My parents weren’t really around for my childhood so when this would play on the radio in obetz Ohio In the passenger of my grandpas car It’d always serve for a perfect memory, still tuck my shirts in whenever I can because that’s what grandpa would do.
Couple weeks ago I'm outside stacking firewood with my 2yo boy playing in the yard. I grab the wheelbarrow start loading it up with wood to bring inside and I look up to check on my boy and he's pushing his toy wheelbarrow up to me with a big smile. So I load it up with bark and tinder and he followed me back to the house. Except he stops at his blue and yellow Little Tykes pickup truck and loads the bark in it. I love that little booger.
I just cannot stand that chord progression during the verses. I've played for 25 years and that dark, ominous minor change during a major note song just Bugs the hell out of me.
I can’t be the only one that finds it extremely weird that these dudes set up a full blown acoustic session just to make a video of them lip syncing to the original track from over 10 years ago right? Lol
