Always great tips!
With that cache & vendor tip, you dont have to physically go to cache. You can stand right in front of vendor and access your watehouse and cargo by pulling up the Ship menu (hold circle on ps5) and skip the cutscene and short walk.
Also, if you are just going to sell a lot of items in bulk you can mark all items you want to sell to vendor (square on ps5) and then sell all at once just like transfering loot from cargo to warehouse.
This does it all quickly. It will give you the grand total of silver before you sell, AND if any of the items are used for a contract you jave it will give you a warning letting you know so you dont accidentally sell quest items.

just stand in front of the vendors to access inventory by holding Z . I have one of every commodity in my ship and i can see what it in high demand.

I am trying to find out if there is any chance to know where the merchants are that buy your stuff with two green arrows up as you sold the brandy at the end. I had one rare encounter with a merchant but was not aware of the trading system at that point. Do they just randomly give you double on some commodities?
I think there's another system at play that the longer you sail with the commodities IN your ship, the more they will buy it for. But I'm unsure
This is what i found in my playthrough so far regarding two green arrows and seems to be constant (for me) so far with one or the other merchant
Brandy - Khmoy Estate
Gin - Eldars Cave
Gin - Navigators Cross
Orante Pistols - Sunken Goldmine
Uncut Garnet - Sunken Goldmine
Camphor - Sunken Goldmine
Vanila - Ragnok cave
Snuff - Ragnok cave
Paintings - Mother of shipwrecks
Batik - Moyenee Crique
I think i figured it out. It’s super random.
What i do now is to just hoard the commodities in the warehouse. I travel around do my missions and when i am at an outpost i check the commodities in demand, put those from the cache/warehouse into my ship and only sell them wenn there are two arrows up.
If they don’t have it, back into the stash it goes.
There is no system to make big cash quickly but over time. The focus should be on the missions and fighting and then only sell when there is a double arrow up opportunity.

Great content...definitely learned something new here. you have a New Sub here for this game. I have seen other folks say not to sell everything like that and hold onto commodities for completing jobs at the jobs board...am I mistaken there? Curious to your thoughts. Loving the game so far. The only thing i am having issues with is getting the better weapons. Once you get a blueprint you go to craft and realize that you need a bunch of materials that you just used to craft other things that took you forever to gather. other than that having a blast. Thanks!
Yeah it can take a while getting all those materials. Regarding the job board it's up to you, sometimes to gain infamy or silver, depends on the jobs.
There is usually 2 merchants per outpost, one by the dock and one at the inland camp. Worth checking both.

@@ConCon This generally stops being the case after you finish the campaign. The second Vendor is often replaced by a helm agent

Great video, just wanted to add that you don't have to go to the cache to access your cargo. Any location that you can disembark on you can access your cargo by managing your ships cargo from the menu. You can also sort your cargo to only show commodities.

What about old weapons and furniture that u have multiples of like literally half my warehouse is old weapons that I have picked up

You don’t need to go to your boat or cache just hold down (Z) on computer and it with take you to your boat menu from anywhere when you are docked

Yup
Change title to GOOD Items to sale, BEST are double green up and I have 2 locations to buy double green UP and 1 location that buys them for both for double green up (buying at 42, selling at 121). Takes me about 10 minutes to make 40k then wait for restock and repeat. I hoped you found a few other places so I could rotate them in but honestly 40k anytime I need it has been fine so I quit looking. TIP: Screenshot vendors selling double Up arrows and double down arrows and/or make notes. This is how I found the 2 golden geese and the 1 sucker to buy them.
BONUS TIP: DO NOT use the fast travel outposts to find them, I could not find a double up buyer at anb outpost, only settlements. I did find a double up seller as one of my two at an outpost.

@@sickenzzzzz I wont post specific vendors here because I have learned it spreads like wildfire and then devs patch them. Basically, if you don't wish to sail around finding your magic vendors what you need to do is as you travel pay attention when you find a DOUBLE GREEN arrow item (either sold or purchased). Make note of that NPC and the item and sale/buy price. Not all double greens are created equal. I have one selling the same item for 41 and another double green selling it for 52. Also another TIP: NEVER sale Snuff or Abergris, they are part of one of the daily Scurloch quests and if you have enough daily (I usually do because I buy from double greens and find while sailing) you can complete one of his daily quests and get silver PLUS 400 infamy within 15 seconds. There are other items as well not to sale but I don't have my list at work and remember Scurlochs because it was the first time I realized I should keep those items.
@@sickenzzzzz Oh another tip, even if selling at a double green, only sale all but 1 of an item, this way as you sail around and put all commodities in your inventory to see what prices are offered you have 1 of each to note a better selling price.
@@sickenzzzzz and also in case you don't know, Scurloch buys Gold Skull Rum for 250. Of course until you buy all the long nines you want you wont want to sale any, but after that if money gets tight sale Scurloch some GSR to boost your silver quickly.

Not really, I've just been keeping them
Tips: 1.) Use your inventory filters. 2.) Don't waste time going to the cache. Hold Z or whatever the equivalent of it is on your system to "bring up the main action screen". The one that allows you to fast travel, set sail etc. It will allow you to manage cargo/warehouse. 3.) The further the distance, the greater the profit/demand.

i didnt sell anything, because also commodities are usefull too, at the end of scurlock he also want commodities like wine and more and you also get xp rank points and meony for it. so we need a better overview and lsit of what we can sell and to the best pricve of all and highes money. no, it´s not so easy.
There are better ways to get silver and xp than redoing those contracts. But it's up to you.
I tried this out a few ways. If you go out of your way to buy low and sell high it just isn't enough silver per hour. You will earn way more if you just go to areas with many wrecks and loot them all. I would suggest you stockpile until you have maxed out stacks before you try to sell them. I do check whenever I am at a merchant if I have anything I have looted that has a green arrow, but dedicating time to this, not worth it even with the largest and fastest ship.
I have found an amazing location for this exactly, working on video now. Able to loot about 4000-5000 silver in 5 minutes and it's repeatable.
