What's up, man! It's nice to see the those good old historic streetcars are still running strong. I remembered TTC (a transit agency for toronto) actually uses those similar streetcars Hawker Siddeley CLRV from 1980. Unfortunately, the CLRV are retired and I can't believe that the streetcar (1947 St. Louis PCC) in San Francisco are older than the streetcars in Toronto, and are still in service!
In SF this is more of a "rolling museum" than a continuation of service. A non-profit took over the maintenance and Muni only provides the drivers. The PCCs do the daily service, but they also keep an enormous collection of other exotic trams and streetcars from various countries that are only out on special event days. So it's more than just a transit service, but unlike some other similar operations the locals actually use these as regular transit.
That was a good ride on the streetcar very neat.

Yes. Visit their website to view the complete historical rolling stock www.streetcar.org/san-franciscos-historic-streetcars/
The streetcar you're on was in operation when MetroTransit (MPLS-StP: also has a "T" logo like MBTA, but in red and white) was called Twin City Lines.
Excellent footage! Are you going to visit San Jose soon?
I haven’t had the chance to visit San José…but I am planning to visit there soon.
