36 Crazyfists don’t get the respect they deserve, never put out a bad album, been one of my favourite bands for over 15 years. So amazingly consistent. Thank you for turning more people on to this incredible band.
She has an amazing smile that is so infectious. My favorite video is "I Hate Everything About You" because she is such a silly goof ball throughout the whole thing.
I've followed Meytal from when she came to the USA after her service in the Israeli army. Her videos from her apartment and neighborhood and her drum post from storage units, if I remember correctly, were amazing to me. What drive she has. I'm very happy for her success and I'm sure there will be more. Her drumming continues to improve and be amazing. She is an inspiration to all who know her story and of you do, share it with someone. I hope we can experience her artistry for a long time. Meytal, mahalo for everything that you share. 🤙😎
I used to blare this song as loud as possible everyday, leaving high school. Always hyped me up. So to see Meytal covering it so articulatly is astounding! Thank you!
Thomas Noonan is a damn wizard! What he does with a 4 piece kit and a single pedal is so unique in the rock-metal scene. He's alot like Abe from Deftones, just pure groove and power.
Been following for a very long time and you always hit it with some classic gold. 36 Crazyfists - Bloodwork is one of my all time favorites. Keep up the awesome work!!
Gotta admit I have never heard of this band before you decided to cover them. And once again you’ve caused my music library to increase in size. Love the sound and everything about this video.
Then you should definitely check them out! 36 Crazyfists are really good, but so underrated and too unknown. For two another song recommendations just check my other big "main comment" (as in "not a reply to s.o. else's").
Please do more covers of these guys they kick so much ass The heart and the shape we gave it hell At the end of August. Slit wrist theory......saw them live once and they blew me away...brock (the lead singer) in mid scream launched himself off stage into the crowd and continued to finish the song while crowd surfing
You are just absolutely beautiful. I served 5 years in the United States Army and am glad to have served for an absolutely priceless talented woman like you. XOs. Nick
Ms. MEYTALL , God has blessed you with an ausome gift of drumming. Most of all your personality is the absolute greatest. Thank you for always making me smile and of course learning a new beat everytime I watch you jam them drums. Stay strong and God bless you always.
Wow!! Awesome Ms. Cohen! Always a treat to watch you slam the jams beautiful lady! Thank you. Nice nails Meytal. There really is a first time for everything..lol. I hear that you are having a rough go of these bizarre and unprecedented times. Settle in, hold on tight and ride it out with us. We got this, together Meytal. I'll be helping support your vision on Patreon no matter what kind shit show we have to endure with this crazy pandemic playing out on the world stage. I've missed you but I know you'll pull out of the doldrums little drummer gal. Please say hey to Mr. Django and Lior for me. Tell Marc to get the coffee right or he's fired..j.k.. stay safe. Stay healthy. Hope your Mom is doing well over there! C U Soon❤️ Much love, laughter and light to and for you Meytal Cohen, always!!🤘💪❤️❤️❤️😎🎶🌹💪🤘
You are the best drumer. You are so facilty to play. Your face and your smile make me happy when I'm not well. thank you. Continue like this. I love YOU. Mickael. From Lille, FRANCE
Because you keep your back straight...is why you are so good..I remember watching an old video of u..all about keeping your back straight..an how it makes u a better Drummer
Yes!!. I got to hang out with Brock and Thomas when they came to town. They played at a place called the rock and roll pizza. They played a show with kitties and we got to play with them and party and hang out with them. But they would practice here alot Nd lived here along time ago as well and rehersed at a place that was like a apartment building but you rent a room to play in. There new drummer Kyle Bathurst lives here in Portland as well. Brock is the sweetest dude. This band has been amazing for soo long but never got the fame they deserved.
Dear Meytal, first things first: Really, really great cover of a great song from a great album of a great and well too unknown and underrated band! What a funny coincedence, that your Spotify suggestions just brought them to your attention. I listened to them a lot back in the days in the early 2000s, when I was playing the guitar and did most of the songwriting in my first, self-founded band "Slaves of Society", short "S.O.S.". We also covered this song in a little simplified version. Was real tight shit for us back then, because with starting the band we also just started to play our instruments. I can also highly recomment the song "Between the anchor and the air" from them, especially the drum intro of this song is legendary, the rest not so much... But the album (A Snow Capped Romance) contains a few brilliant songs in general. I really love and recommend "Slit Wrist Theory" a lot. So, in conclusion, keep your awesome playing up and thank you so much for this great cover and bringing nostalgia to me, too! :-) Love, peace and all the best for you and your band + friends and family! Stay healthy! Chris from Berlin, dedicated subscriber for 7 years now.
I had the luck of being able to open for them in 2006. It was on a weeknight and the venue did a poor job of promoting it. So the turnout wasn't really great. But they got on stage and played like they were playing in an arena. Got to speak with Brock afterwards in the back of the venue by their Roadrunner bus they were using. Very very nice guy. I brought my Bitterness the Star cd with me, as it was the first album I had heard and all the songs meant a lot to me, and he signed it for me. This band is so incredibly talented.
Wow this brought back soooo many good memories and this band deserves for new people to discover them and old fans to be reacquainted. Such a really cool sound to them. So glad you did this song/band.....love it!!!!
I love my AK boys! Such an underrated band...and super cool. They would always hang after shows, so down to earth! I wish that doing this song did not seem like an obscure thing to do! Also, this reminds me of Thomas, I miss him being in the band, but I'm glad Mick is back! Remember street teams lol? I was on their street team for most of the 2000s, so much fun!
Let go, let go, let go .. !!!! sing it sing it !!!! live it live it !!!! move your hair !!! feel it feel it..the camera loves you !!!! don't be so shy !!! You are beautiful .. and very skilled .. greetings from the mayan riviera mexico
