I wonder if beard oil would work to recharge it.
Got mine today from Drift so let’s see, smelled nice straight out of the package, Cabana scent I got
I was wondering how these compared to the Azuna scents.

Likely, I also drink a ton of coffee ☕️
I feel this is something I could DIY with a piece of scrap wood if I had the scented oils. I mean, aesthetically anyway.

It is VERY good amount of scent. Bought direct from drift
This is what EVERY product should have. Someone talking about a product and a bunch of comments reviewing
Tried it. Scents are ok. That metal visor clip will ruin your vinyl visor. I got mine last summer and that clip kinda melted the vinyl.
The metal won't ruin your visor, but the essential oils MOST DEFINITELY WILL. Are you sure you didn't get some of the oil on your car interior?
@kellyanderson995 no it didn't. I was just upset the clip left a permanent mark on my visor.
Hey I just bought one of these how do I know when to change the air freshener
Drift says it last 30 days
@@devinmims6593 it’s been in my car for two months

@@KurtofTrades a product should be consistent in order to be a success.
Thanks seems overpriced anyway
To be clear though it is a rock right
Amazon and ebay has counterfeit products.. i never order anything from them.. i go straight to the company
Brought one from drift. Please don't waste your money.
Great scent but does not last long
Just infuse it back in the oil of your choice
@@martinsen073this is what I’ve been wondering. Why not put new oils on and save 9.99 a month
How long time?

Lost me at “The look is the best thing about this product”
I mean he also spoke about the "flavor" sooo....
I love love love mine
It’s a piece of wood lmao
Not worth it
