I have a 3155b the starter doesn't look that and it's on the right side of the compressor. Compressor won't come on

Do u hear the compressor try to come on u might just have to change ur start relay if u don't hear the compressor attempting to come on. But my starter was on the right too and I had moved it to where it was. But long as the ratings are the same u can use any capacitor.

@@extremevending6842 the compressor does try to come on. And further inspection I saw the fan blade wasn't attached to the motor. I believes it never cooled the unit. I even felt around the condenser for some screws or bolts and found nothing. I need to identify the starter relay

​@@jayreed8199sorry for late reply but the start relay will always be inside a box on the side of the compressor and if u have a start capacitor it will be there also and look like a battery u can disconnect this the capacitor and run some test with the multimetter and inspect it. For any visible damage of it is. Look up serial number for a replacement and hook up it should hook right in to ur starter relay and common terminal

​@@extremevending6842thanks it was the relay for the compressor and fan. I changed it out and it came on. I've since sold the machine.
