Same with DBZ, Bleach, One Piece, Yugioh, Shaman King, Bobobo, Gin Tama, Black Cat, Fist of The North Star, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Death Note, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Saint Seiya/Knights of The Zodiac, I could go on and on. They all have good anime and they're all manga from Shonen Jump.

I never read the manga, but is jinchuu arc really worth bothering? Shishio was the last great villain IIRC, everyone else is just kind of below him.
And Enishi went out like a bitch as expected.
@@விஷ்ணு_கார்த்திக் In my opinion it's definitely worth reading. Not only did we see someone, Enishi, do what even Shishio couldn't do and effectively counter Kenshin's Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, but he effectively broke Kenshin psychologically afterward as well.
It's leaps and bounds better than what the OVA portrayed.

Its impressive that shishio's jagged sword managed to block even parry kenshin's super powerful ogi and not shatter into pieces. Moreover kenshin's sword is blunt. They're really twin sword, but opposite in nature and principles

I think the first time they played this is when Kenshin arrived in Kyoto in front of the place Saito was staying. Loved it! Best part right here!

You can practically hear Kenshin's roar when the tempo picks up. The roar of one hitokiri fighting to defend peace from a threat that seeks to destroy it.

The moment when they leave the Aoiya to duel Shishio, just epic.
I personally have not yet watched the episodes put out thus far of the 2023-2024 remake, but I sincerely wish the production staff best of luck in coming up with a better BGM sequence than this, especially when it's time for Kenshin's "do or die" confrontation with Hiko Seijuro, and other similar moments afterwards.
This always reminds me of Saito’s Gatoutsu Zero Style. Underrated character.
