Thank you again for all the time and energy the both of you use to give us great content. Wishing you luck on all future conquests using the canals and river systems.
There you seem to stand smiling and generally in a good mood. In the bloopers, I realize, this is just your half exasperated, half desperate laugh because of all the interruptions :D
The talk of winter stoppages reminds me of back in the sixties British Waterways over an Easter weekend replaced the bottom gates at Uxbridge Lock on the GU. Visited with Dad each day, watched two men with "two man saw" cut the the mating bevel on the gates quite job as it was the bottom gates. No concern for leisure boaters at that time
Gal, Guy and Pup, I have no ground on which to comment about something of which I do not have. I would settle for George's hair. lol. I have felt flies try to land only to skid off. Even my beard is thinning. Just listening to your plans has me seeking rest. But at least you are not sitting around making the vultures take bets so good on you. Enjoy life while you can. Take care and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
Just got up to date with your very entertaining and informative videos having watched them all from the beginning over period of a few weeks. Life will seem empty now. I suppose I'll just have to click the comments, subscribe to the bell and wait for the next one.
You are always entertaining, and through your vlogs, I and other wishful wandering souls, are seeing the canals as they should be seen, fully and with all the ups and downs. A moan with a laugh is what life is like, do not change. 😎😎☔
My waterways map just made it all the way to New Zealand in one piece. Love it - very impressed, clearly a lot of work went into it. Having managed to cover about half a percent of it on our UK holiday last year thanks to Black Prince Boats, we can now plan our next trip (or two, or a hundred.....). Now, if only someone did a map just like this but with all the best waterside pubs and restaurants highlighted.... An idea for version 2 maybe?
Exciting times indeed. .Michael needs a challenge. You've definitely inspired me to pay another visit to the Lancaster Canal. I think I saw Lillie boat in the Marina as you passed.
The Lancashire Canal looks really beautiful! And your cruising plans are very exciting - and the tension mounts because of all the ifs! I always enjoy your vlogs. Thank you for all the fun.
MY hair is worst. There, the pressure's off you. Delightful cruise today, thanks for that. I hope you get to find a rest time/place soon, this bustling about seems to be working against your laid back style. 😎 Happy cruising!
Well done those cows for sorting the swing bridge. Well done for looking after that boat. Hope it all worked out for you, ship canal sounds exciting and looks huge when I was there last month. How does it go Michael? Take care you three.
You guys love narrowboating but having to be somewhere at a certain time is a pain but all part of it i suppose . I hope you are all going to to do the Ribble Link this time , Jo and George take note :-)
The way you two talk about that area (Preston area) just makes me even more antsy to move there! Haha from the sound of it you’ve already WELL gone past Savick and the Ribble link and all that, but I hope it went smoothly!
Great and funny als always! Are you guys aware of the Zomboat! series? Or have you watched it alreday? I mean, what could be more fun than a TV show with narrowboats and zombies?
Great vlog as always . Looking forward to watching your adventures ahead if they happen 😃 Wouldn't have cared comment on the hair anyway 😂 and all my best wishes to you three 😁
You’ve probably already figured this out but a decent trivial question. What’s the difference between rivers in England and rivers in the US?......we use the River bit before the name in England and after in the US, River Mersey, Mississippi River . Trivial eh!
glad you had a good time on the lancaster you both looking moor relaxed Joe even letting your hair down, reminds of your first days of this challenge ?
Hi guys great vlog ur out takes make me laugh, once u get the sea worthy certificate does that mean u can do the full leingh of the river severn to bath then
Pedantry: Time for George and me (not I) to get on board. Quick check: Drop the name before "and" to see whether it's me or I. Preferred: Time for (George and) me to get on board. Jamaican variant for Rastas: Time for I to get on board. Ta.
I really enjoyed the video and it was made even more special due to the fact you posted it on the most auspicious day for Lancastrians. November 27th. www.forl.co.uk/lancashire-day/proclamation. Looking forward to the next instalment of your ongoing adventures, can't wait to see how things went with the crossings. I hope you had "Fair Winds and Following Seas." As an old Lancashire greeting goes "Here's my hand, here's my heart" I hope you get the chance to cruise the Black and White again in the future but without any time restraints.
Thank you again for all the time and energy the both of you use to give us great content. Wishing you luck on all future conquests using the canals and river systems.
Thank you for the support! It means a lot

I think the birds on the last blooper were louder than George or the train.
"Grannies Do It" - New T-shirt?

Exactly! We didn’t buy a boat to stay still!
