This is what we call the "practice makes perfect" or the "Git Gud" pedal. Its less of it being a common fuzz that can cover some mistakes, to something thats an extention of you, and could very well accent yoir mistakes. I need this.
Cool fun fuzz pedal and it sounds decent to me. Kind of inspired me to look into getting some parts together and attempting to make my own. Imagine a tuna can pedalboard. lol Another fun video! Thanks 60 cycle hum
Not my cup of tea sonically, but so cool I have to give props...not just to the video but the pedal is so unique. I love the packaging as well...kinda like the old Danelectro GC stuff and things you could get at department stores.
No I haven't watched the whole video yet. I just had to say something and read immediately after the princetons. Thank you for cranking it up and giving us an extra dose, brother
No kidding I thought of this idea 20 years ago, of course, there is a difference between thinking it and making it, so at least I know I was on to something, cheers to Beetronics for making my dream come true!!!!
And no, I doubt I could have come up with a better circuit design, this Beetronics fuzz is a well engineered cool sounding pedal in a quirky but cool package for sure!
I’m always finding different things I think would make cool enclosures for pedals either to build one or rehouse something, like the metal electrical junction boxes at the hardware store. I was in the process of building a channel switching pedal out of a LS1 valve cover the center bolt holes almost fit a switch perfectly only had to open them up a little bit, but I put it away and wound up moving and I can’t seem to find my valve cover foot switch project. I have also thought PVC could make a cool pedal enclosure like three inch diameter with a plug drilled for switches and controls.
Noticed that Ultex pick laying there on the desk. A man of fine taste in picks also . Seriously Ultex picks were a game changer for me better grip and lasts longer than Tortex that I had always used. The Ultex nearly eliminated pick rotation for me also. I recommend them anytime I get the chance.
It actually sounds really excellent. Like. I wouldn't consider this just a novelty. That's a decently worthwhile fuzz. Entered the giveaway for sure. I could actually use this.
@@carlgatorLOL I made an e-cig out of an Altoids tin once. Then I made one out of a big empty prescription bottle. I think I even used an empty drill bit case at one point lol.
I put my first build in a tuna can ( mentioned in my comment), but as I read your comment I remembered putting a fuzz in a sardine can. I put it on a wood base that I had to cut a hole in since the foot switch was deeper than the can.
I don't know if I'd say it cleans up by rolling off the volume. I'd say it becomes less of a "gnarly fuzz" and more of a "tame fuzz." But, that's just my opinion. It does clean up nicely with the picking dynamic.
@@Jack_S_Albert I'm just going by what I heard here in Ryan's demo. Rolling the volume back made it less gnarly but still fuzzy. It cleaned up more with a softer pick attack.
Sounds somewhere between a muff pi and a fox TM to me. Tin can enclosure means Studio-only, though. Would tempt me some if I couldn't already DIY something similar for $20-30.

I will NEVER get tired of the two princetons gag. Never.
Casio Hall of Fame tonezzzz!
as long as the two princes dont get locked in the tower.
Me neither 🤣
This is neat and all, but if they made a tuner pedal in a tuna can I would buy that immediately.
I’m from Boston - that would just be a “can ‘a tuna”
And a compressor in a sardin can
C'mon man, everyone knows you can't tuna fish.

@@JacubWhite38 a tunah pedal?
Finally a Beetronics pedal which normal people might afford

It needs a 3-way mode switch: Albacore / Skipjack / Yellowfin

This design is crazy, love it 👍
This popped up in my ads the other day, what a great idea!

Merrie Xmas to me! Jingle Buzz, Jingle Buzz, Jingle Buzz on the way!
Gorgeous guitar & Beetronics always do interesting gear.
You should play this fuzz with a Mayon(ai)es(e) guitar, and then cascade it into the Way Huge Fat Sandwich Distortion.
No I haven't watched the whole video yet. I just had to say something and read immediately after the princetons. Thank you for cranking it up and giving us an extra dose, brother
My daughter's cat wants one. He actually loves the Nobels 😂
I really like how you messed around with this pedal . It’s very cool !
this guy just have the best guitars lol that jagstang sparkle wtf ma N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dig that finish on that Jagstang! Narly fuzz as well! \m/
I love fun and fuzz. Great sounding review! thanks!

It sounds really tight!
❤❤❤ so cool Ryan! Thank you! 🎉
It's tuna time! 🤣
This video makes me feel fuzzy Cleveland butterflies in my belly button
Tuna time!
Also goddamn the fuzz on the bass VI punches you in the GUT!!
Stinky crazy idea but works like a charm 🤙🏻
22:42 after listening to the two Princetons for years, this is the moment we discover that the black one is on the left of the mix.
3:22 Beetronics is a basket full of cases!
Steve should have got the second one. But some lucky person can win it.

I got a free sample at an event and now I’m hooked. They just *clink* right.
@@60CycleHumcast they definitely clink and clank really good

Now we need a treble booster made from an Altoids tin.
I've got a different fuzz made from an Altoids can somewhere in my bags of crap...

I hear if you connect 2 Tuna Fuzz cans with a string you can talk to each other...
So why didn't you wear your Tun R Fish T-shirt
I didn’t hear it clean up all that much 😂
But I still bee 🐝 wanting one.
Ok, now I have to repack my CUVAVE in the tuna can I'm eating out of right now.

Is it sustain-ably sourced?
But did they use bumblebee tuna cans?
Needs to make a compressor in a sardine can next!

you can DIY a klon with 30$....most of the pedals actually :D
hell yeah
That's Bad Ass!
I can't tune a piano. But I can tuna fish!
For the love of all that is sacred, please!, get wackier, Ryan!
noise gate?
@@townee23 why ??? It's good with noises...
Is the plural of fuzz, fuzz?
I'll pass. I'm waiting for the corned beef fuzz. More squish VS chew tones.
Clicked on the thumbnail cause I thought woody harrelson was playing a jagstang
You can tuna-fuzz, but you can’t tuna fish 😅
Did I hear a Takeshi Terauchi riff in here?
lol. That’s actually very funny. It’s a riff from a 90s song but I always intentionally play it leaning into that Takeshi vibe.
Did I win?
Can you tuna fish ?😊

No likes? Come on guys this is a classic dad joke haha :)

daang, making that tuna sing.

where is that twin of yours
But can you get a Tuna out of it………………………………………….
Sounds great but that enclosure is a big nope
Nah. It looks really cool 😎 👌
my fuzz only comes from sardine cans
Please check out the Little Bear BS-1 Mammoth Wooly. Awesome affordable adjustable gated fuzz. Two cute Mammoth blue LED eyes. It is sick.
I have one in a box, i just need time to film it
@@60CycleHumcast although the Cuvave copies the Zvex Woolly Mammoth fuzz with a fixed gate ratio the Little Bear is a direct clone.
Doesn't look pedalboard friendly. And kinda flimsy.
Bought because of the hype and slick promotion, not worth the money. There are other brands which give better fuzz.
All fuzz is beautiful.
thats not worth the $100 this sells for. this is highway robbery
