    Your video is great with dated follow up. Thunbs up❤
    I wish many other yoot- yoobers would post flowering follow up like you did.
    I would say , you can plant only 3 per pot and space them less crowded.
    They need the space to develop a crown of leaves, and in return they will bloom much taller and robust.
    Happy gardening 🌷🌷🐛

    Thank you so much for sharing and showing us every stage of growing foxgloves. I love TH-camrs who just go straight to the point instead of rambling for the first 10min 🤭 But I do have a question, I started my seeds a few weeks ago and in one cell I have way too many seedlings. The seeds are so tiny it was so difficult to just sow one. When do I start separating the seedlings? Do I wait right before they’re transplanted into their individual bigger pots before transplanting them into the ground?

    • @GardeningWise
      @GardeningWise  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Leave them until they are big enought to be transplanted, like 3-4 sets of true leaves. You can start feeding them once a week. You can then plant them outside directly or in pots. Some seedlings may die so always plant more than you need.

    I am so glad to have found a video that shows how to grow Foxgloves in pots. It is very helpful! Did I understand this correctly - you just leave the pots outside in winter and you don't cover them with anything, even if its snowing?

    • @GardeningWise
      @GardeningWise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you are right. But I am in a mild climate where temp hardly drops below -5C. So in a colder climate, it's worthing putting them in a cold frame.

    Can you use potting mix instead of soil? When u start with seeds? Will it still grow😁

    • @GardeningWise
      @GardeningWise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea always use potting mix in containers for starting seeds and in containers. I may have said soil out of habit.

    Hi love this video. My seedlings are growing well and we are going into winter. Im just wondering what should I do once the flowers have bloomed and fallen off. Do I trim it down? Will it flower again or what to fo with it?

    • @GardeningWise
      @GardeningWise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are zone 8 and mine have been coming back for a couple of years. In cooler climates they are treated as annuals. You can also collect seeds and sow them now in a cold frame and overwinter the seedlings and next year coming spring they could be planted outside.

    I noticed you were handling these foxgloves without gloves on hand... foxgloves are poisonous to everything except bees and butterflies... are you still alive???

    • @GardeningWise
      @GardeningWise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yes I am still alive and doing well. They are poisonous to consume and may cause skin irritation. It is recommended to wear gloves and/or wash hands afterwards. TBH there are many plants which are poisonous to some extent so I always wash hands thoroughly.

  • @rameshkhatak
