Gentlemen, very well done. I went on a trip with my grandparents, uncle, and cousin back in '94 through Nova Scotia. We all piled into a rented Ford Taurus and toured the entire province. We had "The Sounds of Nova Scotia Part 2" to keep us company on our journey. This was my favorite song on the album. To hear a live version today just makes me smile. Thank you from Hart, Michigan.
OMG…Attended a concert “There’s Something In The Wind” at the Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay last evening. What an amazing evening of Cape Breton talent….. both “seasoned & upcoming”…Sam Moon being one of the guest performers!! He treated us to this song & you could feel your heart fill with emotion & being transported back in time to our youth. He hasn’t lost his touch with that voice of his … plus the “Moon Robe” ! So glad to have Sam back on the “Island” ! Hope to see & hear more of him on the local stage!!
Great song! I've never heard it before, but I'll be hearing it quite a bit from now on. Thanks for sharing it. It's almost as pretty as the girls of Neil's Harbour.
Very nice tune Sam and /rick. They thought it would sell more if it had Stan Rogers namd behind it. Geeeeeeee . What a business. Nice composition . Smooth and pretty playing. Perfect.
this song is popular at the Strait Area Community Curling Club on a cold wiinter's Saturday night in the midst of a bonspiel, sung by my friend Gerry McDaniel from Brook Village Inv. Co., NS
This is by far my favourite Cape Breton song to sing when I play around home here in St Peter's.
