He knows how to attract Indian public by understanding their mentality very well.
He knows how Indians go GaGa on seeing a white guy cherishing Indian food.
Plus, the velli (unemployed) population of India is so high that it's the right time to reap the benefits.
No other food review can ever get him so high Views/ Subscribers than the PIOs (person of Indian Origin)..... He's a smart dude, he knows how to get paid by TH-cam.... and nothing wrong with that.

Great video!!!! David you do an amazing job illustrating Indian Cuisines.
Being North Indian PUNJABI myself, one thing to note is that we PUNJABIS (North Indians) do NOT use our hands to eat rice/biriyani or or the dishes....we either use the bread/Naan to pick up the food or we use spoons. Never have I seen Punjabis eat rice etc with their hands. Please clarify this in your videos.
    Thanks.

    Hey David,
Saag and palak are so different
    Palak mean spinach
Saag is made from Mustard Leafs and
Palak is made from Spinach leafs
    I'm from Punjab
Saag is prepared in every house of Punjab during winters.

    • @somde9731

Well, saag is also a generic term for all green leafy vegetables.

    • @rashmi2537

Ya it's full name is sarson ka saag ,eaten with makki ki roti. (Makki means corn). Super delicios food !! There are so many different green leafy vegetables in India. Each having unique flavour.

    • @adityaaryan3883
      @adityaaryan3883 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Veere, saag is actually a common term of all green leafy plants which are consumed (specially in North and East India), In punjab saag generally defines "sarso ka saag" but even palak (red or green) is referred as saag

David Mughals came from middle east which is covered with deserts & they were not very familiar with Rice which is the main ingredient of Biriyani . Moreover spices used in biriyani are also very much Indian . You can find citation of Biriyani like food platter in Mahabharata & other books of Vedic times which are atleast 7000 years old. In Mahabharata King Yudhisthir along with Pandabas arranged an yagna ( a Hindu holy ritual ) after foundation of Indraprashtha an ancient Indian city . He invited dignitaries across the Indian continent and served delicious & delicate biriyani like food prepared with same kind of spices & lamb meat hunted from forest . You can find kebab like descriptions in Vedic times too .

He is probably an Indian wanderer who tasted every regional food.. obviously in his previous birth. Without which such demonstration just not possible..
His mixing food artistically with fingers and relishing would keep my kids to shame as they are westernised and they feel it's uncivilized.
Thank you David. Your past karma brought many thousands of Indians as your fans and I'm very sure they are realizing their ignored food habits ( including licking fingers with hmmm sound which is incredible).
