The pageant of the year I guess. Love Miss Earth 🌻🌎. Kudos to TNA ENTERTAINMENT and Vietnam for giving us a great show.
I love seeing non-sash factor countries being crowned. congrats still to the Philippines for doing an excellent job and to the new Ms. Earth Albania.
And fans of the sash factor countries, particularly South Africa and India are reeling in shock. How quickly they forgot the former was once banned from participating and the latter used to struggle to even place.

I agree, Albania blew me away with how she answered her question in the top 8. The way she answered was very conversational, engaging, not as if she is delivering a speech. She is confident but not over bearing. It was her crown to lose after that and I am so glad she won.

I rooted for Netherlands other than Philippines. But I was happy that Albania won. She did an amazing job in the competition.

Miss Earth has, over the past decade, proven itself to be quite the training ground for ladies who plan to join other pageants such as Miss Universe.
Kudos to the org for crowning a new country that hasn't worn the crown for six years in a row, not to mention the last 3 aren't big pageant countries - Belize, Korea, and Albania.
That I will give Miss Earth. MU is the worst offender, only two countries since 2011.
I recall seeing an interview for Miss Philippines wherein she said she and her designer prepared that blue “zippers” gown for the finals. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to wear it because of the color requirement for the finals.
I like Albania so much. Glad to see an Albanian woman win one of the major pageants.

A nobody cared in Albania while in Nicaragua, the whole country was celebrating.

mess earth a minor pageant. phillipines is in bent to Vietnam. the pageant in itself is a mess when held in phillipines. The audacity of filipinos trying to take credit is embarrassing

I had Albania (with Puerto Rico) as my top faves pre-arrival and continued during the pageant. On coronation night, YES TOTALLY AGREE she SHINED the BRIGHTEST. I had for my final placements: Albania, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam

sashing the runners up this way was actually an idea that is being done by miss earth philippines and carousel waaaay before Nawat of MGi started it/. Ergo, CArousel only does it before in local pageant. when Nawat adopted it, Miss Earth did it too in their bigger pageant.

@DaniWalker the plates at the back of Miss PH gown is her presentation or give tribute to the ME logo. Her symbolizing as an earth warrior and a woman of the earth through her evening gown.

Sashing the remainder of the Top 8 as Runners-up is something that Miss Earth started (and copied by Miss Grand International) since the remaining 3 of the Top 4 are not considered Runners-up but Elemental Queens who have their own duties and advocacies pertaining to the element they won.
It's TNAs Idea i don't think they will keep it after Vietnam hosting.
I am surprised nobody have yet do a ripoff pageant based on one of the other elements, like Miss Fire Beauty, or Miss Water Worldwide or Miss Queen of the Air.😝

Whenever Albania got on the mic, I always felt she was gonna win. That glow and vibe of a Miss Earth was there. I feel bad for those who got cut due to translator issues

Can you also do Pageant Recap on Old Pageants (2000s-2015 and sometimes 90s and 80s or 70s) you can also depend your judging of their old performances (based on how the standards were followed back then) and i hope so you can also do a pageant recap with your entire or some of your miss usa 2018 batch or just some of your friends who are interested in pageant

This year they were especially challenging. I feel like they weren’t this difficult in recent editions.

Great recap. I think you missed Canada's form and figure round when her wrap fell down her feet then she flicked it up and caught it in time.
Vietnam was a great host, and they will host Miss Earth again in 2024. Despite the stage and pageant was great, there are always room for improvement - like some camera angles and when transition from one segment to another. Otherwise, kudos for Vietnam
A few countries were missed from the top 20 recap (myself included) 😅 It's all love though, I love Dani's content regardless ❤

Miss Philippines gown, the silver plate is a woven silver colored plate native to ASEAN countries. The pose is supposed to emulate the Miss Earth Logo.

Miss earth is really interesting
Philippines EG: the detachable back piece served no purpose other than so she could mimick the Miss Earth logo in her final pose.
And it also looks like the "reduce, reuse, recycle" ♻️ symbol
It was an idea that perhaps was great in theory but was underwhelming, even confusing, in terms of execution.

Philippines during the evening gown competition was replicating the Miss Earth logo when she removed that piece on the back of her dress and raised it up in the air. #missearth #logo

I love this channel and I am a fan of Dani. I just noticed some of her videos Dani most of the time highlights the factors why the title holder won the crown but not really pointing out the aspects where the title holder kinda failed or what she's lacking that needs improvement. Idk but that's just my opinion. Still, I love her and enjoy her videos.

Nobody is perfect and those who win are those who make you focus on their strengths so you do not even see or notice their flaws.

The evening gown of Albania is design by Vietnam designer
Albania did great, but she needs your beautiful hair! Her hair seemed like it had not been colored or cut in a long time.
Since the pageant was outside it really caused a lot of flyaways. My hair would have done the same thing in the wind outdoors. If you see her at appearances shortly after winning, her hair is styled beautifully

Albania’s hair looked like it got a bad bleached job. I know she’s not a real blonde.
@@PungiFungi Yes, it has dark roots that need cleaned up and it needs a deep conditioner. It's an easy fix though and she is gorgeous!
In my gut feeling they base Their decision to the first questions and disregard the final question because no one did answer that.
That question is very hard for a stage question and answer...
Dunno if you noticed that the Philippines when she removed that thing from her gown and raised it...she intentionally did it to mimic the Miss Earth logo.

Miss Earth should invest in interpreters for non-english speaking contestants.
Nah. Pinoys had been harping for years about the ability to speak English. Turns out this is not even a requirement for Miss Earth. Given how the competition is stacked in favor of English speakers they should just drop the facade and make English a requirement and showed how cheap and non- international this pageant really is.
