    I ride these everyday. The climb sucks but the orange downhill trail keeps me coming back every day. So so good

    One of my favorite trails.. next time go across to crazy 8 to add some more mileage to the trail, it’s a lot of fun.

    My home trail...glad to see more people enjoying it...I'm one of the trail stewards there...my boys and I have added most of the fun, techy, jump stuff in there. There are a couple other trail stewards there that help as well. And there is lots more to come....😎

      Will there be a legit jump line or drops here? Seems like the terrain is right. Would be great to have something on Long Island that’s not really tiny stuff

    • @kennyrojas4014

      There is a jump line. More features and more jumps coming this season..🤘.

    I liked the intro thing you did with everything just appearing. Also where you did the big wooden board drop, if you go up the hill and find some trail it leads to a very fast, big berm section with an optional drop that could easily kick you and become a 4-6 foot drop to nearly flat. I don’t know if that’s an official trail or not, but it’s pretty sketchy and I have not done it....yet. The berms there are super fun though. Nice video!

    • @TheCranemeister
      @TheCranemeister  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hahah thanks. I spent way to much time with that first 20 seconds of the video making it like that. I will have to go back to see what your talking about. Thanks!

    Glacier 8 Hidden Pond Park also has a mountain bike trail to the south, which requires a high-voltage line rack across the road.

    • @TheCranemeister
      @TheCranemeister  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Called crazy 8. I rode it but didn't think it was anything special.

      @@TheCranemeister Glacier 8 Hidden Pond Park does not have too difficult trails, it is easy to complete all. Hempstead Harbor Woods Mountain Bike Trail is still the most difficult. Last week I tried the undeveloped stone trail, half of the ride and half of the walk.

    I really enjoy your videos. Quick question, I stand 5'11. Would a XL frame Farley 9.6 be too big for my height? I have an opportunity to get a used one but it's too far away for me to test it out.

    • @TheCranemeister
      @TheCranemeister  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say yes you would want the large.

    This is my local park and I’m a newbie (commented on a few of your other videos). Some say this place is easy, I disagree. The crosses are creepy. I think top elevation is 215 feet. Was here yesterday,, in fact and ten times in the last twenty days.

    Sad day for the trails...Climb has removed most of the fun stuff at this trail....my friends and I spent years improving this trail system. Unfortunately they will never be the same, and we are no longer helping maintain those trails. At least this video will be historical evidence of what once was.

    • @TheCranemeister
      @TheCranemeister  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's horrible news. Do you know why the fun stuff was removed?

    • @kennyrojas4014
      @kennyrojas4014 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know the lame excuses that Climb brings up insurance policies, risk, etc....meanwhile tons of people have safely enjoyed those features for years. And even within thier own trails systems there are other features which are way more dangerous....lame!
