    As someone in a wheelchair, the side opening is a massive plus as it allows easy access without the door getting in the way.

    Would definitely recommend swapping the placement of the combi microwave and the combi steam oven!
    So smaller microwave but larger steam oven.

    These are amazing. I purchased the 24 inch and 30 inch convection wall ovens 12 years ago. I have loved them so much. When we downsize, I told my husband that Gaggenau ovens were the first thing I was putting in the new house. Cooking from the enamel pans is super easy and they clean up super easily too so that it's worth every penny. The time I have saved from not having to scrub pans is worth it. Just a question, why don't the steam ovens use enamel and are the aluminum pans in this oven easy to clean like the others?

    • @pirch9868
      @pirch9868  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use the enamel pans in the oven, but it comes with the aluminum pans. The enamel is naturally easier to clean, but the aluminum pans are not difficult to clean.

    The only aspect of the Gaggenau ovens that cost an absolute fortune in Australia, they still only have a two year warranty. Surely a $12,000 oven should come with quite a long warranty but it doesn’t.

    • @pirch9868
      @pirch9868  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They often have a 5-for-5 promotion where if you purchase 5 Gaggenau appliances (typical full kitchen of appliances) you get 5 year warranty on them all. That said, we know of a customer that has a kitchen of Gaggenau appliances that are 40 years old and still work great.

    • @MaZEEZaM
      @MaZEEZaM 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@pirch9868 Yes, there is a current promotion for some bonus if you spent $20,000. I can barely afford to buy one oven at around $12,000.

    Great video! Very helpful introduction indeed. I am looking to have a similar set up here in Australia, but the oven measures 67cm high, where as the espresso machine is 45cm, and the vacuum drawer only comes in 14 cm, (so 45+14= 59cm) I struggle to see how you managed to fit them the way you did. Does the vacuum drawer comes in a taller size in the US? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!! 😊

      @@pirch9868 Not just the vacuum drawer but also the warming drawer does not come in the taller size. To achieve this configuration 60cm x 21cm warming/vacuum drawer is needed. Gaggenau only has a 76cm x 21cm Warming Drawer in the 400 series. Not sure how you managed to get this configuration.

    The Vacuum drawer is great BUT the Vacuum Bags are always SOLD OUT, PLUS WHO WANTS TO SPEND $100.00 FOR SOME BAGS. You can buy a cheaper vacuum system and never run out of bags that cost 80% less. Gaggenau is a excellent cooking product but would look at other brands that support cooking.
