I was in the same field as the Aries meditation; it's like a cultivated wheat field. In the north is a town just in eyesight, to the south and all around me are mountains, I know somehow there is a river in those woods. A woman and a ewe come to me. The woman is named Idun, she smiles and is serene. The sheep feels so kind and loving. Like the personification of domestic life and happiness. We talk for a time about many things, and she shows me my life as a tree in sandy soil. The roots are there but need better ground to be truly stable. Before a good storm comes and washes it away.
There were also short bursts of images of a unicorn which is a recurring symbol, a dragon also a recurring image, and diamonds.
In my field, I found a metal box. It's like one of those boxes you'll find behind businesses covering air conditioner units or something along those lines. It's a hefty metal box, it won't move. I sat on it because why not? I've also noticed this metal box is green and rusty all over from the exposure to the weather. It also has a couple of labels on it that are also weather worn.
Labels are put on things to warn people or to instruct them. Sometimes these get outdated, worn out or need replacement. I mean, it's pretty obvious that although I posses these qualities, the idea's/thoughts (labels) I have may need changing due to the natural changes (weather) in my life. I feel this is something I am very aware of and constantly work on. Of course leave it up to me to sit on the metal box. It's almost like doubling down on something I'm very stubborn about. It could also mean I'm just secure sitting on it. I do wonder what's inside the box. I do note the edges of the thing are pointy and harsh, not comfortable. I'm also ok with sliding off that metal box and letting it fly away like a rocket if it meant it would be helpful at all. I'm not holding on to anything anymore lol.
Hey SleepyLee… great job interpreting your experience. I like what you noted about labels being there to warn someone. What does it mean when a label is worn out and you can’t read it anymore?
For me, the metal box in a field seems to represent a strong juxtaposition of industrial, harsh and controlled, vs. the free and abundant nature and essence. In this case several parts of the box are interacting with nature, but the box is remaining steadfast for-itself and becoming damaged, rather than synthesising. I remember from your account of The World exercise, it was the earth section that was most challenging, and you mentioned a fear of becoming robotic. In the Shadow Room exercise you mentioned oppressiveness and also wanting things to be put away in their right place. Is there a theme or common conflict to what you experienced across these three exercises?
In what ways are your thoughts looking to change? Maybe what’s inside the box could offer some clues. I wonder what would happen if you re-entered the scene and took a look inside? :)
@@makeitconscious You have a good memory! I will think about it, thank you so much.
