    This is the best instruction out there , no long winded intro just straight to the point and quality information. The speed the right hand is the best instruction pure gold

    Man, I’m so glad I found your channel. I started hitting a lot of balls lately and started to discover some of the things you teach on my own, but would move away from them because I thought I must be building a bad habit because it isn’t what most people are teaching. For example, I noticed moving the ball back in my stance made better contact but stopped pursuing it. I stopped tilting my shoulders but decided that must be a bad habit, even though it felt like it made me feel like it put the backswing on the wrong path since it felt like the club would have to go underground to start the backswing. I took a lesson last week because I wanted some help, and said “it feels to me like I should move the ball back in my stance a little for the low point in a draw” and he said no, it should be up in the front. He did help me notice I had early release and wasn’t moving to my front foot well enough, which I agreed, but everything you teach makes more sense and feels correct from just a plain physics point of view of a swing circle. It’s very nice to know it’s “ok” to go in this direction instead of feeling forced to try to get this to work with ball forward and shoulders tilted back with a very awkward swing.

    I figured this out the other day, ball back in stance and a nice draw was there. Driver has been a struggle up til now… and I blame every instructor out there telling ball position way up at stance

    Just came back from the range, square and close stance doesn't work but open stance was very alien to me. decide to aim left of target and release earlier but this time letting go both arm and let it fully extend rather than chicken wing, looking back at the my recording. felt a sense of freedom, Marcus you deserve 200k sub

    Nice job Marcus. My slice went to a straight left pull, then i moved the ball back and started hitting 280 yards.

    How about the loft on driver. I’m 74 and use a driver with 10degree loft. Should I be using a lower or higher lofted driver?

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad

      It all depends on how you launch the ball and what spinning speed you get. I cant's answer without getting a chance to measure your numbers.

    Hi Marcus, should the club face be pointing towards sky at address or flat on the ground like irons? Maybe silly question but I’m a beginner golfer. Thank you

      Hi, I like it slightly opened and hovering at the ball. 👍

    Marcus, thank you for this video. Saw you numbers on the screen from your drives, I did/could not see how many degrees you are hitting up with your driver setup position. Can you share that if you don’t mind. The reason that I ask is that the concept of moving driver ball set up further could be for more runway to hit the driver on the upswing.

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi. The drives I hit in the video is about 5 degrees on the upswing. The simulator does not se that but that is my normal attack. You don’t need more runway to hit more up. You need to do a erlier release so the cluhead reach the ground erlier. We do not want to lose the inside path. You can make it. 👍

    Whats the best way to know how to have the right tilt at set up Marcus?🙏

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think tilt is the important thing to decide. Ball position and weight balance in set up will give you a certain tilt.
      Try to have a small tilt at set up and some more till at impact. That will give us a good upward strike on the ball.

  • @Mbsmoothe

    What would you say your weight distribution is between your front and back feet at top of back swing? At impact?

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Most of my weight goes to my back foot in my backswing. It's still on my back foot at impact with my driver but has moved to my front foot when I hit an iron, probably 60-70%.

    Hi Marcus
    Your videos have really helped my golf swing. I can't find a video that you showed where you dropped a golf tee behind the ball. You imagine the balls is there and swing thru the real ball with the driver.
    Thanks
