Great video, thank you very much. Also appreciate the distance in km. But quiet weird as an european that you eat burger, subway sandwich, chips and hotdogs during such adventures. Maybe an US thing, but definitly delicious.
Wiehan, this video is perfect! I’m so glad we met you out there and inconspicuously rode together day 1 and 2 and intentionally rode together day 3 and 4. It’s so ironic we have footage of each other from Black Sheep coffee shop to the very end! Thank you for capturing this life changing ride and constructing this memory to have for a lifetime!
So glad you liked the video! I really wanted to do this route justice with this edit. It was such an unforgettable experience…fun, challenging, exhausting and yet thrilling all at the same time. Thanks so much for the kind words in this comment. Getting to ride with you guys kicked this adventure up to a whole other level. We’ll just have take on another adventure again sometime soon!
So glad that you are enjoying the content! Thanks for coming along on the ride. Please spread the word to anyone you think might also enjoy this channel.
Hi Wiaan it’s Mike from Cape Town. How are things your side? I am missing more content from you. Hope all is well hope to see you in the saddle soon boet.
Hi Michael! Thanks for checking in! All is still going well. I know, I’ve been very slow to get new videos out. But, the good news is that the next one is very close to being done. Look out for it by the end of the week.
I’m working on my next video and blog post now and it covers exactly that question. I’ll give a detailed view of all my gear in the next video…stay tuned!
It looks like you did the stage race, which I'm looking at doing. Does the registration fee cover camping, or does one need to make their own reservations?
Yep. I took the stage race approach, but tweaked it as I showed in the video. Stage 3 was too short and 4 too long, so we ended off day 3 further down the route. The “race” part wasn’t actually happening, so it was more a staged ride. No registration fee for this one, only a donation to trail building in the area. Thus no camping was included. The Braley pond area was free camping and night 3’s road-side camping was obviously also free, only the Douthat State park needs to be reserved in advance.
wowww....thanks for sharing.....👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks fun and dude… you are ripped!
This was my favorite video you’ve made (along with unPAved Susquehanna). 🤙
Thanks so much! I have a own personal favorites too, and I also rank these two among them😁
Your videos are so well done. Thanks!
Love your videos, your ability to dig deep and record it is great inspiration! Well done on a great 2022 season !

That’s awesome! Thanks for following along with the adventure all the way from the Philippines.
That was epic. Well done!
That's a lot of climbing mate. And steep too. Your 'nads must've tripled their size on that last day. You're awesome 👍🏼
Virginia is not flat! I can speak from experience. Thanks for watching!

Looks fantastic. May I ask what stuff went in each bag on your bike?

@@MountainRoadRide Thanks for the info, loved the video!
I'd like to follow you on Strava... what name should I search for?
If you search for Mountain-Road.com on Strava you should be able to find me very easily.
This is hard for me to watch. I have failed at both acquiring fanatic admiration and completing a 250 mile epic bike packing adventure.
Whoever would do something like this has some screws loose
🤪 Yeah, who would want to do such a crazy epic thing!
