@@stephaniemartin-ward4578 I wonder how the 8 years of being the top Chechen mob boss in LA has weathered Hank. Is there any trace of the Hank we knew left after Ep 4. and with him back with the family?
bill said he was indeed breaking in the accordion scene. and i love the detail of hank playing upbeat pop music as he drives away from barry after being so serious and threatening.
The way Barry treated Hank drove insane. Like I get why that’s part of what makes the show incredible storytelling, but Jesus I always wished he would share some of the grotesque amount of sympathy and concern he had for Mr. Cousineau with Hank. Hank deserved it. He was a genuinely kind person who knew Barry and forgave a lot of his sins. Gene was a lifelong asshole always looking out for himself and always willing to throw someone under the bus out of convenience, personal gain or because common decency didn’t even occur to him. Barry was so incredibly perceptive about *some* things, but wildly naive about most things. The way he aligned himself with Gene and constantly used or mistreated Hank is the best example of that.
If you consider that he was trying to get out of the business, it makes sense that he'd align with Sally and Gene, because they weren't "in the game", and against Hank and Fuches, who were always trying to pull him back in.
To me it looked like Barry considered Hank a weak idiot and didn't bother with him. Hank always wanted something from Barry, and it was something Barry never wanted to do. It's also quite funny how rude he was to Hank for no apparrent reason.
I think some people are misunderstanding these moments where Hank is being serious or threatening. That side of him is not the “real” him, but rather the mask he wears in tough situations. As he said in the burning bus, he really should be a hotel manager or something because he’s just a really nice guy at heart. This is all alluded to in the final episode of the show, when Fuches confronts Hank about lying to himself about who he is. He hides behind a stone cold mask because it makes it easier to live his life of crime. But deep down, he just wants to be a nice, hospitable guy to everyone around him.
I really took it as the opposite. I felt like towards the end they were trying to reconcile his adorable character with the type of psychopathic things he actually does for work.
@@SmokeRingHalo Barry isn't evil to his core. He does evil things, but regrets them deeply. That's kind of the entire point. People are more nuisanced than good or bad, and I've found this to be true of almost every person I know IRL.

Anthony Carrigan is a fantastic actor, and this series is his best performance so far. He's sooo going to go places.
he endeared himself to the entire planet playing hank haha

Barry actually looked concerned here. Hank broke down a wall forsure when he threatened the acting class.
Unfortunately that's the real Hank.
First time the audience realizes Hank is one of the more dangerous guys on the board.

You talk as if we know wtf you're talking about. There are like a dozen different scenes in this video.
The scary Hank scene was SO good and I’m really glad it’s being included in edits like these!!!!!
And became hilarious when the music starts and he drives off 😂
This for me was the best scene of the entire series.
@@Coconutyorkiesame! I just love little details like that.
My fav Noho Hank quote: “Fly away like Bugs Bunny in Space Jam.”
"im relaxed, im super relaxed guy" how can someone not love him

"Oh my god..... I vomited." 😂

I always thought we'd get the backstory of what happened to Barry's parents that made him so desperate for a father figure.

NoHo Hank as a character/Anthony Carrigan as an actor deserve a spin-off series.
There has never been an actor and character who could go from fucking hilarious to absolutely terrifying like this. I LOVE Noho Hank.

No, Hank & Fuches need to go, Barry also probably. All of them are evil to the core.

After Viktor Zass being great too, great acting great actor.
This would have been a much shorter show if Hank didn't look out for Barry so often. He'd have died before the end of S1.
