@CordCuttersNews, for as much as a PRIME membership costs, we shouldn't have to pay extra to go commercial free. Just my opinion though.
I agree….it annoys me SO much I don’t even watch anything on Prime. I’m sure they’re devastated 😂

Amazon will continue to increase its yearly prime membership fee, and this is like salt in the wound effectively eliminating a fundamental benefit.
That’s why I buy from my local stores, Ebay and use other streaming services. I don’t see a need to pay for their service.
Agreed, and what's funny is I often find the same items on the Bay site for cheaper, or the same price with the free shipping, and I've even had stuff I've bought there that were Amazon dropped shipped with the same shipping speed as prime. 😅

Think that they should offer a slight discount to Firestick users. Especially if they are planning to move away from an Android OS to Linux and remove some functionality from present Firesticks. Have the discount apply to the proposed fee to avoid commercials.

Went to subscribe to Prime Video the only option they gave me was 1499 with commercials there was no secondary plan So how do I get the no commercials Then
The problem is I bought Netflix and it’s cool but most of the things that I wanna watch are on amazon prime but I don’t even like this renting thing it makes no sense
for the Live TV though, you need to have a cable subscription, right? i wanted to remove my cable and just have my Prime Video and still access live TV like local news? how can i do that?

OH YEAH i just, realized that amazon took off the 30 day notice off when you rent the a movie ,they remined you how long you have down to the hr. somethimes i've forgotten to watch a movie with the rememinder [you have 30-days] ,and now they take the notice away. WTF for.

when the ads come i won't be using amazon prime movies etc. I'm a prime member but just won't use it as i can see alot of that content without ads elsewhere. They will lose some customers doing this.

The video doesn't tell me everything I need to know. I have a senior discounted prime membership, supposedly with free prime video as well. When I go into the section of the Amazon website, every video shows as Rent or Buy. There is no link to push to get any other type of access. Nothing that says "this section has free videos".
If I have purchased movies/shows but cancel my subscription can I still watch any purchased content?

A person I work with said she just calls and says she bought it accidentally or her young daughter bought it. They cancel the charge no questions asked.
Yes, if you rent or buy but DONT watch the movie, they will reimburse you. It happened to me.

She rents a movie….watches said movie….calls and tells whomever that her young daughter rented it before she got home. This woman (who I can’t stomach, btw) is adept at manipulating any system.
So idk, I’m no saint, but that’s just wrong. You and I pay higher rates because of people like her!!

When so many other sites offer free shipping on items often at lower prices with no membership fees, and nearly the same shipping times, then I just don't see Prime being worth it as they keep jacking up the cost, and when very very little of their streaming content is something I would want to watch anyways. Honestly there are far more cheaper alternatives for streaming that are free, or low cost like Peacock with tons, and tons of content.
I only joined Prime for the free shipping. In my opinion there is nothing worth my time to watch on Prime Video.
@@soninChina Is it really free if your paying a yearly fee? Just make an order over $35, and they give you free shipping, and I've even seen it for select items under that. Same goes for Walmart that often times just give you free shipping regardless of the item cost, and yeah you might have to wait a few extra days, but if you're not in a rush who really cares.

still cant filter free from paid, just got amazon not so fun to pick out a movie they peppered thru miles of paid content. cable always out performed streaming, it will never come back but tv is just a pain in the butt. 40 min to find a free movie.

Even if you cancel Prime you don't lose it. As long as Amazon doesn't shutdown Prime Video.

What I don’t like is they include Amazon music they need to have an option without that with lower cost I don’t sue Amazon music.
It would be nice if FTC would actually do something about Amazon charging people for Prime membership even if they don't sign up for it. It has been going on for years and it never stopped yet FTC has done nothing. We have protection of oligarchy but no protection of consumers.

Yeah! It costs more than the costco executive membership.
The annual is still a good deal. It averages to about $11 a month. That's basically 1 burger combo at a restaurant
@@EdwardStettler When so many other sites offer free shipping on many of their items with no membership fees, and often at times with just as good of shipping speeds given how overworked all the delivery services are, Prime 2 day becomes a joke in many parts of country. Plus there are so many free, and lower cost streaming services out now that have just as much, if not more content, and so as Prime keeps jacking up their rates it's just not worth it.
In my opinion prime video is the worst of all the paid apps so that would be a hard no for extra money out of my pocket I hardly use it anyway

I'm watching your video, you say you use a android device. For 2.99 you can rent it, for 4.99 you can buy it. You preferred to pay for it. At this point I left.
Amazon has really fell off after Jeff bezo left. I mean really you got a good thing going with a prime membership just raise the price a little bit, confusing the customer with an get rid of ads extra package really .🤣😂 I don't even think Amazon does two day deliveries anymore. I can get something in about a day or two from Walmart and about a week or two from Amazon.
I recently bought something off Amazon as I could not find it anyplace else cheaper(PC RAM for my new build), and I accidently clicked join prime as I was in a hurry doing the order at work, so had it free for a month in Nov., and yep even having a newly built Amazon warehouse in my area about 45 mins away, some if the items I ordered during that time took well over a week to almost 2 weeks to get to me.
Also I agree Walmart seem to have faster shipping without paying for their service, and even eBay where I've had the exact same items on Amazon sent faster for free, and several times inside of an Amazon prime shipping box with free shipping, and no sub fees just as fast if not faster. 😅
lastly all things considered I've had really good luck with Aliexpress shipping me hard to find electronic parts in a timely manner, and oftentimes with better packing materials used.

Prime members pay for those rockets Bezos flies around in. Bezos isn't going to pay for these expensive rockets himself.

I would not buy any video that is on 4k uhd disc..They could remove them after a certain time period as we have seen..I buy mine months later at a discount ..like DUNE for $ 11.00..
