Im going to be honest, but if Dazai knew about Fyodor's ability, Fyodor wouldn't have gotten past prison arc. Fyodor wins high diff. Dazai prob gonna cook in like the next volume.
just food for thought, when Dazai got arrested, perhaps that was also a part of Fyodor's plan. When the guy who arrested Dazai touched him, he said that he sensed rage. Now this rage could be from Dazai knowing that he let himself fall for the framing planned by Fyodor to have him be captured by the Hunting Dogs and thus forcing him to take the defensive stance in a place where Fyodor knew his way around better. Because you also have to take into account that Fukuchi was working with Fyodor, so Fyodor can pretty much just give the information about Dazai to Fukuchi at any point in time. Fukuchi just so happened to be the head of the Hunting Dogs and thus could order his subordinate around as we see that a lot in both the manga and the anime. He may not have foreseen Nikolai breaking them out of prison, but Dazai's arrest seemed to be in tune with what he would do. I imagine it'd be boring as hell to be surrounded by idiots, Dazai was both his nemesis and entertainment. Also it would be better to lock Dazai up and prevent him from coordinating with his team effectively than to let him run around while Fyodor sits there slightly disadvantaged.
I feel like since all of Dazai's "wins" over Fyodor were things that were just a part of Fyodor's plans, AND that it takes Dazai on the inside and Ranpo on the outside just to keep up with Fyodor is telling to how smart he is. That they need 2 super geniuses on their side to content with the ultra genius Demon Fyodor should on its own show who really comes out on top. If it was just Dazai or just Ranpo vs Fyodor, it would easily be Fyodor as the victor imo.
Chosing a pathway that leads to victory that your oponnent can't see, means that you outplayed him.Fyodor wasn't alone in his schemes. He had people around him everytime, people over which he had more control than Dazai or Rampo. He literally had an army of zombies. Why Dazai won is because of his ability to read people and see beyond appearences, basically, seeing their potential. Fyodor was unable to have that kind of insight, that is why he lost. He basically lost because Dazai saw through him, and was expecting Fyodor to chose the security card. But Fyodor couldn't completely read Dazai, which is why he was surprised. Emotional intelligence is a part of intelligence aswell, and Dazai beat Fyodor because of that and chose the right pathway that led him to victory. You can say that Fyodor is a bit smarter, but Dazai is a bit more intelligent(asuming that intelligence encompases a larger area of abilities than just being able to manipulate information in your head, which is smartness).
@TuringTest-i5o Are you caught up on the manga? Bc if you are, you'd know that Fyodor expected Dazai to "win" against him in prison and even planned ahead for it to make sure he got exactly what he needed out of their little prison escape game. Dazai even told him that BECAUSE he predicted his ability was touch based (turns out it's not), he chose the helicopter death trap for Fyodor. But that was exactly what Fyodor was expecting Dazai to do. So in reality, dazai was always 2 steps behind. If you aren't caught up, sorry for the spoilers, but just like you said, "choosing a path that leads you to victory that your opponent didn't expect means you outplayed him." That is literally what Fyodor just did to Dazai. He outplayed him. Dostoyevsky is literally just better than Dazai, but that's ok. Bc I'm sure they'll win somehow.

Im going to be honest, but if Dazai knew about Fyodor's ability, Fyodor wouldn't have gotten past prison arc.
Fyodor wins high diff. Dazai prob gonna cook in like the next volume.
this was a really fun read! how long did that take lmao
It took a solid 15 minutes to write lmao.
just food for thought, when Dazai got arrested, perhaps that was also a part of Fyodor's plan. Also it would be better to lock Dazai up and prevent him from coordinating with his team effectively than to let him run around while Fyodor sits there slightly disadvantaged.
fyodor vs light next ? (lmao)
Can you do BB vs near vs mello or just BB vs near/mello
I'd rather be against Koji than these two mfs. Obviously I'm going to lose in both situations, but at least I won't have ptsd about it

@@brysonmark878 Oh, ok, didn't know that. Thanks ! I actually watched the anime only and thought about reading the manga, so I was looking to see if Fyodor is actually dead and I saw alot of people being unsure, which made me believe that in the manga he is still dead, or at least that there isn't something specific that suggests the fact that he is alive. I should read the manga. No worries for the spoilers, I got my answer.
