@@preston_4824 yeah that's what I'm doing😂 I told my parents I'll pay for 700$ of it if i have to cause in February my parents bought me a sonic blue kc mustang which was over twice as much as the jag stang and I didn't pay for any of it so now I have to spend my own money😂😂
@@brettpotts8 I rather see a reissue of the Mustang. This is the 3rd time they’re doing the Jagstang, Kurt didn’t even use it that much. Kurt used his Mustangs way more, we need another run of the Mustangs!!!
I honestly never liked the way the JB pickup sounded in Kurt's guitars, especially live . Maybe that's just me . Its Too treble sounding I think. That JB pickup was probably good for back then but that was 30 years ago. This one sounds more clear and with better midrange frequency range to me. More versatile too.
To me, a week pickup being boosted by the amp and pedals sound way better than a high pickup in the same setup. You hear more with a lower output because you’re not playing a usually muddy pickup through tons of audio modifications
this is far better than any of the demo's of the new re-release of the jag-stang. i dont know if its your playing or the quality of the 2002 versus the new one. it's far better than any of the demos of the original version too. this is the best one and you play great. this makes me want to buy one if i had the money.BUt i already have my dream guitar, a horizon red prs silver sky.I am sure i could get the same tones on my silver sky. what pedal and amp are you using? you sound awesome

I believe its a Fender Santa-Ana Pickup in the bridge because the H-3/H-8 pickup was only in the prototype that kurt's jagstang had later changed to JB

get a light mustang, doesnt matter if its a new one. Try to just go to the lightest one you can get
