I feel so bad for Farfa here. The Field spells that Dream Mirrors all revolve around are SRs. The only real starter isnt even in the pack. The pack has 2 other archetypes Its soooo bad. Ur better off banking on Metaphys Meanwhile Doug is out here with the greatest N/R deck in Master Duel
I'm still hoping they revamp the zombie pack and move some other zombie stuff move all the Vendreads to it. It's a god tier N/R deck for no good reason.
It's kinda wholesome how Doug is dogging on Farfa while trying to reassure him. "No no, my deck actually sucks and I'm just clicking random buttons. I'm not even trying to obliterate you this badly!"
Apar from how awful Farfa’s pulls were, I’d also like to say that Doug also had a hell of an opener both games I played a bit of constructed Magikey and that deck bricks like hell. He opened full combo both games with a deck that wasn’t even that optimal since it was drafted

Turns out the real reason Farfa was switched to Roulette was so he could clear out all the bad packs noone wanted to play. We got Assault Mode, Venominaga, and the Mirror pack. Farfa got 3 turns in 2 games and they were all just normal summon Dream Mirror Foe and pass.
I think we should've have taken out the secret packs of archetypes that have a solo gate or have most of their support locked in the legacy packs, it's one thing to not pull a key card despite being an n or r, but it's very unfair if you don't even have a chance to pull them in the first place, I think it's fair to leave outdated secret packs tho, while incredibly low, you DO have a chance to pull the new support out of the master packs.
I like fortune ladies. Sad he passed on it after 2 spins. I used to play it with a chaos and lightsworn package in duel links, and even when I briefly went back to play in 2022 it held up well in ranked. Easy OTK with Dark Carly's skill.
Freaking red eyes OTK was good in duel link, it doesn't mean much. They've always been mega turbo ass and only used as an engine for the most annoying FTKs
God I remember playing FL control in Duel Links, it was so fun just slowly banishing with Every, Silent Magician to negate any spell, Black Rose for a boardwipe (which didn't even effect your monsters with Fortune Vision) Hit KoG a good 4-5 times with the deck. Absolutely adored it!
I think the bigger issue is the three archetypes in the pack. I think he or MBT did this pack last season and uh yeah it was rough.... funnily enough a big reason Farfa's deck was so awful was (true the pulls were bad) jumping into a three archetype pack thinking he can get everything for one deck. Like doug pulled some crazy shit but still had to play two archetypes (although it was mostly magikey)
Before watching the games I’m going to say Doug needs to read the magikey cards their so underrated it’s criminal. Just one of the UR fan beat what ever miss match comes from dream mirror/metaphyst/nemeses

@@darioidk2508 Full Combo(Which Doug didn't have access to) is a Trap Hole, and a OmniNegate that Draws 1 if the Trap Hole goes through. It's better than most rogue decks and can work with some crazy cards like Different Dimension Derby which is a Banishment, Piercing the Darkness which is a Draw 1 Moon Mirror Shield but better. And if you have it in hand, you can also set the Quick play that makes your Magikey Monsters immune to a card effect.
Btw, that Trap Hole effect on the Synchro Transfurlmine is not limited to a single monster. If you Pend Summon he can pop every monster summoned that matches the attribute in GY.
10 Packs really should just guarantee 1 UR at the end, pity system is BS the last slot already has a 20% UR chance so making it 100% after you get 0 UR's really doesn't mean that much.
Well, I like magikey so I'm not gonna complain. Not the best deck in the world, but it can do some good stuff. Dzeef did set up some alright boards even though he missed some extra deck/ritual cards.. And farfa... I feel for him. May the rng gods be kinder in the future.
