@@bufftucker Yeah they've also mentioned a bunch of times they want this to be successful so they can do more D&D but this is a new channel so they need to do testing and see what their audience wants. I feel like we'll almost certainly see more of these characters, it might just be a few months.
I suspect if they asked everyone they would play this for free. ;) (but pay the DM dammit! :p)

I love seeing how much and how comfortable Tilly's grown in her time on NRB/now Chaotic Neutral! I remember in her first few appearances it kind of felt like she was sort of slowly easing into the channel and the format, and now it's like she's been here forever! Even just that eye rub bit at the start, fantastic goofs.
Really hope this is only the penultimate episode, because you wanted to gage the interest and that the interest has been sufficient for you to continue
Ikr. I think they'd be silly not to have this as the penultimate episode of THIS campaign, but keep the party and do another adventure.

This series came at the perfect time, because I want to get into DnD and I feel like this one is very beginner friendly. Shame it's already almost over, I'm in love with all of these characters.
By the Power of Greyskull, it only took 4 episodes for Tom to reference my all-time favourite (& incredibly underrated) Motorhead song, amazing!

An Attack of Opportunity, unless you have a feature that states otherwise (such as the Tunnel Fighter fighting style from playtest material), uses your reaction. For player characters, aside from Tunnel Fighter, or having additional reactions due to a feature such as Mind of Mercury from the Way of the Cobalt Soul monk, would only be able to make one attack of opportunity per round. Also, sneak attack is once per turn, not once per round, so if you make an attack that isn't on your turn , such as an Attack of Opportunity, if the attack would trigger sneak attack it will do so even if you already triggered sneak attack on your turn.

Really hoping to see more from these characters in the future, I've really loved this series.
I do hope at some point we get a sequel series to this if it does end after the next episode, I'd be fine for a break to try out other game systems and show those off, and maybe watching those I'd be even more excited to see them go further, but for now I really enjoy all these characters and seeing everyone's reactions and decisions to everything, I hope for a continuation someday.
If a channel is going to feature multiple rpg systems, it would be fun if they made it the same characters transporting between worlds in overarching campaign kind of like the show Quantum leap. Maybe that is too much to ask for a channel just starting RPGs.

I absolutely love this series and the roleplaying value of this team! I did notice a possible mistakeÑ a character only ever gets to make 1 opportunity attack, so the tiger wasn´t supposed to get three
This is freaking awesome, sitting at the edge of the chair following these brave heroes and Master Tom plotting all sorts of evil against them. Fingers crossed we get much more dungeon crawling and monster bashing!

I have never gotten into watching DnD before, but I gave the first episode a go and I was hooked.
Everything is so intriguing, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the characters are brilliant!
This has quickly become something I look forward to watching weekly! I hope this continues for a long time with more adventures to tell!

Tom does such a fantastic job of juggling multiple PCs in multiple scenes at the same time without. As a DM it's so hard to hit the right cadence between focusing too long on a scene or jumping to the next group too soon!
Watch the prologue, punters! (I'm not english so not sure how offensive 'punters' is - intent is playful). But commenting to feed the algorithm. I know this is a limited series - but I would definitely like to see the characters more one (assuming survival).

This series is just plain amazing. Sad to know that the next one is the last one, but it makes sense with the channel being new and experimenting with different styles of TTRPGs. Also, I love the fact that the town still being there has to do with magic. I said that in the comments on the last video and I'm super hyped to see the end of this.

1:08:55 - In 5e you ALWAYS round down. Just to keep it fair and easy across the board. Players’ Handbook p7:
“There’s one more general rule you need to know at the outset. Whenever you divide a number in the game, round down if you end up with a fraction, even if the fraction is one-half or greater.”
1:10:51 - Dell had an enemy in melee range when she shot the Wizard, so I do believe she should have rolled the attack with disadvantage.

I don't love being a rules lawyer, but in my understanding, an attack of opportunity uses your reaction so I believe you can only do one per round... Liva the tiger got 3.
Yea there was also an inconsistency regarding rounding up and down. The DM doesn't, per standard, non-homebrewed rules, get a leg up in that way. Everyone either rounds down (standard rules) or everyone rounds up.
I would say that the Attack of Opportunity is a bit more egregious, because there is a tactical element to triggering a foe's reaction, as well as it is a reason just like any other action-economy. In particular for spellcasters with Shield or Counterspell.
...tiger is also a wild shape available for lvl 8 druids (CR 1), the closest available at lvl 2 would be a panther (CR 1/4) with 13hp
@@adambilton3567 I think Liva is a moon druid, so she ignores the CR column from lvl 2 forward. Should be valid to be a tiger then.

Wildshape, as opposed to Polymorph, has you keep your mental stats instead of using the beast's mental stats (which would usually be lower). So your perception bonus would remain the same as it normally is unless the beast has a feature that impacts the check (such as keen senses) or it is proficient with a skill that you aren't. However, if the beast has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, you can use the beast's bonus instead of yours.

I'm subscribed and I was literally just looking at the channel to see if this was posted a few minutes ago. Just missed. Had my first D&D experience at a con this weekend where I was guided through 1 hr character creation and 1 hr oneshot. Now I want more even if it isn't with my Half-Elf Noble Paladin named Cedrick.

Only Holly and Dom have their subclasses so far. Moon and (I guess) Necromancy. Who will everyone else be if they reach 3rd level? Blair seems like a Swashbuckler and Tilly a Gloomstalker but Sully's and Laurie's are still up for grabs IMO.
