I think I'm to blame for The Lonely Londoners rec - one of my absolute favourite modern classics, I mentioned it in that Top 5 Classics tag we did last year!

I can't wait to hear what you think of it! It's amazing that you had so few repeat books and so many books that you had never heard of. I added sooo many of these to may want to read list. The Mermaid of Black Conch is on one of the book lists I need to read... But I've attempted it a few times now and haven't gotten into it yet. I got 3 Samuel Beckett books for xmas, bc my dad and I went to see a performance based on his work earlier this year. Happy New Year!
