I never beat this game 100% as is didnt find everything nor trigger every cutscene so wanted to see what i did wrong. Thats how i began looking for and finding this video which was the first video i saw

Got this to work on my steam deck and i’ve been having a good time with it but i realized how much I didn’t know about the game and your video does a perfect job of showing me that. Great work!
It's a shame we probably won't see an HD version of this game. Imagine a remaster with some Persona elements to the Gift exchange system. Truly the dawn of dreams!
I beat the first one for sure even beat all 24 levels going down till you get the clam horn to get the sword at the funny looking door but i don't remember doing down all these levels. Thanks bro brings back great memories
This series NEEDS to come back. Seriously. There’s a TON of IP just sitting on the shelf from the PS1/PS2 that could be AMAZING if properly rebooted in the modern age (like Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis, Legacy of Kain, etc).

wow. brings back so many memories growing up and playing this game. So satisfying seeing the 1 hit kill moves and so cool! Like many others have said, this definitely deserves a remake/remaster, especially with the anime coming out from Netflix. Cheers!

At first I wanted to do a full Japanese voice rub and add English subtitles manually. But in the end it was faster to just do a English and a Japanese version separately 😂

I remember beating all 3 first games. Except for Dawn of dreams because I got bored. Part was in back in 2008-2009. There was so much rush from playing this game after coming back from home And waiting to get the onimusha transformation at the end. Gogandantes was fun antagonist. Capcom did so well With the 1st 3 parts. Remember grinding trying to master To parry or counter one kill shot.
Back to the mid 2000's, I was given only 10€ by my mother to buy anything I wanted. I went to the game store and there were so many games I wanted but couldn't afford. Then I saw that game, Onimysha Warlord on PS2, platinum edition. I was like "I hope I won't regret this game" I immediately fell in love with the parry system and the vibes, the music, the environment, playing a samurai killing. Demons with swords etc... I was used to Dynasty Warriors but here, the combat were better, you could turn around ennemies with ease, parry more naturally. It was more immersive and I started playing it over and over and over Then I got the 3, and dawn of dream Wich I completed at 100%. I got Onimusha 2 only in 2009 or 2010 but couldn't really finish it as I got my hands on the PS3 soon after. I took time to really complete Onimusha 2 while making these videos hehe 🤗
Problem is the Onimusha franchise was not as famous among the fans as Capcom's other games like: Street Fighter, Devil May, and Resident Evil. Mostly Capcom's other games got remaster/remake because of the fans. Too bad Onimusha short on fans.
@@jackjax7921 Fans making noise would help. Talk about the game, make posts, videos, discussions and generate awareness to make the demand for the product visible. As soon as Capcom notices there's room in the market for it, they'll do something, at the very least a tease. The Oni 1 HD release was probably a cheap way to gauge how well the series would sell. Not sure why they didn't follow it up afterwards with 2, 3 and/or 4.

Hard mode gas very small issen Windows frame wich often lead to a damage. This is why I had to use a lot of saves otherwise I would still be on it 🤣 A no damage in this game is a 7 or 8/10 I'd Say
There only two protag in onimusha series that are close to pure oni ..... First is actually this guy ......his mom is basically a pure blood serpentine oni that practically gave birth to him .... making him a half breed oni that doesn't need the power of the gauntlet.. Second was the reincarnated oni god the black oni ( god of darkness) ....mc was the protag of the fourth series of onimusha storyline.....

Many people didn’t understand the controls. You have to lock on to enemies and move left and right and circle around them and dodge their attacks.

Jubei Yagyu is truly a master of the blade, but when I was playing with him I made him look like a janitor with a broom.

I love that the English voices is a check box for this no damage run.
At first I wanted to do a full Japanese voice rub and add English subtitles manually.
But in the end it was faster to just do a English and a Japanese version separately 😂

Whole series 1-4 deserving of Remakes! I know others love resident evil, but this series is far more deserving of modern-day attention, imo.

There was so much rush from playing this game after coming back from home
And waiting to get the onimusha transformation at the end.

I went to the game store and there were so many games I wanted but couldn't afford.
Then I saw that game, Onimysha Warlord on PS2, platinum edition.
I was like "I hope I won't regret this game"
I immediately fell in love with the parry system and the vibes, the music, the environment, playing a samurai killing. Demons with swords etc...
I was used to Dynasty Warriors but here, the combat were better, you could turn around ennemies with ease, parry more naturally. It was more immersive and I started playing it over and over and over
Then I got the 3, and dawn of dream Wich I completed at 100%.
I got Onimusha 2 only in 2009 or 2010 but couldn't really finish it as I got my hands on the PS3 soon after.
I took time to really complete Onimusha 2 while making these videos hehe 🤗

If Capcom remake these three Onimusha games they would sell lke hot cakes.
Problem is the Onimusha franchise was not as famous among the fans as Capcom's other games like: Street Fighter, Devil May, and Resident Evil.
Mostly Capcom's other games got remaster/remake because of the fans. Too bad Onimusha short on fans.

The Oni 1 HD release was probably a cheap way to gauge how well the series would sell. Not sure why they didn't follow it up afterwards with 2, 3 and/or 4.

Hard mode gas very small issen Windows frame wich often lead to a damage.

There only two protag in onimusha series that are close to pure oni .....
First is actually this guy ......his mom is basically a pure blood serpentine oni that practically gave birth to him .... making him a half breed oni that doesn't need the power of the gauntlet..
Second was the reincarnated oni god the black oni ( god of darkness) ....mc was the protag of the fourth series of onimusha storyline.....
