    I like how as you get into the later Zelda games, they establish that Link is ridiculously physically strong. Like he needs to be any more of a Chad than he already is XD

      In Wind Waker Link was able to mow down enemies with weapons many times his size and in Botw we play as a literal parry god able to stop Calamity Ganon's attack with a pot lid. Ganon's gonna need all pieces of the triforce to even dream of competing with the Wild Link.

    • @drakke125Channel

      someone did a video on how strong Link actually is in BoTW to be able to parry enemies like the Lynel and such, using math and physics. Looks like he's been strong from each reincarnation.

      @@drakke125Channel Canonicaly since the first link in skyward sword haveing his soul cleansed by the three flames and being chosen as Hylia's chosen hero his soul became known as the soul of the Hero. Every time Hyrule is in danger Link is reincarnated with all his past incarnations battle skill and puzzle solving knowledge meaning each Link is stronger and wiser than the last. The exception of this is Wind Waker Link as the soul of the hero was removed from the adult time line when oot zelda sent her link back in time to live out his childhood meaning when ganon returned there was no hero's soul to be reborn. This is why WW Link is so impressive in the grand scheme of things as he wasn't a chosen hero with all the past links experience he was just a young boy named after the hero of legend who wanted to save his sister and across his quest became someone worthy of starting a new liniage of chosen heroes.
      It is also why BotW Link is a super human monster as he has 20000+ years of experience fighting ganon dude has more combat experience than any other living human.

      @@demi-fiendoftime3825 Each Link is absolutely not stronger than the last, that's a complete headcanon, cmon man. The lore is cool enough as is, no need to make stuff up. To insinuate that the Link from TLoZ 1986 (canonically a 13 year old boy) is stronger than SS Link (canonically an 18 year old man AND Hylia's literal Chosen) is silly.
      Also, while on the subject, Link from Wind Waker IS the reincarnation of the hero, as the parameters of the reincarnation cycle make him so: Whenever Hyrule is in danger, a Hero WILL APPEAR. The fun thing with him is that Hyrule was specifically anticipating the Hero of Time, which is why nobody thought he was "meant" to be the hero. (This is also the fuel to the theory of the Flood Hero. Because there must be a hero, there must have been one who simply failed.) Since the people of Hyrule were specifically expecting the Hero of Time, this unnamed hero may not have received the help or support needed to beat Ganon. The people had a hero, but simply weren't looking in the right place. (God I hope they make a pre-flood game and make it canon, one of my favorite theories.)

      @@DefyRoutine The Hero of Winds did not inherit the Spirit of the Hero, which is what it means to be a reincarnation of the hero. The Spirit of the Hero did not remain in that time period to be reborn. The gods left behind trials that would forge a new Spirit of the Hero after the absence of the original forced them to act, and the Hero of Winds faced those trials and thus became the progenitor of this new Spirit of the Hero.

    Just thought I'd drop a bit of trivia. Twilight Princess was originally going to be solely on the Gamecube, but when the release date for the Wii was announced and the dates were so close, Nintendo decided to release it simultaneously on both systems. The problem that arose is that Link is traditionally left-handed, a fact well known to the fanbase, but most of the players are right-handed, which would make the motion controls of the Wii awkward to say the least. So what they did was they took the entire world of Hyrule and _flipped it_ so that on the Wii version things that were on the left in the GC version were on the right and vice versa, INCLUDING Link's sword and shield. So, other than left and right being flipped, the GC and Wii versions are identical.

    • @King_Luigi
      @King_Luigi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I believe the Wii version was the only 1 with widescreen support.
      While the Gamecube version was the only 1 with camera control.
      Aside from new/differently activated glitches, I think those are the only other differences.

    • @GiveItUpKwahng
      @GiveItUpKwahng 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Wii version also put a cursor on the screen to direct where you were pointing at, in the shape of a fairy, and every time it moved it made a very high-pitched, extremely annoying noise. Considering you had to randomly shake the controller to swing your sword, this meant that combat became a very ear-piercing affair. Combine that with said random controller waggling for the sake of tacking on motion controls to a game that wasn't built with them in mind and didn't need them and the Wii version was just kind of awful. So glad the HD version stuck to the correct orientation for the world and ditched the Wii version controls.

    DeeBeeGeek, I am absolutely stoked that you are doing a playthrough of my personal favorite entry in the Legend of Zelda series. When I first played this game, it gave me the sense that I was watching a movie unfold before my very eyes with the story that unfolded. The atmosphere was dark and foreboding, the cast of characters was great, the music was absolutely fantastic and the overall experience was something that I will never forget. I hope you get the same feeling when you finish your journey through the world of Twilight Princess.

I always 100% every Zelda game (except Breath of the Wild... screw the Korok Seeds) and this game is such an enjoyable adventure. And the secret techniques are awesome to get!

    If you do end up doing side quests before the Arbiter's Grounds, a number of details:
    Getting the warp in the desert is a good idea, and there's something where that's located at tied to the other missing warp point you missed.
    I'd recommend paying some of the mini-games that require rupees early on. There's some along the river with the human girls you can find along the river, and there's one in Castle Town that you can do round 1 on for now.
    After the mini-games, I suggest using the rupees on the two spots where you can donate in the game to try and get their rewards.
    If you do the thing with the warp points, this unlocks a big side quest, but you won't be able to do all of it at this point in the game, so your call whether to attempt what you can for a limited amount of the rewards you can get at this time.
    There's also the missing treasure chest you can now get in Goron Mines.
    Then, there's many pieces of heart that you can now get.
    You can get nearly all the golden bugs excluding a very small amount.
    Most of the side quests available to you at this time involve Hyrule Field, though there's a few exceptions. Who knows? Maybe if you do enough, you can claim this one hidden equipment early, though that's completely optional.

    The song you howled at the stone is the song of healing (you might be able to figure something out if you pay attention to what the songs are...) and the banging music in the goron mines is the Goron's Lullaby from Majora's Mask. TP is full of OoT and MM references :)

  • @joshuana5132
    @joshuana5132 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    #Reminder: This is for IF you choose to go with the original plan of side questing, Dee, instead of the Arbiter's Grounds. Just a list of options to pursue at your call:
    1: two warp points you've missed activating, one in the desert you're in and another in northeastern Hyrule(only reachable from northern central hyrule thanks to broken bridge)
    2: Two places to find that involve donating for an eventual reward. You started the one that asks for one round of this, the other asks for two rounds one after another if you can find it.
    3: Missing treasure chest in Goron Mines is now accessible to you.
    4: Finding what the fortune teller pointed out in the path to goron village.
    5: Mini-games. One in Hyrule Castle Town that you briefly saw in your wolf form but couldn't play then. And three more with the two girls along the river that was hinted at in your mail.
    6: Pursuing bugs, which at this point in the game you can actually gather most of them, though not quite all yet.
    7: Exploring Hyrule Field.
    8: Opening bombable entrances, at least one in Faron Woods and most in Hyrule Fields, and I think some in the lake area too if I'm recalling right, perhaps more. I think there was some stuff in the Zora domain area too? Memory's fuzzy on the details. Lots of bombable stuff.
    So... yeah, lots of options, but that's just if you decide to do side quests like you planned. Up to you if you save it for after the Arbiter's Grounds you saved in instead though.
