Thanks Rusty. Good to know. I use my pro1000 almost every day. So I never had a problem so far. I have been using qimage for about 3 years now. Great program. I still renew my subscription to support them and keep the software alive.
Hi Rusty, any chance you can solve this problem for me. I was doing a print but had to cancel it. So I pressed the red button under the on/off button and chose cancel from the options. Now the printer, Canon Pro 1000, is saying "Processing please wait momentarily" but that has been going on for about 1/2 an hour now. Any ideas ?
@@RustyNelsonPhotography Hi Rusty, Yeah I thought the same thing so I just turned it off and then turned it back on, did a head alignment and jobs a good one. Got to admit though, I've only had the printer for about 5 weeks and that was kinda scary lol.
I've not used my Pro-1000 for a while. When I turned it back on an error message came up ..1206 this refers to the door to the maintenance cartridge being open. The door is not open! I tried unplugging etc but the error remains. I can't see a micro switch for the door but I assume there is one, I may have to dismantle the printer....Canon are not a great help with these units and this is the third one I've owned...good printers until they go wrong; then they are junk😡.
I'm sure you have it right but make sure that latch is all the way down on the door. Also pull the cart in and out a few times...even try a new one if you have one. When you unplug it try hitting the power switch a bunch of times. THis depletes the capacitors. I know that has helped but not sure that is your problem. Best of luck and let us know what happens.
You have to print every 3 or 4 days with that printer at least running nozzle check or something if you let it sit for any length of time it's going to clog up badly

Thanks for sharing. Yes great program. I'll get back into it very soon. GOing over old photos now. Funny when you look back on stuff.
The unclog program is what sold me on Qimage1 and love their support!
Yes great folks to work with.
Hi rusty
Apart from unseating the cartridges any other solution you might have found for 6910
Hard reset button combo
Rusty. I have the Prograf 1000 and i get the 1006 no paper in the manual feed tray, but paper is there. Cant fix it! Any ideas?
