It definitely has a P-50 windup as to what it actually sounds like is a KLAXON CS8 that has the same port ratio just that the KLAXON version is a U.K. siren that runs on 415 volts DC at 50HZ and has HI-LO capability.
This was an audio recording from the Test date on May first. The video can be found under "Calhan Siren Test 2009 part 1" and "Calhan Siren Test 2009 part 2"
@ricofojas2011 They all refer to the same company. Federal Electric -> Federal enterprises -> Federal Sign & Signal -> Federal Signal Inc. FE is the oldest incarnation, pretty much from founding till (maybe) about late 30s early 1940s, then FS&S from '50s till early 70s, and then FS from then till today.
They aught to keep these kind of sirens around. it looks bigger them a tbolt and 2t22s andsh 10 sirens. I think they aught to go back to making these sirens again.
It sounds the exact same as a ACA super banshee except that the ACA super banshee has dampers and can do Hi Lo While the federal signal Doesn’t have dampers
@FEDERALSIGNALTECH Why would you call yourself Federal Signal Tech if you don't work for F.S.? You let me in the wrong direction. But I still like you. Although I don't know you, I still like you like I like everybody else. Have a nice night and God bless you.
I can't wait for people to say "A S C T 1 3 5"

The Klaxon had a 10-12 rotor, while these have a 8-12.
I just LOVE the sound it has. Scary yet awesome. This one kind of reminds me of a H.O.R. Super Sirex (Don't remember the model number.)
The only super sirex model number I know is no.15, pretty sure the rest don't have model numbers

a t-128 is also really loud from... further away.
Awesome siren and video man!
I would repaint this siren yellow and place Federal Signal stickers as well as Civil Defense stickers on it at different places.
Sounds like cyclone siren
This Has a ACA Cyclone 125 Chopper.
No. It has 2 single tone choppers: one 8 port chopper and one 12 port chopper.
Nope it's actually 9/12
*8/12
@@deleteddeleted172 if it were 9/12 it would sound like an allertor

@FEDERALSIGNALTECH I think you'll aught to go back to making these sirens again. These look bigger and looks like it can beat any other siren.
