I'm a poet and I used to get hung up on people relating to my words. Then I realised only a few that I hold precious relate to me day to day so why should I be surprised that the majority don't relate to my written word. Coming to piece with that allowed me to let go and publish my first collection last year. Now people I've never met tell me they relate to my words. But I know she is looking. This song helps me feel the way I use to when she was alive. Thank you for that feeling again.

Absolutely ugly crying. When we say “ahh” it’s usually like a sigh of relief or like when we sit in a comfy chair after standing all day. Contrast that expectation with the melancholy tune and wow did that speak to me. She’s in her happy place but can’t shake this sadness underneath. It even kinda mimics the pitch of a relieved “ahh” where it starts high and scales down lower. Of course I’m reading too much into this but that’s art baby! Beautiful pairing of lyrics and melody
