Great recommendations! Btw, (est. 1828) Guerlain is one of the oldest fragrance houses in the world and recently added skincare/cosmetic lines. They don't design anything in contrast to Chanel and Dior. So they are clearly a niche fragrance house.

Outremer Vanille from Anthropologie is beautiful straight up Vanilla scent. It an EDT and last very long. Projection is good. Compliment getter and definitely affordable. I love wearing it by itself or with Commodity Gold to hype up the vanilla and Amber notes in that scent😊

Nice list.. Carlisle definitely has vanilla. Fragrantica has the note list wrong. Topnotes are green apple and nutmeg. Middlenotes are tonka bean, saffron, osmanthus, davana, and rose. Basenotes are vanilla, patchouli, opoponax, and sandalwood. Carlisle has aspects of several PDF scents...Layton, Herod, Oajan, and Nisean. It's like they all did some voodoo magic and had a baby together LOL

You should try Vanille 44 from Le Labo, and it's one of their "City Exclusive" fragrances; i believe, probably their best!

Do you think those stores you listed sell authentic parfums?...especially "Fragrantica", and other such places i have seen on the internet, like "FragranceX.com", and the like?
I wanted to buy a lot of their remaining 'Un Bois Vanille' bottles (especially the discontinued packaging -- NOT the current, Black Bottle Collection). but i reversed my anticipation as i feared they were counterfeits.
Prices werevjust way too good to be true.

Definitely agree with the simplicity of Magnificent Gold. One of only 3 in the Oriental Collection that I really enjoyed. Don't get much vanilla in Carlisle though. Could be my skin.

You have to try Tangier Vanille by Aerin (as in Aerin Lauder). I bought Vanigula at your recommend and love it. This Aerin fragrance has a bit more of a spice to it, but so awesome!

You got me hooked on Memo Paris Granada and I wanted to try more from the house and got the Lalibela. Its a Vanilla fragrance, It is amazing and reminds me a lot of Serge Lutens Un Boise Vanille but more intense and with coconut hint, you need to try it, I think you would really love it.
If you like straight up vanilla :) I can also recommend Absolu de Vanille from La Maison de la Vanille. It's a really warm and sweet scent which somehow always makes me feel like it's Christmas when I wear it.

Back in the day it was decent. Unfortunately, it's been reformulated and is much more of a musk fragrance now. My mother wore it, and I still have an OG bottle. I don't wear it, just sniff the nozzle for scent childhood memories.
