A lot of comments on how ugly it is. As a neutral I think that the shape of the stadium is cool and unique. It’s just the seats that let the place down. If it were all uniform red, with words spelt out with white seats it would look SOOO much better!
I must say , it is a good idea to have a sensory room, that’s such a nice thing to have for certain fans.
When my team Nottingham Forest build The new Peter Taylor Main Stand a sensory room will be in there too! Great idea!
I think St Mary’s in Southampton were the first and I’ve seen Spurs’ first hand in the Paxton. My son is autistic so we might one day get him to N17.

I prefer Griffin Park only ground to have pub on each corner. Now soulless centre for pawn sandwich crowned stuff the fans.
This happened to coventry city, Highfield Road and ricoh arena. Although I still think you bees will make it to the big time come the end of the season.
The new ground is like right next to Griffin Park so I think fans would still go to those places

@@Upsurging93 Coventry sold Highfield Rd and moved to a stadium that they didn't own so they're now screwed. I think Brentford own the new stadium, they're not renting it surely?
@@thefivepoints my point wasnt about owning the stadium. We used to own the stadium but got into financial difficulty and issues with the owners. My point refered to the original comment, which was about the stadiums location and the lack of care about the fans.

They say they want to build this for the prem but it’s too small for the prem it’s average for the championship
He meant for the rules and regulations grounds have to adhere to in Premier League. It has stricter requirements.
Building it for the prem has nothing to do with the capacity. It’s the quality of the facilities that need to adhere to premier league standards.
@@adamsutter5336 and where did u here that lol, I’ve been to prem grounds that are similar states to Griffin park, when my team qpr went up we didn’t need to build a new stadium, we were fine with our 100 year old ground so that makes no sense
@@bezer5901 Griffin Park still had standing instead of seats in some areas, not allowed in the premier league or even the championship (Brentford had to get wavers from the EFL). Stadiums also require media rooms that need to adhere to Prem standards, Griffin Park's did not. Prem stadiums also need to have acceptable facilities for disabled supporters, Griffin Park didn't. When Brentford first got into the playoffs in 2015 the club was in talks with other clubs (Tottenham, Fulham, Wembley Stadium) about sharing a ground if they were to get promoted as Griffin Park would not have been accepted. Your stadium may be 100 years old but clearly the facilities of the ground have been updated to be acceptable to Prem requirements.
@@bezer5901 And show me where in the rule book it says clubs must have a certain capacity to be in the premier league. And when you find that rule you'll find it is no more than what Bournemouth has (which was less than the capacity at Griffin Park).
You can see even the interviewer is not impressed lol

Guys, please fix the audio. Happened first in the brentford B game and now in this. I’m from overseas and a big bee fan. the only content I can get is digital. My local football club does clearer audio with there video content. Surely you can sort it out before the season starts. Thanks for the video. Good to see the new stadium.

Can't wait to see the Bees there and London Irish rugby, become a Brentford fan since the stadium share has been announced. Hope some Brentford fans give rugby a try and get to an Irish game as well!
I'm a footy fan but live very close to a Premiership rugby ground, have to admit that I've never been tempted to go and watch a game...despite having friends who are season ticket holders there and being able to hear the crowd from my garden (or sticking my head out of a window) when a match is being played. Where I live there is a bit of snobbiness between followers of football and rugby, which is a bit pointless as both are great sports, and it seems like most people follow one or the other. It will be interesting to see how the ground share works, or if Irish actually get to add some of their branding to the stadium, hope both teams and their fans enjoy the ground and use it as a springboard to success.

Jacob Aveyard it won’t be because Brentford aren’t in the Prem and EA Sports haven’t got full rights for the Championship.

Liking your new ground, was gutted for you that you did not get promoted as I like to see a new club enter the Premier League. Especially as you have come up through all the divisions over the past 11 years. Better luck next season guys. From a Blackburn Rovers fan.

Agree needs alot more colour/branding/decalbwithin the stadium it is like a shopping centre, but overall i really like the ground, looking forward to visiting one day to catch either footy or rugby game
I really like this stadium. I dont support Brentford but I really hope they get promoted to the Premier League and stay there for a good while.
Great to hear memorabilia coming into the concourses, the stadium altogether is very good, just needs a bit more branding, and red seats.
Holding out on my reservations until Brentford branding is installed. I like the stadium, it has a good shell just begging to be filled in!

Nice stadium. It will be up to the fans to create the atmosphere. Sometimes though new stadium create a hex for a while, Southampton had it, so some argue have Arsenal since their move to the Emirates. AFC Wimbledon don't seem to be doing well since going to New Plough Lane! Lets hope the fans can come back to games soon.
The facilities look great but the stands are horrendous

I hope they decal and brand the shit out of it. Looks soulless. All those grey walls inbetween the seats too. I’m sure they are for advertising but hope we get some bee logs about the place. Community stadium or not.. it’s our home?
The changing room area had a bit of a hospital feel to it, pretty anaemic, but I am sure the ground will look far more Brentford once the branding and history are on display. Loved the touch with recycling the bricks, that was clever, not something I have seen in any other stadium.
I think that the person giving the tour said that they didn’t put a lot of the branding up at that time. I bet if you went now there would be decals and branding everywhere.
I sincerely hope they’ve addressed this in time for this season. Can understand holding off on sponsor-related branding but its borderline inexcusable that there’s nothing Brentford anywhere you look. Just blank granite.
preston fan here, gotta say thats a good ground with great facilities, look forward to hopefully visiting it away with preston. do prefer more older grounds with history though.

As an american is crazy how much of this is indoors, way different than our stadiums here
It get's cold here in the UK, I went to LA Galaxy's stadium a few years back and all the concourses are in the open.

Amazing to build a stadium and keep the cost down in West London. WD them. Meanwhile down the road Chelsea moan about costs and building a new ground and paying 750 mill to build one yet manage to spunk 300mill plus on a few players.

Firstly, still got distortion on the mic. Secondly, neither view nor mention of disabled areas, I am a little concerned by the glass screens. Am I going to be watching the game through a glass screen in the disabled area?!!

@@joshhart4801 Thats not true. This will be one of the most accessible stadiums in the UK and you can see there are positions for wheelchair users all around the stadium including in each of the hospitality options.
@@jackmorgan8684 oh yes sorry I've re watched it and I've seen the wheelchair spots, but at first i didn't see them and they didn't explain where they will be so i just presumed they wasn't proud of where they've put them so it must be indoor.
@@jackmorgan8684 Yes I know this but as they seemed to pass by these platform areas ( without a mention, why?) there is what looks like perspex/glass screens on top of the walls. So I'm wondering if you have to watch through the screens. I t would have been helpful if they had stopped and shown one then we would have known but it was like they didn't exist.

Not spectacular like tottenham's but definitely feels like home.

So you aspire to be Bournemouth? Wow . I'd like to think the Bees could become a big team with a big stadium. The fact Brentford chose to build a smallish stadium shows a lack of ambitiion. Or the local authority wouldn't allow a bigger stadium.
@@barmybee61 Why does the capacity even matter? The facilities alone are better than a lot of Premier League stadiums. Everything in the ground is state of the art, but you're looking at capacity.
Looks very good, be nice to see what it looks like when fully branded, etc. Can't help but feel the seats should be red inside the stadium though.

As a Fulham fan who lives near Kew Bridge, Brentford are very lucky to have such an amazing location. It's not going to be the heart of the community, like some stadiums, but it's going to do a good job and will be a great place to visit. Almost as good as the Cottage : )
